I was reading about a new coin offering with a symbol of YCO. This coin will be started by Youssof Altoukhi. I don't want to post a link since I'm surely not promoting it. I'd like to get into something early. I made a decent bit of money on the dogecoin hype and sold out. The float is too high so I didn't want to stay in it too long. It was my first time in crypto. I'd like to put 500-750 bucks in something and forget about it. If I lose, I lose. I made enough on doge.
I'm in the US so I can't buy it through the UK exchange link they posted. They posted a link to the uniswap website. I'm not sure if any wallet can hold YCO (like atomic wallet) or if you need a different wallet? Any opinions on this new offering.
I fail to see what innovations they're bringing. Governance isn't anything new. If you buy Y coin my personal opinion is that you're buying their ability to market it to new money effectively. This is not 2017, there are many projects with actual utility you could look into. Pick something with staking and utility. Ocean protocol is creating a new data economy and has staking program against dataset. Energy Web has a lot of projects and I believe staking is coming soonish. If you want something high risk D4RK has storefronts coming and a 18% APY.
Those are just a few examples my point is that Y-coin whitepaper is just a whitepaper and imo doesn't bring anything gamechanging. Many projects offer utility (less risk) with same / better long term returns in my opinon.
