We're on block 200 and still no payments from vtcpool
ummmm
Yeah I seem to be having some issue with the payout scripts, the MON is being mined and shares are being tracked in redis, but the payout script we're trying to debug at the moment - I believe it may just be me having the issue. Might be best to move elsewhere while I debug it, we are still in the minimal reward (1 MON) starting blocks anyway, but obviously I will do my best to get it back running ASAP

But what about VTC, are those coins being mined but also having problems with the scrypt?

I'm mining on my own p2pool node with my lowly 750ti at 150khs, been running since the around block 10 and we're now at ~200. I've still not go any blocks, is it worth sticking with my own node and solomining or is it time to move onto a proper node?
solo is waste of time for me also single card miner this p2pool works fine http://p2proxy.net/ you can check your stats as well here is an example of my stats http://p2proxy.net/stats/Vv3LtjECNEg3PoTzGjJ2uHnSzSw5JwupxoCorrect me if I am wrong, I believe p2proxy.net belongs to one of the Vertcoin developers. Can the Vertcoin dev team share out how to get the stats out? Please?

Yes, everything is being mined/tracked (VTC and MON), just that the payout script has choked on something, we're trying to figure it out right now. If it continues much longer I'll shut down my p2proxy to prevent people mining when payouts may be delayed, and they'll have to move elsewhere while we fix it.

I see coins in the wallet and the payour script say it is tracking several thousand shares but it can not see the coins in the wallet? Did I config the payout script worng or can it be a bug some where? To every one mining at http://176.10.212.237:9555Looks like the payout script taracks shares. But can not find coins in the wallet. 2014-05-02 21:55:35.003130 Available balance 0.00000000 MON, 0.00000000 VTC 2014-05-02 21:55:35.003228 Shares backlog 16365 2014-05-02 21:55:35.003297 Payable shares: 1 2014-05-02 21:55:35.003352 No user with a high enough balance or not enough coins to payout. 2014-05-02 21:55:35.005652 All transactions failed. 2014-05-02 21:55:35.005776 Retrying in 5 minutes. Might be good to switch back to standard port that should work as normal for VTC. 9174 on my pool or some where else, I do not want any one to lose coins.

Sgminer reports this on all my rigs every minute or two: getaddrinfo() in setup_stratum_socket() returned -2: Name or service not known I've changed the pool but it still appears. May it be a wrong/not working another pool from the sgminer.conf list or it comes from the pool i'm mining on?

Should perhaps mention (again) that if you're the only person mining on your node you can completely disregard the proxy solution, you don't need it. Just adding --merged http://monoclerpc:YOURLONGPASSWORDHERE@127.0.0.1:6888 to the p2pool command line is all you need . The same if I have N rigs on my personal node with personal network? Yes, vertcoin payouts will work as normal, but monocle coins will pool up in the nodes wallet. But you can make a simple "sendtoaddress" cronjob that runs every few minutes checking for matured coins if you want to send them somewhere else. Keep in mind that you're solomining monocle then etc I don't understand this part. I start p2pool with my VTC wallet address in the command so I know my vert will be sent there, but how do I get my monocle payments sent to my MON wallet? I thought having the MON address as my miner password was all I had to do?

Running a pool here - Seeing quite a bit of activity in the Mysql database Seeing 1 Mon in the wallet The python payout script is saying that no one has a balance to pay - I am still getting paid VTC pretty regularly though...

Assuming you're mining on your own private p2pool node, your VTC will be paid as usual, but you don't need to specify a MON address as password, and your MON will go straight into the mon wallet on the node itself, so you just need to periodically send it off to your desktop etc.

Yeah because MON has mandatory transaction fees (since it mines so fast - it'll all be mined in ~5.5 years) the scripts won't payout less than 1 MON so that the fees are a small proportion of the users payout. You can modify that option in the sharelogger config file if you want, but the default is 1.0 for this reason. So the payouts will run once a user has enough shares to have a total of >1MON payable. Especially since we're still in the first blocks when the rewards are low and ramp up to the full block reward by block 1000, it may take a while for any of your users to have the requisite balance payable.
