Unfortunately had to give up on soun.se (176.10.212.237). It's not a huge node - 7 MH/s, but unpaid VTC and MON balances keep going higher and higher and there's been no reply from the node operator. I'm not uptight about every share being immediately paid, but at my lower hashrate, this unpaid balance is significant:   There was a bug in the payout script they fixed recently it did not mark shares as paid and paid them again later. I do a git pull and restart the services once I see an update on github. All I do is change the config file with userames and passwords that is needed. Fee is set to 0.5% for merged mining The stats on soun.se is listing old paid shares as unpaid due to this bug. So in reality it list a significant amount of the coins this node mined and paid as not paid. I got an other interface that sems to be more accurate but I do think it is not 100% because of the bug. So far I have got around 1 VTC in fees total since I opend the node to every one and little over 1 MON. |

Yes some thing is wrong with the payout script I only got 0.6 VTC of 2 listed. I do not have that high hash rate my self thats why it's on net 3. I'm stoppping the payout script now. No more payments until I can see what happends and fix it. I recommend switching to an other node until it's done or user port 9174 for non merged mining (VTC only) you will get shares the normal way and it will take time to work up to excpected again. |

There might still be bugs in the payout script, it is compelty new after all.
Shares is logged well as far as I can see.
Need to read the code and understand it to see if there is a problem.
But I think the dev team is the ones with the best chanse to catch a bug since the know the code.

I run my own pool that is public and I recived my first MON 25h after I started mining, it take time people and in the beginning it was 1 MON per block. Now it's much higher and people get paid. Also VTC will go up but you will get paid what you mine. Unless you stop mining while having less then minimum payout. MON min 1.0 default. VTC min 0.1 default. Edit: The guy running http://www.cryptomasters.net/ made a simple script to check your outstanding VTC/MON for merged p2pool. He got it running and I got it on my node too. 176.10.212.237:9174 |

I've been merge-mining at p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk for ~15 hours with an average of 900kh/s. My only payout was 0.06VTC around noon.
I should have gotten around 2VTC and (a guess, i have no idea what the block reward for mon is/was) 1+ mon..
It is delayd by many hours, up to 24h before you see expected payout amounts. It's like that on all p2p merge mining pools. And with defaults you need 1 MON or 0.1 VTC to get paid. So the worst thing you can do after hours of mining is jump to an other pool because then it will be waisted shares. |

Also, how come there is no page to check statistics for it?
Nope. Blocks have not matured yet aparantly. You also need to get more then 1 MON before you get paid MON. And more then 1 VTC before you get VTC. (I think no one on my pool have been paid) So slow miners will havea a hard time. It's more like mining in a tradional pool. I learned this when I started looking at shairs being paid and how the stats tracking looked. |

The VTC you are reciving is from your old mining 6-12h ago. The new coins will come in 15 min I hope 118 confirms on the first VTC. How it works:
When merge mining VTC and MON you are connecting to a proxy together with every one else merge mining on that node.
The proxy keep track of your work but submit it under an address the node owns. So you should see an address with very high hash rate.
That address need 24h to get to full payouts like you did the first time you started p2p mining. So it will start slow and go up to expected payouts over 24h.
When a coin is found it's paid to a wallet on the node and need to mature (120 confirmations).
Once the coin is mature the payment script can see it and start to pay out to every one.
But there must be mature coins in both wallets so VTC is slowing every thing down right now. Most people should see the first payouts comming 5h after the first VTC block was found for the pool.
VTC block time 2.5min 120 confirm. 120 * 2.5 = 300min /60 = 5h.
Then there are the added time of 5 min that the payment script run on.
All the stats is tracked in a database and coins will be paid when they showup.
In theory we can get individual stats for merge mining I think, but I'm not that good with programing to bring them out in a easy to disply way.
My pool currently gout around 20 Mhash and 18 of those are merge mining. We only got 0.58981900 (91 confirms) + 0.69980379 (73) + 0.79761633 (44) in VTC in the wallet so far.
This is the same as 1 miner with 18 Mhash jumping on p2pool for the first time.

Everyone don't panic about not receiving payments. Remember, P2Pool usually takes 1-5 hours for payments (depending on 1st,2nd,3rd) and payments continue to hit your wallet 1-5 hours after you stop mining.
Regardless of the frequency of payouts, it should average out.
1 MON every 10 hours = 1 MON per 10 hours
.1 MON x 1 hour = 1 MON per 10 hours
Yes and please bear in mind the payouts system in place is VERY temporary and provisional - it's kind of an ugly kludge (as grateful as I'm sure we all are to Erik for all his hard work to get it done in such limited time) but the real goal has to be to get a proper, multi-sharechain p2pool implementation that can handle merge coins properly asap. If anyone fancies contributing! You are connecting to a proxy, there should be 1 address with very high hash rate. Your work is included in that one, you will get paid in a diffrent way then normal too. And it will take time before payouts come. |

What was your problem? It seem I have the same problem. You can just git pull to get the update Thank you, it sems to work now, it sees the mature coin and second coin is almost mature. |

We're on block 200 and still no payments from vtcpool

Yeah I seem to be having some issue with the payout scripts, the MON is being mined and shares are being tracked in redis, but the payout script we're trying to debug at the moment - I believe it may just be me having the issue. Might be best to move elsewhere while I debug it, we are still in the minimal reward (1 MON) starting blocks anyway, but obviously I will do my best to get it back running ASAP It might be more then you Boris. I see coins in the wallet and the payour script say it is tracking several thousand shares but it can not see the coins in the wallet? Did I config the payout script worng or can it be a bug some where? To every one mining at http://176.10.212.237:9555Looks like the payout script taracks shares. I looks like every thing works now on http://192.168.2.70:9174/static/ For merged mining connect to http://192.168.2.70:9555This is VERTCOIN NET 3. I will have to check that payouts work like they should. Will monitor as much as I can. Right now 1 MON is immature. And I guess we need to find a block in net 3 to see if VTC works right. where are you located ? Sweden (Northen EU) http://coin.cubeconnex.com/poollist/ check ping and use the pool closest to you. And MON is only active if you can connect to 9555, or other port if pool operator say so. |

I think it's 120 confirmations on MON, correct me if I'm wrong. But as soon as both coins is confirmed 1 MON will be paid from http://192.168.2.70:9174/static/Need 1 coin in wallet for transactions fees. No one will get any coins in there wallets until the first coins is confirmed. This is not normal p2pool mining it's proxy to server wallet and server does payouts from wallet ever 5 min if there are coins to pay. |
