But I am curious that some people are still wasting their time on faucets, are you making money from the faucet? Faucets are just absolutely waste of time.
Sometimes it's not just about making BTC by having people view ads. It's about getting eyeballs / clicks on a certain thing and using a few satoshis to do it. With that being said keep in mind from the script PHP >= 5.4 (tested on 5.6), please do not use PHP 7.0 or higher Anything older then 7.4 is way out of date and vulnerable. I don't even know of any webhosts that still support it. Hi! I'M doing some tests with Salmen's Simple faucet and i got technical problems with Google's re-captcha..
Even when the test is passed at 100%, i get this message : 'Captcha is wrong. Try again'...
I have alredy made my homeworks and have tried almost every possible troubleshooting solutions already....
Maybe to update the re-captcha librairies in the script would be a solution....
Anyway, i was wondering if someone did had the same re-captcha problem with Salmen's simple script (Jaguarbitcoin) ? ....
And if yes, what was your solution to make it work ?

I fixed the address bug, removed ExpressCrypto and added a secondary captcha which will prevent automated bots.
Very nice faucet! Are you still taking web developper jobs ? I am interested in your faucet with all options and i was wondering if you could develop to make it run in a wordpress plugin that would be also compatible with the wordpress MyCred points system? I left you a PM Thanks alot! Matt |

Hi ! A big thanks to you for sharing this, i just got hacked and they stole about 2000000 satoshi from me. I have disabled my faucets before i can secure my faucets again. My faucets are all on Cloudflare, would you recommend any special configs with your script for cloudflare users ? Also, i have ZB block security script on them but this is not helping to block proxies. However, i think it's blocking TOR users well. So, using your security techniques in conjonction with Cloudflare and ZB Block ? Do you think it would be a good idea ? If yes, any special configs to make to make it work all together ? I was also thinking of installing this script instead of ZB BLOCK : http://codecanyon.net/item/safeguard-pro-ultimate-php-website-protection/6783181In final, what do you think would be the idea setup for me and what to avoid ? Hi, well the captcha is free, the other expense is the coins and your time...à The cost depend on the traffic you have, more traffic cost more coins but you make more revenues with your ads... I am making more money with my faucets than what it cost me in coins, and i've been running them for 2 years now. For the security, you have to always be on top of things because, it takes more and more security and you have to update/upgrade your system regularely. Finally, in order to make money with a faucet, from my personal opinion, you got to have an ADSENSE account and put google ads on your site. If you don't have that, i think it will be almost impossible to make money with it.... Good luck |
