...
I reported desire to purchase. I sent a private message. I did not get an answer. ...

same here. be prepared to "renew the order " one more time when he finally commits himself to accept orders. reading carefully the whole thread again and he nowhere writes that he would send to or respect orders he did not confirmed.
if you did not received a reply with order/miner count confirmation than be prepared to  post again "when instructed to do so"

13  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: July 03, 2013, 01:06:04 PM
Is there a way to import a historical file from the old image as we lose the historical data on the charts. Until updates are allowed, perhaps there is a work around?

try:
It should be fairly simple, it will just pick up /opt/minepeon/etc/* and /opt/minepeon/var/rrd/*.rrd and allow you to restore them to a new version.

14  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Zerocoin: Anonymous Distributed E-Cash from Bitcoin on: July 03, 2013, 02:09:01 AM
Who's we? ... good news btw.

I'm not their spokesperson but I guess it's the university researchers (prof & his students) working on their papers and this is the implementation. I wonder if they heard of testnet and bothered to add a flag to run on testnet before potentially destroying real coins
15  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: July 02, 2013, 04:00:14 PM
What about my questions regarding the possibility to use this to run miners in a datacentre?

of course you can run those in a datacenter and connect remotely to them. ssh and web+https start on boot. forum users suggest that 40 usb asic miners (block eruptors) can run on a single raspberry.

I did not understand why to include a second R pi, thus did not answer earlier, did not make sense. there is no way how the second one would take over the mining coordination in case of the failure of the first one.
16  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: July 02, 2013, 10:41:24 AM
thought on coin control and selection of inputs:
hi jim, i think no need to worry about developing the perfect feature, just allow selecting an address that should be used for sure in the payment.

if the balance is not enough, let the app chose other inputs as usual. as long as the funds are send in the same transaction, it can be proved that the one of the source addresses was chosen by the user, he can sign the group buy message with the chosen address/key and the rest of the payment comes from his wallet, so no more issues.
(if I can sign for one address used as input, i'm also able to sign with other addresses, just makes no sense to go through all the loops).

tl;dr; just pick an address that must be used for outgoing payment, the rest is already there.

good luck selling. i'm confident that sooner or later you'll find a buyer

just want to point out that there were not so many 10.000 btc transactions around May 22 2010, their count rhymes with none. it just so happens that the transaction did happen and everything else is signed tx after tx in the public domain.
"we all know how to check the transaction history" in blockchain. I only have 3.50 of those so can not bid more than fractions of that.
