Thanls for the QORA!

I'm getting 15 MYR/Day from a quad core i5 that only mines on a qubit pool while I'm not using the laptop for work.  You may want to try to tweak your settings for better performance.

Is Myriad really a coin for everyone? I'm trying Qubit right now on a 8-core 16 GB RAM machine and I get 0.4 MYR per hour. That's a joke!

Mining doesn't guarantee profits. At least not if you sell immediately. That's valid in real life and in cryptos.
I know that. I'm long enough in this business. But 10 MYR per day is far too little. Either the algo is crap or my command line is wrong. Here it is:
Code:
./minerd -a qubit -o stratum+tcp://myr-qubit.cpu-pool.net:3590 -u xxx_1 -p x
I'm using QubitCoin-cpuminer.

at most considering cost and electricity.
On this list my AMD-A8 is not listed. Thank you anyway.

They are interesting from the standpoint that they appeal to different miners.  Each current algo attracts a different segment.  ASIC, GPU, or CPU miners pick their algo based on efficiency or advantage.  CryptoKnight in particular appeals to CPU miners because there is currently no GPU option that I'm aware of.

CryptoKnight and Keccak look interesting.

Any possibility of adding new algos in the near future?

Just for the sake of adding algos? What do any algos out there do that the current Myriad algos cannot?

It needs to be more than interesting to undergo the hardforking and accompanying complications required for this.

Maybe for the pros, but for the hobby miner or somebody just getting their feet wet their still interesting at bargain prices.

so quiet.....  Huh

That's because gridseeds are pretty much a discontinued and out dated product now. You can still pick some up cheap, but for the price per Mhs they are not worth it with whats being released now and in the next 2-3 weeks.

 Huh

I think that the script is slowly but surely killing the coin, or rather kill her Asics.

is ~40 minutes the correct launch time?

Thanks to whoever made this countdown timer but. this countdown timer is off by 1 hour, the releases will be in ~40 minutes, not 1hr 40mins.
