What makes you say that

Mintpal has not yet announced 2.0.2 wallet
can someone contact them to do so and also make sure that their wallet itself is updated

Mintpal does not enable staking and thus does not need to update.

Ok but would they not need to update to avoid forking or something

They also need to announce that a new version of the wallet (2.0.2) is available like Swisscex did

Guys, can someone summarise this PND coin jump ? Why PND jump from 4-10 litoshi to over 100 litoshi ? Please summarise it in short way. Thank you.

PND was a simple POW coin and @ 4 litoshi most of the dumpers who wanted quick money dumped and left the coin. The remaining PND community wanted to stick with the coin and wanted to find ways to improve it. The PND dev impressed with community's passion despite being so low priced decided to work on evolving the coin so it survives. A poll was held by the dev for asking what the next step should be. POS is what most of the community wanted and the dev promised to implement it. The news of all this development lead people into buying into the coin again since it wasnt going to die,  leading to a price rise.

And here we are with POS implementaton with the help of a growing dev team (of 7+ members)  that helped to implement  it and working on many more features

is it possible to permanently unlock the wallet?

This would be not having it encrypted in the first place.

I am on a really shit PC and keeping the wallet open for more than 12 hours is out of the question for me

So every time I restart the wallet the next day i would find it locked again, does that mean i would not be able to properly stake ever?

No, just leave it open as much as you reasonably can.  You may just take longer, but the older your stakeable coins are the more weight you will have so it will work out OK.

Ahh, I see

well it doesnt matter if it takes longer than most people, as long as I am able to validly stake

Unlocking the wallet each time would be a pain though

Can anyone provide detailed information about POS and what one has to do to maximise as much benefit as one can from it through Pandacoin PND

A lot of people (including me) are not fully aware about what/how POS works and what one should do

Leave you wallet open! theres nothing more too it... and UNLOCK your wallet if you have it locked...

go too your wallet----->>help----->>Debug Window----->>Console----->>walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout>

typ :     walletpassphrase Yourownpassword 999999999999

The 99999999999 is the amount of seconds too leave youre wallet unlocked for minting! (you have to unlock everytime you closed your PND wallet)

Ok so tried this 999 Billion seconds console command, but every time i restart my wallet i find it locked again

So basically that command is useless and i may not be able to stake i guess

well noone told me about the 999....... thing

I thought that it would suffice to do
Options -> unlock wallet -> for staking only

Isn't it equivalent?

It needs to be unlocked every time you restart the wallet if you do it through menu option

the setting of ~1 trillion seconds through console command will remove that need i think

~24 mil PND left that can be mined
~8 hours till we fully switch to POS
Price slowly rising

Lurkers you IN or you OUT?

Slow price increases because there is no support for BTC and t is because i BTC goes up.

I hold my pnd.

i was telling people to buy on before its too late, not sell

In other news, you guys think this is someone like woolong pumping or a hype whale?

could be a whale, could be multiple dolphins, could be speculators realizing its gonna go up after POS, could be genuine buyers wanting to invest in an altcoin

It could any, some or all of the above reasons

Another PUMP?

could be people just trying to get in before the POS starts

maybe some will dump after POS when the prise rises much more

Approximately 1.2 days remaining.

can you change it into "less than x hours remaining" even in the subject/title field each time you update it next
