2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I get my bitcoins out? on: April 10, 2013, 09:15:10 PM
See, back up to $200. That was a great buying opportunity eh?

Don't panic. Keep calm and carry on. Bitcoin has every reason to shoot to the moon in value.

Keep focused on the long game.

This is a buying opportunity, not a selling one.

A bit coin can be only worth a total of $2000. Its part of the formula.

It's worth what someone will pay for it.

That can be any amount.

If it is capped at $2000, what would you say if I offered you $5000 for a bitcoin? If you said yes and we did a transaction, then how much was that bitcoin worth?

how many posts do you need to get access to post in the rest of the forum?

Taken from the sticky:
---------
Due to a mass of trolling, only established posters are able to post in non-newbie sections. You are considered "established" if you have spent 4 hours online and have made 5 posts (new topics or replies).

If you have really good posts, you can post a request for preemptive whitelisting in the appropriate topic.

Also:
- Newbies cannot upload their own avatars.
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Note that it may take up to 10 minutes for your PM or posting permissions to be granted. (The system automatically checks every 10 minutes and promotes people as appropriate.)

I loved the show. Please keep them coming.

I started looking for Bitcoin podcasts the past few days and there isn't much out there. Mostly just other financial podcasts that do an episode on Bitcoins. You guys sound great. I think you got something here.  Smiley

I think a lot of people are looking for the content you're presenting. There is a hunger for information about Bitcoin. Maybe you guys could go over how to get into Bitcoin for the newbie. I think it would be a very popular episode if you do.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / How many Mhash/s to turn a profit on: July 07, 2011, 11:20:33 AM
Is there any site that shows the average payout for a given Mhash/s rate at the current difficulty level?

I bought two coins yesterday to see how the whole process works. I'm surprised how cheap all of the transaction fees are.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Donations... really? on: July 07, 2011, 11:14:02 AM
Hi,

I really don't get how everyone is putting a "liked my post? donate!" in their signature. I mean, come on, wtf? Now you expect me to pay you because you voluntarily decided to express an opinion and it wasn't total crap?

What's with the greed, dude...

Seriously, how much do people expect to make this way? A dollar a week? 1.20$?

I propose an unconditional, unlimited ban for everbody having a bitcoin address in their signature!

Some posts are helping people make more money. Some of the solutions these people post took a lot of trail and error to learn.

Very excited about bitcoin. I hope that mining will stay profitable for a while.
