Hi everyone... I love bit coining but I am not loving this Block Erupter Cube... I have been trying to set it up for 5 days, I got as far as entering my data into the cubes interface and running the proxy, but this is the errors I am getting =
08:09:40,259 info proxy client_service.handle_event # newjob ccd9 for prevhash a28087c3, clean_jobs=False

I think its my IP or Worker.... Please Help, I really want this to work.
Upload a screenshot of the cube config page, cmd with ipconfig /all and of the proxy please.

Ha, this kills me. I thought I said this, and sure enough, I did not.

We need these Markus, to see whatever else is going on.

Somehow I can't connect to it even though my subnet is correct and I tried direct connect with 3 different computers and different OS.

Is it broken if the red light doesn't turn off?

Are you able to see its IP using an IP scanner?

Thank you once again for all your help.

Your pool addresses need to match the IP of the machine you are running the Cube on, as I noted above.

That IP you Googled is some server somewhere, not your actual machine.

Someone with better networking eyes will have to take a look at that. I should think that if you can connect to that interweb dealio without any issues, that should be fine. But don't quote me.

One thing about the Cube, you've got its IP pegged at the high limit.

Try backing that down a bit, some IP you aren't using of course. 192.168.1.200 is what the original post recommends.

I think we might have found the problem... I thought since I am using Slush's pool, I didn't need to make a .bat file. Unless you are talking about the Proxy Sever Screen shots. Can you guys please e-mail...Mark.Cusack@gmail.com/ I don't feel comfortable with my IP settings out where everyone can see them.

Thanks guys.

Well, that's the sticky wicket. Here's what in my .bat file:

Code:
cd C:\Users\M\Downloads\Old junk\CTB\Cube Proxy
mining_proxy.exe -o stratum.mining.eligius.st -p 3334 -q

Obviously, that would change for you, based on your location for the proxy and the pool you are using.

Clearly I feel like a dumbass... But i'm still having problems... This is what I made for a .bat File = cd C:\Users\Mark\Desktop\mining_proxy.exe
mining_proxy.exe -o stratum.mining.eligius.st -p 8330 -q          .... Does that look correct ?

Well, no, you have mining_proxy.exe in there twice.

Change the 8330 to 3334.

Try those changes, and see what happens.

The only IP address that might be a problem to share is your external IP. All 192.168.x.x are non-routeable addresses.

Yep, for example mine will look almost identical because ipconfig /all only describes the relationship between your computer and your router - nothing external.

So there's a few problems. You have the .bat doing strange things. At the moment your proxy is facing eligius pool and not slush's. You don't have to run any other information as it defaults to slush's. You also had -q for some reason that just confused it. This is for slush's:

Code:
cd C:\Users\Mark\Desktop\mining_proxy.exe
mining_proxy.exe

Also removed the port as there's no point moving it. Change the "Pool ports" back to 8332,8332. Now assuming your computer is at .201, your router at .200 and that's the miner details for slush's you should be good to go.
