Need advice !

This question is more directed to the bitcoin miners. I have been Bit-coining for about 8 months now and I really enjoy doing it. The only problem is I'm not making any profit, long story short I have spent around $1500 and only made $ 500.00/ I have 4 miners pumping out 450 gh, and on a good day I might make .01 bt which means I will most likely never see a profit with my current set up... So here are my questions;

1) Is bit coin mining dead ?, should I though in the towel.
2) If it is not dead, should I buy a really big bitcoin miner $2000.00+, or lots of smaller ones ?.
3) What should I buy next and where should I buy them ?.

Thanks for the advice.

Can you guys please tell me where that manual reset switch/button on the Bitmain AntMiner S1 Dual Blade is ?. I went in the interface with 192.168.1.99 and changed my IP address, now I can't access the the devices interface at all. I need it reset back to its factory default.

-Thank you very much.

I hope this works... Here are all my ip setting.

Thank you once again guys ! you guys are the best.
Can you post the contents of your .bat file as well?

I'll stare at these a bit and see what I can see.
I think we might have found the problem... I thought since I am using Slush's pool, I didn't need to make a .bat file. Unless you are talking about the Proxy Sever Screen shots. Can you guys please e-mail...Mark.Cusack@gmail.com/ I don't feel comfortable with my IP settings out where everyone can see them.

Well, that's the sticky wicket. Here's what in my .bat file:

Code:
cd C:\Users\M\Downloads\Old junk\CTB\Cube Proxy
mining_proxy.exe -o stratum.mining.eligius.st -p 3334 -q

Obviously, that would change for you, based on your location for the proxy and the pool you are using.

Clearly I feel like a dumbass... But i'm still having problems... This is what I made for a .bat File = cd C:\Users\Mark\Desktop\mining_proxy.exe
mining_proxy.exe -o stratum.mining.eligius.st -p 8330 -q          .... Does that look correct ?

Hi everyone... I love bit coining but I am not loving this Block Erupter Cube... I have been trying to set it up for 5 days, I got as far as entering my data into the cubes interface and running the proxy, but this is the errors I am getting =

I think its my IP or Worker.... Please Help, I really want this to work.

14  Bitcoin / Mining support / BitCoin / Namecoin question ! on: April 13, 2014, 03:46:31 AM
Hi everyone... I got a quicky question, I am hashing at about 2.8 gh. In my Bitminer profile my bitcoins mined has not moved in 3 days yet the namecoins have go up.... Is this normal ?

PS; With GUIMiner I mine at .0002 bitcoins per day so I know its something to do with Bitminter.

-Thank you to anyone that can answer this.
