I had to download the Gulden wallet again to buy at this prices. Is witness sync the same speed as the previous not normal sync?
Witness sync is not yet fully activated, the out-rolling of it goes in phases. When it's fully activated sync speed of the full wallets should be majorly improved. Update of the looks/UI of the wallets is also coming soon with the Electron update |

Gulden is still the only country coin which is existing and still being developed to this day. I'm pretty sure Gulden will have major traction one day but for now it's up for the whales/community to push the price up

Florin has done well but the pumpamental effect is waning. The chance of another 100% gainz is wishful thinking in the short term. My best advise is taking some Florin profits and investing in Gulden where > 1000% gainz is likely this year.
1000% gains for Florin = $2300 on a exchange that is low volume, not going to happen.
The dream was investing in Florin at $4 , I agree the pumpamentals were strong buy at $4 but the gainz @$230 have already been fortified.

It's not nice to be a loyal supporter of Gulden for so long and to see it crash and burn. The Gulden community are good people, like Robby, really kind guy who tried his best. You might think it's only whales but it's also loyal community members who don't have much
bitcoin and trying to keep the price high enough for development. Whales are meant to be rich, but it can be whales who are loyal gulden supporters and are trying to carry the price to help development. I don't know if the Gulden dev reward is needed anymore with florin doing well, if that is the case

The Gulden dev reward is not needed to pay the developers because the Florin premine is worth 5 million Euro and only becoming worth more every day. Use the btc to buy Florin. That premine you are talking about has been sold to (a group of) investors and not anymore in the hands of the XFL dev team. We don't know for what price they have been sold but I do know that the xfl price was around $3 at that time. It seems to be one of the reasons the price has taken off (speculation of who are the investors?)
Has any thought been given to rebranding this coin into something with more of a international flavor. Country coins died out in 2016, the concept never worked because crypto is meant to be borderless.
People dont care about name. They care about price. Florin is also a country coin name and is doing fine. Some people drove Gulden price into the ground, and anybody who didnt switch to Xfl already is doomed. The currency name florin was used in many countries. I am saying this as a compliment to how long Gulden survived compared to the other country coins. Is half your battle not the name because the development team appears to be on top of it's game. It's not only the youtube channel which is dead. It's the whole project which is dead Honnestly why someone wants to invest in this dinosaure coin , which has nothing funny , useful , or trendy ? Just randomly pîck-up another coin , at least it will move up or down , but it will move ... Not a flat line like the gulden. Then you probably haven't looked at github activity. A new developer has joined the team and progression goes quite fast. If you don't see the role Gulden will play in the near future, doesn't mean there is none.
When they realized they putting in more effort then the founder they stopped the videos.
Rijk only focus is development, everything else has to come from the community. Correct to some extend. Any surplus of development reserve will be used for marketing and exchange listings. What about the money raised for the bitvavo funding going towards Rijk on condition he quits his job and makes his hobby Gulden, his job. It will be beautiful to have his talent on Gulden without other distractions.
My friend has purchased some Gulden, and more to come because of the cheap price.
Who is constantly suggesting Rijk has any other job outside of Gulden/Florin/Centure is spreading false information and I really don't know how people got into thinking that. Centure.com is his only business which includes everything regarding Gulden.com, Florin.org, Blockhut.com and development of the projects and wallets. |

Has this coin made any new development after the reward change, what is next?
No new development. NFT next? My brother wants to buy a million coins at this price but want to make sure development team still exists and plans for marketing, and is there plans to grow in the Asian market? The community is awaiting response from Bitvavo exchange (the biggest Dutch exchange) for the offer which has been crowdfunded. If Bitvavo is not willing to list Gulden, there are a few other options worth investigating. |

Currently lead developer is working mostly on completing the 'Witness Sync' development as it would be a major improvement for the wallets and is possible in a fully decentralized way thanks to the witness system. How do so many bad coins get more exchange listings. Coins without a solid development team and coins that get left for dead still remain on high profile exchanges. What are they doing that Gulden isn't doing?
Maybe because there is no 100% premine/instamine which is being spended on only marketing and exchange listings? |

I can only invest because I have full time career , is devs team also part time? From the development funding Malcolm and Rits are full time. Rijk has full time work at Apple and maintains the gulden website after hours. This is why he can't promote Gulden and market like a lot of other founders can, it's the same with the GRS team.
