Italy won at last, heart attack penalties. I thought Italy has lost when the second penalty was lost, but it later happened that the penalty shootout ended Italy 3 : 2 England. I think Italy deserves this.

If to draw conclusion from shots on target, ever since the match started, England only had 1 while Italy had 5, also England had 37% ball possession while Italy had 63%. This is an indication that even if any of both country will score, Italy has the highest chance, but maybe this match will still lead to penalty.

Italy had such the advantage of possession of the ball because England was more focused on defending, and they didn't attack much in the first half. Anyway, the match is over, and Donnarumma won this cup for Italy. Congrats

Really heart attack penalties, you said it nice! It was very tense! But in the end, the Italians are the champions! Congrats! I think they deserved the title, they played well, and definitely, they had more practice with penalties, a third game won on penalties!
Forza Italia! After all the majority here supported the Italian team, maybe they won because of that!

Never ask the Italians what you have done, but ask them what you brought to the house.

Congratulations to Italy, they were the best team over the whole tournament and definitely deserved to be in the final as they had very hard opponents in the round before. To beat England in a Final at wembley in front of 60.000k english fans was really a great achievement from them. I also have to say Donnarumma is a real class act. He just stood there on the line waiting for the penalty and did no crazy jumping around or talking to the players like Pickford did. Pickford was probably the worst goalkeeper of the tournament and England did a great job to reach the finals despite having him as goalie.

Congratulations to Italy on their victory at EURO 2020 which ended in a penalty shootout with a 3-2 advantage, a very tense match and I was very satisfied and entertained watching it.
and England also played very well and won 2nd place, unfortunately for Rashford who rarely played and when he played he missed a penalty.

Tragic ending for the English team, I hope they can quickly forget it. Playing at home and losing the lottery when the whole country is waiting for victory - such an event can become a serious psychological trauma for any player, I hope this will not happen.

What a game it was! I absolutely enjoyed it. Italy managed to find the equalizer in the second half and 90 minutes ended 1-1. After not seeing any goal in the extra time, it was time to go directly to the penalty shoot-outs. Before the game, I really wanted to see this and I got what I wanted. Both goalkeepers were really good in the penalty shoot-outs. Saka had the biggest responsibility to keep his team's hopes alive but he failed. And Italy were the winner in the Euro tournament after many many years.

I'm really sad for England as they were so close to win a title but couldn't make it. I congratulate both of these teams for putting a great effort into the game. Honestly, I think that England deserved to win the title in terms of performance in general.

Italy win EURO 2020 final on penalties!

What a drama! First time since 1968, Italy has won the Henri Delaunay Cup. A well-deserved victory, I would say. They recovered from the earliest goal in the history of EURO finals, and dominated the competition throughout.

I can only feel sorry for young Saka. I can't even imagine how he must be feeling under such pressure.

I feel for Saka...  And why did Southgate let Sancho and Rashford take those pens and not players with more experience like Sterling or Grealish?  And Sancho and Rash came on at the last minutes of the match...  They haven’t really warmed up.  Dumb decision.

it's hard to predict who's going to win already with just random friendly matches they played recently, but i think Italy can make it this year and win the title, it's a gut feeling but also they've been playing really well in their last matches  with a clean sheet in a lot of their matches, i put them first to take the title.

well i guess i was right after all, too bad i didn't have a lot to gamble with at the time, Congratulations to Italy for winning this title, this generation of players truly deserve it, the last time they won euros was back in 1968, so it definitely meant a lot for them and their whole country.

It was really nervy during the penalties, Donnarumma was the hero yet again. It was a deserving trophy for the Italians but England do deserve some credits too, they've had a great tournament as well.

Italy emerging victorious comes as no surprise though, England lasting till the penalty shootout is. Left for me, I had hoped that the game be long won from the 2nd half at least but, it had to go to an extra time and then penalties. Its really unfortunate for the last 3 players in the persons of M. Rashford, J. Sancho and B. Sarah, the Jorginho miss should have provoked the best in them but unfortunately,  the tension in the moment was so over whelming for them that some how, they tend to give the goal keeper G. Donnarumma a good save. Pickford did great too, presenting them a good chance back into the game with 2 amazing saves. The English team were not meant to win this one. Its all Italy, congrats to Italia.

Its tough for England to lose on penalties, maybe the last two substitutions were on too late.
