1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend your Bitcoin, don’t just hoard it on: Today at 03:33:55 PM
Of course, there has to be a balance between income and expenses, especially if I spend the entire payment I was given, then I will not be able to hold any part of the Bitcoin in the future. However, like you, I keep a large portion of my weekly payment in Bitcoin and spend some of it to support my family. However, if you want to hold for the long term, you cannot hold the entire balance, but rather you need to keep some Bitcoins for spending, which is an important requirement.

What do you mean by not holding your entire balance? Wink You mean the case when you get BTCs for the most of your salary?

It looks like it, but why use all the salary to buy Bitcoin when he is already going to spend some part of it? If anyone is collecting salary to buy Bitcoin for long term holding isn't it better to buy the percentage you plan to hold and use the rest for bills payment? Some people are not making sense here sorry to say.

Another one Grin

Rich people and giant businesses are busy stacking Bitcoin, buying as much as possible to become their business and company backbone and someone is talking about spending Bitcoin as money, don't we have fiat for that? It is only those that have plenty of Btcoin that always feels like spending Bitcoin to be honest.

You will never see someone who want to be successful in the future spending their Bitcoin for any reasons, if they need something badly they are better off using fiat via their debit card, Bitcoin was never created to kill fiat, many people are so delusional about this and it disgust me.

Scarcity via supply and mining is what got us here, not people using their Bitcoin in Starbucks or on Amazon, there are so many nonsense that people are shilling online, it is left for everyone of us to choose wisely.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NY Senator Wants to Tax Crypto Miners – Will They Just Move Out? on: Today at 09:49:59 AM
This looks like someone is enjoying mining while others are suffering for it, is it a must to mine Bitcoin? It is already too expensive to keep mining Bitcoin and the returns aren't even that great anymore, any country that doesn't have some almost free way of generating electricity they should not even allow any miner to run in such country.

Today, there are micro hydropower systems which use flowing water to turn a turbine and it offers 24/7 power sourcse as far as a river or stream is available nearby, another great option is solar panels, there are too many cheap solar panels in the world today, China once powered a whole city using solar panels only, and they are manufacturers themselves, tell me how it won't benefit them if they decide to start mining Bitcoin.

These are the good examples of countries that should be mining Bitcoin, it is no suitable for all countries as some are already asking citizens to pay high amount of money to use electricity, mining won't make any sense in such country, wind and solar energy seem to be the best option now available.

Yes, this is why I don't have much faith in this security-updates/antiviruses and stuff like that to keep me secure, the viruses or anything else malicious for that matter is in circulation first before it's discovered, and by time it's discovered, often damage is already done.
I also do not have antivirus on my device because I do not have believe in them except someone is a newbie. About the common malware, I prefer to prevent them by not downloading files, apps and also not going for any links that I do not know. These have been working for me for years. Sometimes, antivirus may be useful, if not all the time. Knowing the cause of how devices are getting the malware and avoid them is better. I also do not think antivirus can help against this malware. What that can help is cold wallets.

Is your antivirus a premium antivirus? When I was a newbie with computers I always avoid paying for premium antivirus, McAfee was still very much alive at the time, thinking the free ones should still work but they have their limits as they only detect weak and small viruses, the day I tried a premium antivirus was when I knew that they are badass.

Premium antivirus should not be underestimated, they work very aggressively, but today things have become even more sinister with hacks and malwares, some attacks don't look like one, they still sneak into your PC and do their damages with nothing to alert the user, for example those games on steam network that are infiltrations to steal data.

While the installation of the game is ongoing, I expect the antivirus to give an alert but the games successful installed as if nothing is wrong with the files of the games.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Psychology of HODLing, Why Many Don't Sell Even After Life Changing Profits on: October 02, 2025, 08:00:55 AM
Many didn't go in BTC because they simply didn't have much faith in it.

And when they did their research or went back to it - BTC was already big enough  Wink

The best thing is that we can still go for BTC and achieve our targets.

The biggest lesson with not only Bitcoin but digital currency in general is to avoid selling all at once because they are in big profit, some one who have 100 BTC in 2021 and sold them for 60,000 each must have thought he is wiser, if you have that much there is nothing that will hurt you if you leave 10 behind for maybe in the future the value can double again.

If fear of missing out is a real thing why aren't people doing this? They always sell everything like its all over, whereas this whole crypto thing is always cycle base, Bitcoin had proven it worth countless time, it is only a fool that will DCA and when it is the time to take profits they dump all they have.

I will keep taking profit but I will never be out of Bitcoin for any reason.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: How I see Bitcoin at the moment on: September 30, 2025, 04:30:57 PM
This is my highest level of confusion, I have speculated upity for bitcoin for October but it seems I was wrong all the time, this time I don’t even know what to expect yet I still believe that we are not going all bearish in this time , we have less than 3 months to go for the end for the year so bitcoin could still do something different from what majority is saying online.

While the majority expect an uprise in the next year, some people say 2026 will put us into a bearish market. The four-year cycle is now becoming unpredictable. We are in a bull market without an altseason. The altcoins have been dumping as fuck while Bitcoin passed 120K multiple times and stayed over 120K for a long time. Many altcoin investors are now stuck with their investments. I personally am waiting for the alt season, which is unlikely to happen in this cycle.

So you are not alone who is in confusion at this moment. I have actually already spent half of my Bitcoin investment elsewhere. Probably, I will give up on altcoins too if nothing changes in the next few months. I will wait till mid-2026 for an altcoin season.

It seems you are good with chart reading, if I am correct you should know that altcoin season have always look like it will never happen, same as 2021 and 2017, even before 100k Bitcoin it felt impossible and that is why many people still believe that Trump getting elected was why Bitcoin made it this far, either true or false I don't care but one thing is certain, altcoin season has always been hopeless at first, it seems people forget things too fast, I have good past memories, 2020 sucked so bad that it felt like the world was coming to an end, but I don't want to argue, altcoin season might not happen this time like you said, and for the fact that you said this is why I believe it will happen, we need more people to feel like it is the end though.
8  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Don't make this mistake like I did. on: September 30, 2025, 03:49:48 PM
Are you new to hardware wallet? You spoilt it yourself, because to upgrade a Ellipal hardware wallet you need an sd card, and while the updating is going on you can plug the hardware wallet into your wall socket, on their official website it says users can charge their wallet with a power outlet during the update.  Undecided

What and what have you done before buying another? You could have contelact the team via email, they will respond to you fast, you have a bricked device, maybe some button press combination can somehow unbricked the device, who knows? Throwing the device aside and ordering another feels like you have the money to throw around.
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining for beginners on: September 30, 2025, 03:15:39 PM
what is the best mining strategy?

i wanna start
The cheaper the electricity, the more serious the strategy Smiley
Miners have a joke: if electricity is free, you won't incur losses.

So true, Bitcoin miners are always profitable if the electricity is free, they are not profitable only if all the profit is going into grid bill settlement.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are we finally going to see a new altcoin season on: September 30, 2025, 02:17:05 PM
So is altcoin season going to happen this time? This period feels like 2020 over again where all hope seem lost with altcoins, do you still believe that altcoins will have their time in this Q4 of 2025 and early 2026 maybe? What is your opinion? What do you think will happen?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell Shib now? Am holding on: March 30, 2023, 04:21:04 PM
I am hearing some rumour about Shibarium, I heard this is a layer 1 for shiba inu and a few new projects will be running on Shibarium soon, they classified the projects as high-end crypto projects, I was expecting some inu projects of cos but thats not the case as per what I heard, can anyone confirm this rumor?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: March 30, 2023, 03:08:53 PM
Boomber, Arb will give better returns to investors just like how solana rose up to 250$ per coin in 2021, and this Arb is just a better project in my opinion, if anyone is using Bitcoin and ETH to get some Arb they are still in the good hands, Arb will do very satisfactorily.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment involves being realistic, doesn't it ? on: March 28, 2023, 07:04:34 PM
It's fine to take profits if a pump takes place because the correction will happen sooner or later but we all have our plans, some plan for the short term, and others plan for the long term, so even if there is a small pump it makes no difference for long term holders, they will rather prefer to hold than taking short term profit.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is crazy on: March 28, 2023, 06:17:21 PM
So hilarious, this is simple arithmetic, how can Shiba inu be traded for 50$ per token after doing a 1000x in previous bull market? Do you know how many tokens shiba has? Even if the dev burn 50% of shiba inu max supply the value can never reach 1$ talk less of 50$, this is the most hilarious thing I've read about today.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoins to Buy During Dip on: March 28, 2023, 05:03:25 PM
I'm buying algorand, flow, Arbitrum and secret network right now, my altcoin portfolio is more than just one, I have good numbers of altcoin that I believe in, if one can do 10x I have already recover all my capital back, the rest are free money, if you diversify your position you will be fine.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: March 27, 2023, 06:38:50 PM
You have to rely on the team to pay up that's why I don't like altcoins that aren't escrowed and held by the BM himself, but some projects are just worth giving a trial because you can never tell maybe they will pay bounty hunters or not, if you are not ready for some disappointment do not join a alt bounty because not all of them will keep their promise.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: March 27, 2023, 05:55:50 PM
Be confident when holding your altcoins, a bear market will try to make you sell for easy quick bucks, bad news will be constant to cause some panic, if they don't do this how can they steal your coins from you with some little amount of money, Bear market is meant for the strong 💪  not the weaklings.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Predict $20,000 for dogecoin in 5years time on: March 27, 2023, 05:35:04 PM
Then expect Bitcoin to be trading at a million dollars for Dogecoin to see such growth, but I don't see this happening in 2024 or 2025, if your prediction for Dogecoin is over 1$ in two to three years then you will probably get a disappointing result, believe me, 20k on Dogecoin is impossible for now.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: March 24, 2023, 06:10:47 PM
You have taken unnecessary risks on projects that doesn't matter anymore, only tron project is fair on your list OP, I don't think the rest will survive this bear market, it would have been better if you took the risk on Bitcoin, as you can see, it's the only rightful performing digital asset right now, I would have exchange those tokens to Bitcoin or even Arbitrum, this project has some potential.
20  Bitcoin / Legal / The war is on on: March 24, 2023, 03:06:42 PM
Coinbase has assembled their team of avengers to go and face the SEC and prove to them that proof of stake projects are not a security, how do you think this will end?  The team consists of six different tough attorneys, will this end in Success or failure? So far, why is coinbase the only one who was forced to assemble to battle?

It's like the whole crypto space is yelling out to Coinbase to save them.  Cheesy
