We use nexus.io now, I own that domain. The OP hasn't been updated in many many years because KryptoKash tried to extort me to transfer it. He wanted a lot of money, nexusearth.com is our old domain we used, and again that was extorted by another member of the community that owned it (you guys know how crypto can be). When we didn't do what they wanted, they made it redirect to ethereum.org. Yes I am VidereLicet on Github, you can verify my commit history I've been developing this protocol for a long time. We made a new thread when KK tried to extort us, but the old thread still shows up on google as the one for Nexus. I'll go ahead and make a poll, happy to verify anything you guys need, I can make a record on nexus.io to prove I own that domain. You can see that is where our current website is.

Any other methods of verification please let me know, I've been around since 2014 and have developed a lot of serious technology to improve Bitcoin and the industry in general. It would be really nice to have our old thread back so I can keep this community up to date and keep a piece of our original history.

It looks like awareness growing of what has thus far been created.

We do our best to make sure the value of Nexus is based on awareness not on "hype" which is why we never tell people to buy or sell it. We are happy to help people learn about Nexus and crypto in general, but always want people to learn and become more aware of the nature of the industry through their own independent verification

With that being said, I couldn't state why the market is going up or down, that is by the hand and choice of those buying and selling on the market.

This is where we get to the double edged sword, let's say all keys had a mandatory "upgrade" this would mean that essentially every person "against their will" would be forced to make a new key pair, or at least their wallet code would be forced to make a new key pair. To create a new secured key is also going to have to require the key to be assigned into the blockchain with a balance that is associated with its previous key which would require the owner to make the signature creating a swarm of transactions and a big mess.

It also puts code into the core that essentially breaks any choice or privacy if your keys just randomly assign themselves to another key and make a transaction without you having any say in it. In my opinion, the best thing for Bitcoin now would be variety of keys available for choice so that people can slowly start the transition now rather than waiting until the eleventh hour.

Even if Bitcoin forked and updated their keys, all previous keys "including satoshi's" will be rendered vulnerable and if they are cracked someone would be able to dump those early BTC on the markets. Upgrading the keys requires you to also have all keys from previous moved into a more secure key.

No cryptonit, nPoS hashing is limited to an nNonce energy efficiency threshold so impossible to stake at high CPU. Your weight allows you to stake as fast as 4 hash/s.

Quantum computers will break a few things, but not break as much as reduce. Right now around 1000 qubits could break secp256k1 which is the curve group that is chosen for Bitcoin. This is a kolbitz curve over a 256 bit prime field. The strength of ECC is the discrete logarithm problem, the strength of RSA is prime factoring.

Now to know there are a few "theoretical algorithms" for quantum computers that can be used to "reduce the security of" said things. One of them is grover's algorithm.

This reduces hashing security by a factor of about 3, which weakens SHA256 to 85 bit security.
ECC gets hit pretty hard in this because quantum computers have the ability to "reduce" the discrete logarithmic problem with Shor's algorithm.

I built Nexus with 1024 bit SHA3 and sect571r1 ECC for the greatest quantum resistance. Higher bit length is exponential increase in security.

You are making this compilation a bigger problem then it is. If you post your full error as I already asked I can help you get it compiled. The reason you are having an issue from what I saw is that inttypes in cstdlib are missing a macro on CentOS.  If you continue to find trouble, giving up and then complaining is not the solution to solving your problem, further contact with the right people is what will solve your problem.

The LOI outlines the terms of our partnership and makes it official. It is not a "legally binding" agreement between parties since no funds have been exchanged. We will get to more paperwork when we move to Phase III, for now an LOI being signed is a huge step. This means that we have come to a mutual agreement on terms of the partnership, and will continue building it based off of these.

Since it is agreed and signed this moves the partnership into Phase II. If you continued reading past the point of the LOI in our newsletter, you will also see that we are preparing for a big PR push this Summer highlighting Vector, Nexus, and Galactic Sky.

I will always have a target on my back, which is something that I took into account when I took my name public, and generated a face value representation of Nexus. This is what I do around town with new investors who can have a hands on support, and face to face meetings.

I see the benefits of representing Nexus far outweigh the cost of a target being on my back. The potential benefits Nexus can and will have on the world is too great for me to discard because I want to save myself; some things are just bigger than ourselves, and that's where taking the chances to do such things can be worth more to the world than a life of solitude could provide for me.
