1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency - on: January 10, 2015, 11:28:27 PM
I said it once and I'll say it again

We should somehow get the names of the people who worked on this coin at the time that was before the bitcoin conference.

We don't know if they were dishonest or not. what we do know if that none of them came here and said "its over" or anything that would let people know that they stopped working on this coin (and by that let people know not to waste their money on buying or mining it).

Sadly enough usually its the same type of people who will come up with new ideas to ask investors to give them money.

Even worse they can be hired in a managerial position above you.

No one wants to deal with people who cant take responsibility or to give their investors the minimum of respect.

Sadly such people always find a way to take things like isracoin and make themselves look good when they present themselves to new investors or workplaces.

I must stress that i do not have a problem with their failed project - the problem is with them failing to tell us that its over and let us keep mining or buying the coin.

they went out with pumped up words before the bitcoin conference and then disappeared

From one point of view it can look like a last resort attempt to pump the price and get some money before jumping out of this project

Anyway it would be nice to know their names.. i would not want to work with such people (above or below them).

I really don't see why they don't give the minimum respect to say thanks to all their supporters or to even come and say that they still intend to somehow get this project up(unlikely).

But what can be done now? If it gets de-listed on Bittrex that is seriously bad news..... I really held (and to a certain point still hold) high hopes for ISR. But it seems that all devs were assassinated or just don't give a flying fuck about people outside Israel...

It does not seem like they give a damn about people in israel.... probably give the most damn when it comes to sell their coins through their "change" site that sells 1 isr for $0.3 cents that also offers "discount for bulk buyer" hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm suspicious maybe? wink wink

g_d :   Just a theory... One of the guys they work with, has a company that makes mining hardware. so its a logical possibility that they don't care of you mine it or not and even more it might be a possibility that they mine and sell most of the coins out there(without a need to touch the premine)

combine it with with the fact that currently(as i'm writing it and it might change)  http://www.israchange.co.il/  - says that they sell each ISR for 0.10 sekels which is about 0.03 cent (a lot more than the price in crypto exchanges) plus offer "discount" to whoever buys in bulk...

I will not be surprised if the coins that they sell in this site and also the coins sold in "change stores" are not getting bought off exchanges and are being sold from the amount of coins that they mine everyday - if they partner with a mining hardware company then again its possible that they produce a large amount of coins everyday (not saying that its like this, just saying I won't be surprised).

And even in THEORY _IF_ they are buying it off exchanges.. they would actually enjoy a "low" price because they sell their ISR for a fixed(and currently higher) price at http://www.israchange.co.il

So why should they give us any word? they might not even need us.

P.S - the housing deal from the link posted above says that you can pay with ISR up to something like 14,000 sekels which is something like 3700$ - and of course there is no evidence saying that they accept ISR at a higher rate than in exchanges anyway.

First thing first - I did not call the coin a scam coin. what I want is two things - to discover if it is a scam coin and know who are behind it.

sejwan said "I too am invested in this coin and will hold all I have collected, I have faith in this project and intend to continue with my support, (calling for people's name is a little overboard and dangerous kinda like a lynch mob waiting to happen.)"

Not at all - when you invest in a company or buy stocks or bonds - You can get enough info about the people who are standing in the head of the company.

For example if you like the way that they handle the business you might want to invest in other projects they will head in the future.

If they did not do a satisfactory job.. then you can choose not to invest in their projects in the future

not having "names" is very "crypto" would -you- go and buy stocks and bonds of a company that has no offices or names of the people who are behind it? I think not.

The problem is that many people see the crypto world as a bunch of kids who mine with graphic cards. a lot of people are investors, people who actually use their money to invest in a coin, just like they would do the same in the stock market.

The need to know who is standing behind a successful or failed project is a legitimate one and has nothing to do with a mob waiting with torches.

-

CoinMiner10 - I've read that you disagreed with me and I didn't say its a scam coin, just that things seem to be very suspicious... judging by what you pointed at, should make this coin a great coin -- IF and when we will get a proof for most of those things.

g_d - you invested in electricity and also mined ISR when you could mine a more profitable coin, you invested money and helped the blockchain, the ISR DEVS owe an answer to people like you who continue to activly support their project by holding their blockchain.

schnorchel - thanks for the info, will get into it...

-

All I have to say to the people who believe in ISR is one thing - if you believe in it... then go buy 20,000 coins - it costs nothing right now...

I honestly wont be surprised if the DEVS are silent on purpose in order to lower the price so there will be a "logical" room for a 5 times jump the moment they will do a last resort PR boom.

Hi, all

Me and a group of other crypto investors would like to get some details about the person(or people) who were taking care of the isracoin project in the past 1-3 months(we assume that the active members changed).

The more and more time passes, the more this project looks suspicious and we would like to know who is the person behind it in case this project will prove to be a scam project - I think people should know who was behind it, in case the same person will come with another "business plan".

We are going to try and get info from active bitcoin community members regarding if ISR really did make an announcement in the recent Israeli bitcoin conference

I personally believe that there should be zero tolerance attitude towards people who use cryptos to scam the public and clearly want to know what's the nature of this coin ( still not saying its a scam coin ).

Even if it was a failed coin... i would expect the dev to come out and say its failed and this way the investors and miners will know that it's over.

The lack of info shows lack of respect to the investors and supporters of the coin and I honestly think that the name of the person should be public. so people could take that into consideration before choosing to do business with such a person.

I'd be happy to get more info about the person(the one who was taking care of ISR in the past 3 months)  PM me

Thanks

P.S - Is there anyone in here who is able to check if a large amount of ISR moved from the ISR premine wallet?

Let's be honest here - the price is dropping because they failed to post a followup after the bitcoin conference

They are not stupid and they knew that if they will disappear the price will drop and drop.

I feel sorry to whoever bought ISR in "change shops"... as far as i remember they sold them for 3 cents per ISR (correct me if I'm wrong).

I will not be surprised if the DEVs had this as an idea... as they do offer "bulk prices" in the website which looks a bit suspicious

And i guess the only way to make profit of it without touching the premine is to just lower the prices in exchanges, buying for low and selling for high to newcomers through their website.

The DEVS can just come and say that its not like that... however .... there should be a simple and logical answer to why they couldn't post something like "great conference, we are now undergoing busy times to make all of it manifest, stay tuned!!"

Do you plan to give us some update now that the bitcoin conference is over? I'd love to hear how it went and get more specific details regarding the deal with the housing company and how it's supposed to effect this coin.

I would also love to hear about your plans for the upcoming future(if it's not a secret)

Have a good week Smiley

p.s - do you plan to market this coin to the israeli public? so far i've seen that you neglected the online arena so I assume that having a very active global community is not part of your plan right now... is it because you plan directly market it in Israeli web sites? or are you also interested to get coin followers outside of your country?

Bittrex decided to take the first step and combat annoying trade bots.

https://altcoinherald.com/bittrex-busts-bots/

Their method is not perfect, but still better than nothing.

We might see a more healthy ISR market in Bittrex and this might come just in the right time, in case the ISR team come out with some good announcements around the the Israeli holiday season.

What annoys me is self righteous obnoxious trolls who see a new coin doing well, "possibly" being pumped for a dump, and obviously with nothing better to do, come to our forum beating their chest.
Ranting pretentious self fulfilling proficies to make themselves feel like mini Warren Buffets instead of objectively looking at the coins strength's, age, merits, and worth.
So much easier for them to put things down, than ever use that acorn in their head!

ANYONE can pump and dump a coin! It could be an individual or a group of professional pump and dumper's.
So why attack the community, the dev's and the coin when you cant prove one iota that it is being pumped by the dev's?

Obviously a total crap P and D none the less! As they didn't bother or if you use your acorn, COULDN'T drag it to the bottom as is the norm with any P and D.
Logic tells me these P and D's fell way short, and left early half empty handed as they ran out of supply.
The recent dumps of late would be attributed to weak hands and multipools. The MP timing is right, also the amounts and halving of difficulty in the last 24 as they move on.

Isracoin has a lot of people and love behind it. Its growth and staying power in only a few weeks is testimony to that,
Isracoin Is a genuine crypto, so until you can prove it isn't, your inflated opinions are invalid, pointless and thoughtless.

This is simply the most professional and financially structured coin to hit the market in 2014.

wat

LOL.

You're just a bagholder.

I cant believe that this is going to be my first post here... geez people are so weird /// both the trolls and the ones who keep yelling that coins will reach the moon.

I for one have around 2000 isracoins - i made them in a two days or two and a half days - my rig is nice... and i already paid off my investment a long time ago... so i don't mind mining new coins for a couple of days and keep them. I actually did it with aururacoin or however you spell its name. it paid off.

Up until now i was just reading coin forums. i only registered to email a dev of some other coin.

I have no problem with trolls , as long as they have a plan behind what they are doing... maybe they want to scare idiots into panic selling so they will buy coins on a cheap price and sell high later on

Maybe they do it because they support other coins and they try to make their competition go down.
both reasons are "ok" there are no rules in here.

However if the trolls are doing this just in order to make up for their feeling of frustration due to failing to make any money in this field ... they should get a life and maybe also a gf.

I mainly mine in multi pools - not because i like the idea behind it... its just because im sick and tired of both trolls, fanboys, panic sellers and co who fuck up coins.

I'll continue to mine new coins for a day or two. i don't care.. i have the privilege to do so.

As for "bag holders" ... just sell 50% of what you have when the price goes high.

I would sell half of what i have if i wasn't to lazy to register into one of the silly exchange sites that this coin was listed in... again i don't care.  my suggestion to everyone is to just mine new coins with full power when diff levels are low... that way they will be less attached to outcome... a day or two does not feel like a crazy investment.

to everyone : have fun trolling , flying to the moon , mining , looking for a life and so on
