It's good that dev will release the code, so supercoin goes back to the open source based coin. What worries me is that lacking of a qualified dev will not help supercoin in a lead position. Other hype coins can easily copy the code and sell their "stories". Only with a strong dev who is capable of taking over can keep the leading edge of the supercoin. I don't see any now. If none, then what's the point to release the code to other coins?? better keep the code secret.
I guess that is why the dev did so in the first place. Maybe the dev should not release the code until a new, preferably full-time developer/team takes over. Or, the old team could step back up and take Super to the moon  Let's face it, the original devs are the most qualified to maintain & continue to develop the technology. The issue has always been lack of public awareness and refusal to accept options that bring more attention to Super. On a positive note: The wallet is staking like crazy(I'm getting 30 Super per hour) and currently showing 7 anonymous nodes available for SuperSend anon transactions. Well believe me, if I had time to continue developing, I would do it. No one has more affection to the coin, as I am the one who spent most time on this coin, not spent the time to talk, but countless hours to design and code and test the coin. But unfortunately I have my work and my responsibilities. So I can not continue developing the coin. What I want: 1. make supercoin back to open source based coin 2. hope some qualified people from community can take over the code As some people expressed the concerns about other coins copy-paste the code, I share the same concerns, that's why I did not publish yet the code. I am in a dilemma now. If no qualified people to take-over, the publication of code will do no good to supercoin, but I also want the supercoin be open source, so community can maintain and develop the code. So this is my decision: a. I won't publish the code until community have someone qualified to take over the code. b. If there's a qualified person (need to have a track record), I will send him the code 1 week before I make it publicly in git. +1 |

PoW blocks were minted and there is no way to mine that blocks by any of pools ( I have configured one and I've got massage "No more PoW blocks") so give up with that idea. 2. Only way now is to "mine"="generate" PoS blocks which are generated by network (wallets) the key to generate PoS by You are: a. generate at least 2 adresses in your wallet b. transfer to them a least 500 coins c. wait 1 day and network will generate PoS by use Your coins and addresses 3. That's mean that SUPER coin is not dead in fact it will be mine in diffrent way (PoS blocks) and one thing is important: we have brilliant technology (Supersend) potential with supersend technology 4. We have got nodes, coins and wallets on diffrent platforms and now its time to use that in a right way ... in fact I have to repeat and ask You quastion once again: What do we need for coin to be successed ? a. networks with nodes (we have) b. wallets on diffrent platform (we have) c. coins (we have) d. advertisiment team and stuff !!! we do not have enough so we should do all we can to promote that coin and that technology everywhere in social networks.. etc... etc... 5. Leave developers away they do their job .... SUPER is like BTC leaved alone by architect ... and it goes in his own way .... 6. Promote, promote, promote !!! all we can do for that coin 7. Website: needs updating, still mentions that supercoin will host a mini-IPO,it doesn't contain the new wallets or nodes, links are broken etc (may cause confusion)
Twitter needs updating, only a few tweets a month is not going to be enough.
Thread title: needs updating, people have upgraded to new wallet weeks ago. Prime advertising space is being wasted, could mention something about Multisig, gathering interest.
Road Map: needs updating, no dates are given past Aug 25th, a month ago now. Longer this goes un-updated, the more investors will be weary
Community: needs updating, self explanatory, majority of us have no idea if anything is being progressed in the last month.
Seems to be a common theme here, but I can't quite put my finger on it...
Lets think for a second: If you were an outside investor who read a new article on supercoin, came to this thread and saw a road map which stopped at Aug 25th, the official twitter account with 2 tweets in 2.5 weeks, a website with outdated information and broken links, and a frustrated community who has received no updates or future plans in a month. Would you jump at the opportunity to invest a substantial amount, or would you have second thoughts? These are problems that need to be addressed.
Maybe another member would be willing to take over the website and official twitter and have it more active.

We made a deal with fairglue about 3 months more for covering block explorer fee. So we will use 5500 super from the community donation wallet for this purpose whats left can be spend for promos & marketing.
