1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YCO Y-Coin a new crypto on: February 15, 2021, 02:42:08 AM
I wanted in on EWT.  Looks like a good long term coin to have. While getting setup, it took off so I didn't get in. Looks like POWR does the same but for Australia?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what gives tokens printed from thin air any long term sustainable value? on: February 11, 2021, 05:10:17 AM
I've wondered this myself. I am looking forward to responses. It would seem that the law of supply and demand would apply. High demand and low supply would increase the price but I don't see what creates the demand from one crypto to another. I can see Bitcoin but almost all the other ones I don't see why one would have more demand over the other.

OP: Projects that solve real problems...

replies.. low cap shills Grin

seriously check our energy web token. green energy assets need blockchain to properly scale. look at their partners https://energyweb.live/partners and projects https://energyweb.live/projects they're even working alongside Google and Microsoft as part of the EnergyTag foundation which is bringing hourly energy certificates to maket. check https://energytag.org and scroll down to partners section. it's a low risk future top 20 project. dyor but don't wait too long before looking into it.

So how does releasing a crypto help further this project. Does the project hold a certain amount of crypto and as the value goes up they can use this money to further the project or is at as results of users on the blockchain or some other technology. Also, what causes the value of the crypto to go up is it something this project does or is it supply versus demand of the buyers and seller of the crypto. I'm not disagreeing with you as I am new and I am trying to understand.

Thanks for the insight. I would guess that these aren't traded on normal exchanges like coinbase. So I would have to buy ethereum and then find a place that will swap the crypto to Ocean or D4RK or whatever by connecting to my coinbase wallet and doing the swap?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / YCO Y-Coin a new crypto on: February 09, 2021, 02:49:51 AM
I was reading about a new coin offering with a symbol of YCO. This coin will be started by Youssof Altoukhi. I don't want to post a link since I'm surely not promoting it. I'd like to get into something early. I made a decent bit of money on the dogecoin hype and sold out. The float is too high so I didn't want to stay in it too long.  It was my first time in crypto. I'd like to put 500-750 bucks in something and forget about it. If I lose, I lose. I made enough on doge.

I'm in the US so I can't buy it through the UK exchange link they posted. They posted a link to the uniswap website. I'm not sure if any wallet can hold YCO (like atomic wallet) or if you need a different wallet? Any opinions on this new offering.
