Absolutely! What can people trial the service with? Can they send you fiat and then you send them a pair of socks or something?

No doubt you have a lot of interesting interviews, but I have to admit that I didn’t like one of them, and that is the one that promotes Bitcoin Cash. Most people have not forgotten what happened when the people behind that project tried to impose that coin as the only and real BTC, as they do today.
The missing question in that interview is "why did you choose Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin"?
Yeah that's a fair point. If I ever do an update I'll ask that question. I actually spoke to that person if I think its the one you are reffing to (I have interviewed 2 BCH folks) and if it is that person I actually spoke with them extensively on the phone and the answer kind of made sense to me at the time anyway. But I'm not one to judge man, I just do the interviews
Have not been around this space in a while. For anyone interested, maybe nobody, lol. I just secured the domain https://cryptofireside.com/ which I am pretty friggin stoked with to be honest! When does that ever happen! I've been buying domains since the mid 2000's and thats almost never happened, meant to be maybe Anyway the project is going well, lots more interviews, lots more people reading. We are up to interview #27 and we will hit #30 in about a week or two and then onto #100 I am grateful for the support here by the way everyone!

This is super interesting! I might hit you up actually! And perhaps we can also do an interview about it on Crypto Fireside, it's free and might get you some more exposure!

Are posts allowed to be bumped guys?
As stated in the rules, a bump is allowed once every 24 hours, noting that the old bump should be deleted after that. It would be good to get acquainted with the other rules, you know, so that there would be no surprises afterwards 13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. 21. Old bumps should be deleted.
Thanks man, sorry been busy and away for a while. The offer still stands guys, I have some stories I am working on and have a pretty constant supply but I am always looking for more. Give me a bell if interested gang. Here is an example of a recent re-published story that was originally published on Medium https://cryptofireside.com/ that I just uploaded to Hacker Noon https://hackernoon.com/the-story-behind-the-worlds-first-bitcoin-casino

Jus thought I'd bump and say that I just finished interviewing one of the coolest people around. He's 70 years old, he's a musician, writer, poet, actor, talk show host, singer, song writer, plays multiple instruments, artist and now he's minting NFTs. The guys name is Smokey Miles, he also goes by Count Smokula. Check it out if you are interested. The story also gets a little crazier because the guys that put him onto me and also the same people who are helping him mint his NFTs are the family and kid behind the Balloon Boy Scandal from a few years back! Wild. To make it crazier Smokey knows Lloyd Kaufman from TROMA Entertainment really well and I grew up obsessed with The Toxic Avenger...turned out Lloyd liked our interview and so he re-tweeted which doesn't sound like much but it's just one of those things. Anyway, check it out. https://cryptofireside.medium.com/how-a-496-year-old-vampire-is-selling-nfts-9e526b9381fa

Hi guys, I started this other thread a short while ago explaining my new little side project called Crypto Fireside https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5343338.0I interview folks from the crypto-space about their projects, things that they are building or working on and in particular I have a focus on the person and their story. I try to build a bit of a founder/origin story because personally that is what I am interested in but also because I think the content space in our funny world is filled to the brim with content about the tech and the money already. You can check the blog out here https://cryptofireside.com/I get anywhere from a few hundred views per article/interview all the way up to tens of thousands, due to many factors. The interviews are usually re-published on the Hacker Noon tech blog and gain another few hundred to few thousand views. If you would like to be interviewed you can hit me up here or on Twitter https://twitter.com/CryptoFireside_ or Reddit https://www.reddit.com/user/AftonCoger This is completely FREE, I do not charge for this as I think it would ruin it. Yes I know I have put it in the services section, because, well, it is a service, just a free one Cheers guys

I don't think anyone here really knows to be honest. China likes to play games, that we know. It'll be interesting to see but my gut tells me they are preparing for some more funny buggers, who knows.

I think first we have to define "long term". Personally, and I know this may not be that popular on this forum but I don't see Bitcoin proving its value (long term) for some time because we have not see enough attacks, or real life events unfold. For example what if one of these global cyber events happens and it renders many peoples Bitcoin investments for a long period of time. Its just a thought.
Short term Bitcoin has proven itself.
I dunno, guess we have to wait and see.

I think it depends where you are from.
In the US I believe the IRS follows you everywhere.
In Australia if I am correct it is in simple terms based on residency so if I live in Aus but have a wallet setup in say Germany and I use a German exchange, I don't think it matters. But don't listen to me :|

You pivoted from talking about projects to talking to people behind the project. This is a pretty cool idea. I think a lot of the earlier projects started out from within Bitcointalk forum. You will probably find a lot of these people from the Altcoin ANN section. While getting general crypto people to talk is great, it'd be exceptional if you can get hold of one of those anonymous scammer devs who keep pumping out shitcoin projects to rug people. Besides that, if you can get some of the OGs from here to interview, that'd be nice too. From community mods, tech guys to constant trolls, BCT has a lot of interesting crypto characters. Best wishes for this.. People make projects, people make everything and so I am interested (personally) in the people behind the project because, well, they made it. I want to know how and why they did it, what makes them tick, get a bit of an origin story, some founder insight, that kind of thing. So far people seem to enjoy it too. I absolutely would LOVE to speak to people from this forum, OG's included and yes also legit ruggers and scammers (I did interview a "scammer" but it is just a meme token, legit cool guy BTW). If you know anyone, point them my way. Thanks for the interest.

Hello I am also new here! Just looking to get more information about women in crypto/NFT and trying to connect with the community for our gaming crypto project. It would be nice to hear from your perspective about females in gaming and crypto. I really enjoyed reading your article. Hope we can connect. Hey man, for my first interview with ProfessorPonzo (I think he/she now goes by ProfessorKronos) I asked if he/she is a girl because many people in the chats were saying that they we're. It'd be pretty cool if they were but I really don't know. https://cryptofireside.medium.com/crypto-fireside-1-professor-ponzo-the-mysterious-developer-behind-many-defi-3-0-projects-97adfed51c2c

I find it hard to believe he actually affects the markets. Doge, maybe a little, but Bitcoin and the entire trillion dollar crypto market? C'mon seriously? I think you'll find it is more likely institutional investors, people and firms you have likely rarely heard about. The media like to pump him up and he just accepts it because it is free advertising for his companies. Don't you think if it wasn't working Tesla would gag him? And if he was actually manipulating the markets so that the big boys lost out that they would not stop him? C'mon.

Hey, Great job Man...
It will be a blast if you can conjure up some interviews with the controversial issues and characters in the Crypto scene, like Gavin Andresen, Mike Hearn, Roger Ver and John McAfee to get the behind the scene information on their latest projects and also some answers on why they turned against Bitcoin and why they tried to sabotage it. (The real reason, not the financial reasons)
I think the most interesting interview can be with Andreas Antonopoulos (The person behind the Legend) .... because people just love this guy!
Good Luck!!
The end goal is to interview Satoshi

I spoke to a very interesting DeFi dev as part of an interview article series I run on my blog Crypto Fireside that said she/he thought that there would be a 90% reduction in value this year or shortly after...who knows.

Good luck with your blog. I really like the presentation and it does have a personal feeling to it showing that you really are interested in the people in the space. I'm glad whenever I see people trying to create something cool and that's what I see here. You clearly have put a lot of work into this and it shows. I'm looking forward to reading more interviews in the future and hope you stick with it while maintaining the same fun and personal energy.
Thanks OG, yeah I am working on a couple at the moment, always try to keep a pipeline going We just hit the first page of Hacker Noon with an interview I did earlier with a young guy that started a Cardano Stake Pool. You work with a crypto casino right?
