1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: June 19, 2015, 12:08:50 PM
Hi alpho2k,

in a short answer yes and no.

initial rls will depend on several components of the overall project working together as-one. (as per that article URL posted previously) which highlights some of the complexities involved in a project of this kind. to incrementally release part of a project would be the equivalent of building a house without the cement as an example, and then once the cement truck arrives we remove all the bricks and start again.. type-of-thing.. Systems are reliant on other subsystems. HTTPS stuff, the RPC stuff and the Nodejs/NWJS stuff which in turn relies on the mongo/Relic realtime & DB stuff.. so its like the middleware needs somewhere to get routed to and is kind of a way to do it incrementally after initial release has shipped...  With P2P apps I cannot rely on LocalStorage as an example, I cannot rely on cache and write backs as another example these can all be leveraged in their own rights in certain sections of this project where applicable but the front/backend and client NWJS apps all need a place to pull/push their data to/from without the backend for example where will the rest of the apps pull or push to??

Without the endpoints to direct data to or gather data from; if released without the complete picture would be like plugging in a power socket into a generator without any fuel. The lights are on but nobody's home kind of deal.

Its like having a altcoin with only the nodes working on testnet and no wallet.. that's probably the closest analogy I can come up with if I release it now.

They all rely on each other in some shape or form. The client and AM-X backend needs to know what block it's on to interact correctly with the network. And the client needs to also know which blocks to act upon/trigger as per events. if the BC is not talking to lets say the client then the client will have nothing to do but just to look pretty and wait for instructions. See where I am going with this.. All are crucial, all are interdependent but yet self contained in their own-rights as to be counted as separate applications, which all sounds contradictory but still true.

There are methods which could be exposed internally, re-adjusted based from the custom aerome daemon build i done to allow for a very very basic example but its a waste of time and would look completely shit. not worth the time to do imho. The parts which are causing delays at the present moment are in the actual headers packets transmitted from the network to the client. To handle the SContracts data packets I needed to adjust how the client consumes normal blocks sent from the network and insert some extra frames which allows for the BC to manage the Smart-contract data-flows. its a pain in the ass as I do not have any reference to go by/from as a working example. The offerings which are out there presently only explain to me a limited portion of the problem and not the complete picture which I am having to work through. NXT have used a similar mechanism to accomplish what I am in the process of achieving so that helps a great deal. I am relying on my memory from the JEE stuff I used to do to work out / reverse a section from their work and port it over to AM-X specifically the SC portion which is only a few lines of code.

In answer to your query alpho2k yes it can be released incrementally which is what I am going to do but the whole picture needs to be clear AND functional prior to public  release. Everything is fully modular as is the way in modern coding practices separation of concerns but there are unfortunately exceptions to this rule as in this case.

The process will definitely require input from the community as its for you guys which its being built for AND this process WILL undoubtedly require changes to me made. I suspect this process will continue indefinitely until we reach a milestone which clears the backlog of requests and features work in a manner which all we like..

X_____ stop your stupid comments it's pathetic..
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: June 14, 2015, 03:34:18 PM
Yeah your quite right CryptoJohn a few idiots indeed.. I have been watching how you have been reacting to my absence in the community in a manner of speaking.. I dont need to say it again but for the 100000th time.. I am not going anywhere.

AM is my community, in fact it's OUR community. Lack of updates etc does not = No progress.. nor, does it mean I am AWOL, scammer, etc, etc.

Its interesting to see the dynamics change/shift by some of the wishy-washer so called AM members but the true followers and believers in AM have stuck to their guns EVEN IN MY QUIET TIMES.

There is only one of me majika, Who will not lie, cheat or allow idiots to fuck this community/thread up with crap.

As for the aforementioned alt-projects which may sound similar to AM-X well thats not the case at all.. Yes there are very skilled guys over there some of whom I chat to regularly which is what many of you guys fail to realize is that altcoins projects/leaders are actually quite a close knit bunch. There are of course the odd few who wish to remain in secrecy regarding their works I am to a certain degree the same. but my point is that ALL cryptos share a similar heritage, they are just implemented slightly differently. In terms of Technology NGA are starting to see a divergence away from this heritage in the same way Novacoin and the ilk started a similar thing back in the day with PoS related work.

Don't think for a hot-second I will piss off and leave without completing my work, thats a given. Also, I am responsible enough of a person to ensure that OUR project will continue to live on NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.

So, to all the alarmists out there please just chillout. Continue what you were doing before you began to freak out and just relax.

X123._get_a_life.com I kindly ask you to gtfo back to your own coin. go fud there. You have had ample opportunity to contribute here in a mature, healthy manner however you fail to be polite, respectful in anyway shape or form. You just talk garbish, lies and pure crap.

dev still active? Might be a coin worth holding.

I think if there is one coin worth holding, it is this one.

Yes he is active and he check thread everyday Smiley

Basically he is working on the AeroME Project and we are waiting for the big news, Holding my coins since very long time because AeroME is something different from other altcoins Smiley Can't wait to see AeroME platform.

Common Majika give us good news  Wink

No he does not check every day. Be 100% about my statement! He just does not care. This little shit stole all our BTC!

Who do you think del's your posts dick head.. ofc im here.. ALL day every day!!!

AeroME Community,

Just a quick Hello, alpho2k makes a good point but please all remember I'm not going anywhere. Its also not all about me. Its about the purity in cryptos and what cryptos stands for.

I am here to do a job and that is what I shall do.

I do not consider the term "Job" the operative word here as I prefer a more of descriptive interpretation which better reflects my task as being:- A pleasurable endeavour with a definite end result.!

Kwattro, you have made several good points and you are correct in how the younger of the community are a lot more "skittish" as opposed to the more seasoned of us here. When I am quiet it doesn't mean much to the core of us who have been around for the longest but the new members are yet to understand I maybe quiet but far from inactive.

Have you checked the servers last 48hrs ? They have been upgraded and patched. I am always working and hardly ever stop !

As per here:-
http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2015-0291

And here:-
https://gist.github.com/mdpye/f062cacb8a9d5e3d102c

The price is/was good, although this depends on your perspective. IT HAS BEEN LIKE THIS MANY TIMES BEFORE. I suspect there will be many more times where the market pumps AM but again I keep a healthy distance from price stuff.

I'm only mentioning it as I know its on everyones minds just like when will the platform get released. But you should know better than to ask about specifics. If you truly believe in a project invest whether it's financial or by other means, if not, thanks for your interest and good luck in your endeavours kind of thing. Im not here to be a profiteer, nor am I here to enable others to make crazy "stacks" off the back of the information provide here.

Out of all this craziness which are the crypto markets I hope to stand for some kind of balance to stand up to the excessive greed and other noxious, corrosive and contagious shit which speculation and wealth brings. I will not add fuel to the fire and it is not what I am about. Its hard to achieve the level of impartiality which I am trying to attain whilst being so deeply involved and an integral part of what it is I am to remain impartial to. Its what makes the man on how he steps up to the challenges which he faces NOT how many "zeros" you have on your bank balance..

With respect to my activity/inactivity in the community should no means reflect what is actually happening in reality. I arrived from the shadows and sometimes go back into the shadows but I am always here dedicated to the cause.

This "thing" is bigger than just me and you OR what the price was yesterday, what the price has reached today or what it may be like tomorrow..

Its about making this all about the benefits of NGA crypto platforms, mass adoption of disruptive technologies into mainstream and creative solutions which can then be leveraged to solve many problems which have traditionally stood in the way..

I have said this many times in the past; more so in our old thread where you can find out a lot of information about my underlying motivations AND how I perceive this technology and where I can see its true applications in the real world.

We are a verified market on Bittrex our Blockchain is mature our history and heritage spans one of the longest running project in the altcoin world and our community is legendary just look at the reaction last week!

Many of you fail to realize but WE have value beyond simply market price moves and this is the key factor which I am aiming to pull us away from. Neoclassical economics models should not be the primary way which we apply value to crypto's, hypothesised on speculative reasoning and abstracted away from the true value of our stated objectives and goals.

So much time is spent on the big things when sometimes its the small things which are often overlooked and are almost certainly the most crucial.

We should all remain focused on our true goals and remember what it was which got this far in the first place.

Enthusiastically,

Majika

P.S

X1235 you are a serious not helpful GT*O & quit with the BS. I hate cursing but you bring the bad out i guess. You have been absurdly rude towards the community making foul references towards louie6925.
At the very least please just try to be polite.. It really does not costs you anything.  nom nom nom lol

Hi nickhiggins123 or is this X123.. idk i get confused..

humm, so, as per your sig you are fine with pimping yourself out to further fuel consumer marketing intelligence systems instead various surveys etc but not help to be part of the solution to the exact systems to which you are promoting??

i don't get your point, nor how this applies to AM OR more importantly how does this apply to myself?

If you would like to find out more about what AM is about perhaps spend some time to check out the WP and the vast wealth of information I have put together over the course of the old AERO thread which pertains to specifics about what this project is all about and details concerning its constituent parts. OR better yet, wait and see..

Furthermore why waste you time posting this if you are not going to invest or what have you.. Maybe your motives are an attempt at hating on AM?...

I could be wrong in which case I would gladly elaborate on particular issues/points when i have a moment Smiley

--Maj

--edit.

And by the way I by no means wish to come across as arrogant or insultive just a little confused about your point. This project is legit as I have said multiple times I have a good heart and really want to do some good in crypto world. idk what else I can say.

When we can expect to aeroME platform go live?

Quote from: me
Some of the community members may wish I had run this ann past them first to gain hype etc. Well, all i can say to that is there's still time to do whatever you may wish to do in that regard but as what has always been my stance I wish for things to be fair etc, no P&D based of insider intel. etc and is why i will give the least amount of notice prior to launch or dropping a feature.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AM] AeroME - Decentralized Marketplace Exchange on: May 02, 2015, 12:52:08 PM
AeroME community,

There have been many up's and downs, with much chaos and so much bertails etc etc. its been an "experience" one could say. =)

I have been quiet and away from all community related stuff not because I do not value you all and not because "I cant be bothered to deal with ppl etc" its just one of my coping mechanism which then allows me to concentrate and be somewhat productive, more so that when dealing with specific issues, which kind of contradicts what i just said but I know what I mean and what I am trying to say.

You guys are my driving force albeit even from your perspectives I seem to be "AFK" for a while its not the case.
I am always around and always watching, monitoring etc. Its what I do when I get up and last thing i do before i goto sleep.

So, whats this ann about then.. well I am almost done with my work I have made progression to getting this project out asap. Its not 100% how I would like to have released but its something which attains its main objectives and fulfills the goals set out in the public WP and also those same objectives have been meet which are based from the amended (private) whitepaper which I have been working to spec. with.

Please remember this is a work in progress meaning VoIP has been ditched for the moment along with some other minor features. These features will remain "on the books" and become introduced further on down the road over the next few build cycle as we progress..

I will have the README documentation ready shortly which clearly defines all the functions API calls etc. along with a more human friendly array of documentations to use the product.

There will be bounties on offer for some nice Youtube tutorial clips/demos etc. anything to help convey some of the usage patterns for the platform.

Feel free to PM me or whatever I will answer what I can, when I can. RE: Slack and the "other places" I will return "as normal" shortly. Again I apologise for my absence, partial reasons for which were expressed in detail in one of my previous posts.

I hope to truly reward the community with the work which we all have done as a team albeit slightly dysfunctional teamwork, however teamwork none the less, furthermore with the messages of support I really cant express how much this means to me personally but also intellectually speaking to actually create a group of like minded individuals spread out across continents world-wide to have a common goal "and stick to that goal" is remarkable a bond was formed principally out of FAITH and TRUST its remarkable.

This notion alone is enough to keep fighting for.

Also, one last thing to note which I feel deserves a mention.. We have all been to the depths of hell and back (together) through the life of this project and not to forget the same can be true for AeroME's predecessor AERO. We have come through a lot of tough times and experienced great difficulties, all in our own ways but also as a community the same can be said. This cannot be emphasized enough and really does speak volumes about what makes this community so great. We have experienced the bad times more so that most other crypto projects AND I believe its what makes our community so great.

Cheers,

Majika

Dear AeroME community,

Its been a few weeks since I have actually replied to ANYONE, which is fair to say the whole KL saga knocked me for six.

It is/was a totally despicable act that occurred and as such deeply affected myself on many levels the effects of his actions were also felt by members of my family, My dad most of all..

My father was shocked to hear what happened as I confide in him, not only about the some of the technical challenges I faced at times 'or' about the bad things which have happened but also about the good things and about the direction I wish to pursue and journey I am on with this project.

He is a layman in terms of cryptos and computers and disconnected from this enough to provide me with a different perspective from which I may not have already considered and its from someone who i trust implicitly.

A great example of this can be seen when my dad becomes excited for me when he see's my face light up after I discovered a solution to a problem which I had been working on or when the AM price goes up sometime he even calls me to say.. Sim have you check the bitcoin prices.. lol.

All this from a computer illiterate, 60+ year old man with severe health problems but is also wise and deeply caring person who is facing the prospects of the end of his life.

My father is extremely fascinated in cryptos and in the blockchain, the technologies in general from his limited understanding garnered together from the nuggets of information we discuss with each other from time to time. He wants to see his son succeed with his passion and when he learned about what happened he was devastated as he understood how this could jeopardize my work.

After he learned about what happened the first thing he said was to poor guy that got ripped off, is there any way we could help him!!! This was from my father own lips, he was actually concerned about the victim. It was his initial reaction..  This is the type of person who taught me how to act, how to grow into a man and to be a kind, caring and considerate human being.

I am not ashamed to admit it which is exactly what I said to KL shortly after I became aware about the situation I attempted to contact KL to find out what the fuck went on and why he done what he did only to be meet with brutal honesty, which quite frankly blew me away. I expressed my feelings, which may sound "touchy-feely" but thats how I felt and still feel to this day. I am extremely upset that someone could do this so blatantly BUT doubly so as the act originated from someone so respected (at the time) from within our own community.  I expressed this to KL roughly like what I just said in the previous paragraph above. He replied and I left it at that.

By now, to most its all water under the bridge; sort of speak. To me its still a topic of which remains unresolved.

Again, I am being frank, this situation called into question my own judgement and resulted in me questioning myself about the amount of responsibility individuals involved with cryptos have 'or' are allowed to have. Trust and respect are very hard earned and to have this almost wiped out in one fail swoop has been a wake up call.

I try not to listen to the regular fudsters here as they are mostly ignorant and scarce of the facts surrounding issues they comment about. Firstly, about me as an individual, secondly my motivations, thirdly about my true intentions.

Its very difficult to convey in words someone's true intentions and to then also truly believe someone without seeing them face-to-face to determine exactly the type of person one is is extremely difficult to gain insights into someones true intentions and to gain a level of faith and trust based on faceless communications.  Its only natural and is what you guys have to face and its understandable for it to be called into question. I understand this and is to be expected.

This is the problem I face in cryptos,  faith through anonymous communications, its a very hard thing to "truly" accomplish on a social level that is, but in a computational system its quite simple to accomplish via various trustless mechanisms. The whole KL saga is a great illustration of why the Blockchain is the answer to many of the problems we face as a species. It will negate the need to trust for many of our daily tasks, etc.  This whole thing was a blessing in disguise. It reaffirmed my distrust in man kind and systems in general. It confirmed my thinking that open and fair trustless systems are required to counter human base responses along with many other situations where faith/trust matters are involved and/or necessary.

Now, if I have been both directly and indirectly affected by KL actions and I am very upset. I can totally understand to a certain point how trust/distrust can be called into question.

I can only imagine how you guys, the community, my friends may or may not interpret my actions. I can only say something so many times..

If I were of the same mindset as KL why would his actions affect me so deeply if I did not care??  Do you not think If I could do something within my abilities I would? YES I WOULD.

I am still persevering to give back to the community, if you like, proving myself to all the detractors who say majika this or majika that.. blah blah to that I say FU. please leave me alone to do my work and to get over this moment of sadness.

This is NOT to say, during this period where i re-adjust my mindset I will not produce what i promised, nor does it mean i stopped caring about the project and the community its for. I am always here albeit not proactive in a social/community sense, I have alway been a bit introverted its just my genetic makeup I guess. It does not make me an idiot nor does it make me care less about you guys I respect myself enough to ensure I live upto my words but more so that I can actually do something greater in my works and design out some of the problems we all face today.

I am still here!! I have NO intentions of stopping my work, I WILL NEVER leave anyone holding the ball nor will I lie or cheat. I am here to try and do good for all and hopefully sustain my family in the process.. All i wish to do is produce a high-quality product, be friendly and treat people with respect that they deserve. That is all, its really that simple.

Respectfully,

Majika

P.S   X123 tbh I don't like the idea of deleting posts in this modded forum, As I believe in everyone should have a equal say in matters in an open and fair system, however, for you I will make an exception against my personal urges not to delete a post made by you.  You have no clue about my abilities, past project involvements, past experience, previous jobs, nor about development skills, You are being very rude, you are not coming across as the type of person who I personally would like to have involved with this project, nor, do you come across as being very informed. You have attacked me for no reason which I am aware of, If you have something to say please feel free to PM me if you wish to continue your slurs at least then its only to my inbox where it doesn't affect others experience here.

Furthermore, Just like some of the other trolls which used to frequent the old AERO thread in the end we became good friends.. I do hope in time, someday we to can become friends with mutual respect for one another.

This is a clearly a bit off-topic however I think its important to reassure the community how security considerations are problematic to resolve fully without a deep understanding of the issues in a clear meaningful way. This white paper by Stephan Verbücheln (see below) which elaborates on the YY97 whitepaper was passed to me only the other day which kind of shifts my focus, for the moment on to the way which I have implemented ECDSA (Elliptical-curve DSA) mechanisms for the platform.  Without giving the specifics about how exactly I based the cyphers to form the crypto algorithms for the platform away in great detail.

Finding a method to provide a fairly low computationally reliable method to resolve the proof stage by using "off-the shelf" tools/utilities/libraries and not a pure custom ASM based approach has now been brought into doubt. I am revisiting some of my past decisions surrounding the security for the processes within crucial components/portions of the code to see how this can be adapted or modified fairly quickly.

This may sound over the top or even paranoid, however the consequences of the presence of anomalies could produce an inherent flaw in the overall security profile for the platform will could be exploited and prove devastating, there are several freely available methods to resolve this "blip/concern" and is something which I believe you should all take a look at and understand the possible ramifications when interacting on the BC. A understanding even in simplistic terms how vulnerable some otherwise seemingly secure systems can be.

If it can be exploited it will be exploited which is just the reason why off the shelf libraries and code bases must always be scrutinized before implementation and not just take for granted that because its a almost standard toolset (take openssl as an example) then it will work flawlessly. This is just not always the case and is why I am taking matters of this nature slightly more seriously.

Maj, we know you are working hard and doing a good job of it.

Any chance you could leave your IDE for a moment to give us a quick update on things to date and perhaps a revised launch schedule?

i.e. approximately mid-April release, late-April release, early-May/June, etc?
We know how big of a project this is and us programmers also appreciate what you are going through.

Kudos.

https://i.imgur.com/J1VtKc4.png

https://i.imgur.com/x3BcohN.png

roughly 3.2GB of raw source code (uncompressed/unoptimized) many lines of code spread over 4 projects & several sub-modules/libs and this excludes the mobile stuff currently under devel.

AME node webkit client and wallet development is built across all OS'es, in this SS was built for Win x64. but runs happily across-platforms. The Platform is up and is a separate entity, part of the 4 projects which makes up the platform and is what the clients speaks to and is linked with.

tbh, Cant really convey much with SS of open IDE as SS do not really allow to display the overall scope of the works and how it all fits together.

SS above of the fall-back VM's from the VPS'es / clusters and development machines, nodes etc. This SS is off my primary machine but ESXi server is on a separate/shared local dedicated box and runs the cloned bitnami nodejs/NGINX machine/images as are the storage cluster running bitnami REDIS based VM images and a couple off docker containers images plus other bits and pieces.

FYI full source is available up on github for both coin (new/old) and also the nodejs aerome rpc lib as found on the OP link. I am mirroring a distributed version control system acting as a central control revision system.  This is also true for the node modules which are private as set in packet.json so im kind of running a simple private cloud with all my bits and pieces in redundancy offered by bitbucket and also my containers via docker containers.

HTH

I am also still in the process of putting a few matters right which cropped up last week and has kind of pissed me off still..
We have also won a 2 month VIP advertisement showcase competition on AltcoinFoundation.. more info on this asap.
Also a very interesting offer/partnership has passed my desk sort of speak and something which I am considering further before I bring it to you guys.

We should all buy sticker "Support our dev" Smiley

Dont put too much pressure on you majika... Thats really not a good things. Do you need any help from us?

LOL.. yeah buy a sticker or Honk your horn each time you hear the term cryptos mentioned..

In answer to your question alpho i'm figuring this out and yes i will need all the help from our slack community to resolve the issues which came to light the other day.

There are also external pressures on me atm on top of the shit which was dumped at my doorstep this past day or so ago.

TBH, I'm still very pissed and feel like cracking someones head open which is why i'm not making a big thing about it and trying my very best to stay nice and calm and focus on my work all I can do.

We have options available to us as discussed in slack so there are ways out of this conundrum which is also why i'm reasonably calm. But this has hurt me real bad not just personally but again its to one's i care about who have to suffer; the community..

Its wrong on so many levels and I'm pretty disgusted with it all.. like i said please give me a moment to work through this frustration/problem/issue or whatever we can call this shit. And I will come to Slack with the resolution to this matter.

I feel like a pussy talking like this but i'm trying to be honest and open about where my head is at right about now. Also being mindful not to make a mountain out of a molehill and to keep things in perspective, its happened, its a shitty deal, it can be fixed and its not the end of the world (but bad enough from my PoV).

Thanks for concern I will take you up on your offer's shortly.

cheers guy's!

Not only that Grin

I am in doubt that this coin will ever appear. It is either the biggest scam or the biggest amateur. He needs another year, his project is so huge. In the end of the day, in our case an year, he will get at least 1000 BTC and no one will fire a case against him. That's the perfect scam Smiley I had to admit it. It's an ugly but effective move to steel people's money.

btw - anyone, remind me the last time the dev kept his promises?

Concerning the coin: it is already there since december 2014...

Actually we have been around a lot longer than 2014 as we come from AERO heritage Smiley

AeroME community,

As a community we need to stay a community... A safe place where we can share ideas and enjoy the safety net of the support offered by our community, a place where we can feel safe and welcomed.

The last few days have been traumatic to say the least. And is not how I would particularly say is how a community should be but out of all this drama and pain comes lessons which we will all never forget and will all learn from.

I am under a great deal of pressure atm in particular and again am trying to keep focused and restrained in what I say and do but I only have so much restraint in me.

ok Im trying very hard to keep my cool but X1235 WTF are you talking about. If you don't like what you see or feel then please free to step off..

Kebab and the WC comment... you dont know what happened or how shit went down so please keep quiet and stop trying to cough up moth balls..

Regarding that "Other matter" which we "All discussed in slack the other night -1 person"  again i am trying to keep my composure.

As for dev work back the .... off and leave me do my thing.  I have kind of had the wind knocked out of my sails I need to put something right first as a priority.  I honestly dont know why ppl call scam all the time, you could say its one of those buttons I got which when pressed kind of makes me go off on one..

Yes, i go quiet from time to time its just my way to get stuff done.. as for the size and scope of the project, its manageable as expressed in detail over several past posts in the old thread and briefly here too. Its complex yes BUT manageable.

Nothing will stop this project from reaching fruition. I will alway continue to develop. its just that simple. I am in combination with you all trying to make something special. Something which we can call our own and something which truly makes a difference in our daily lives. They are my goals, simple!

And going back a few pages some asked if this was a legit project.. OMFG are you serious. Huh Again i'm trying to bite my tongue here but ofc its ........ real what do you think I have been doing all this time have my thumb stuck up my ass? It just gets a bit boring sometimes "feeling" like I have to go on the defence and legitimize myself.

I never post like this I try to keep a lid on my words and stay reserved, so it should go some way to describe my feelings about certain issues atm.. I try never to offend anyone or anything in my work/words or in what I do. Do no harm is kind of my motto but sometimes i see red. Im only human at the end of the day.

louie6925 as always when you speak you speak volumes and I really hope that has sunk into his head. I cant even say his name atm.

-- I know I continue to push the levels of which the trust i ask for has gone past breaking point long ago, but you continue to support ME not just as the project which I/we represent but also as a fellow human being. You know who you all are and I will never find a way to truly thank you but seriously have been a rock in hard times.

Once again thanks.

Majika

idk what to say other than thank you for your massive support and help KL through all this and yes its enough to drive anyone crazy with the up's/down's, to's and throw's, etc...
no doubt we will have a chat soon.

I sincerely hope you are happy in yourself (thats the main thing) and you feel you done your best (which i can confirm, without a shadow of a doubt) in light of all the shit thats gone on.

I would like to truly thank you for supporting this project and if i know you as well as i think i do i still believe you will keep a check on how this project progresses from behind the shadows, still keeping a watchful eye on us and how things are moving..

Its been a pleasure to work with you in such a pivotal role in this project and I would just like to say thank you. Please also remember my door is always open to you not just for AM-X project stuff but for anything.

Quick update,

busy day today, this is just a heads up about a request which has been put forward to GiftOff (https://giftoff.com) to support "AM" I just sent those guys a email. maybe we could follow things up on that front.. give it 24hrs or so for a reply to my initial email and perhaps we could all quickly ping them with a community based response for inclusion to their service.

FYI:  https://giftoff.com/contact

Regards to the "issue" (above) about ri-pi compiling the wrong source on the github repo. I will either migrate the old AERO repo over to a separate repo so a clear separation of code bases so not to cause confusion about which source is for which..  I still need to move the platform production code over to a public repo so I will kill 2 birds with one stone. reconfigure the complete repositories.

Hi guys,

Apologies for keeping you in the dark...

Quote
For a starters AM dosent need a conf file. its DNSSEED. thus, no need to manually add additional IP addresses for nodes etc...
what interface is it binding onto ? ports open 6222/6221 tcp. ipset check!
addnode=23.25.245.218 = NO
dnsseed=23.25.245.218 but fyi use the hostname not the IP as its about to be changed .
Hostnames are
dnsseed=aerome.publicvm.com
dnsseed=aerome2.publicvm.com
addnode=81.174.154.240 <== ME

On another note AeroME is not just a website per se its a combination of several components all of which need to work in sync for the whole system to work.
New node based-Wallet needs to talk to the Backend apis', The backend Api which form the bases of the platform also needs to work on multiple levels Authentication/OAUTH/Single sign on etc. (part of CSRF apis) Then we have the nodes aspect which need to be able to talk to both the wallets and also the server(s) The Nodes also need to manage the additional load of the other chains for the Smart contracts stuff. The elliptical-curve algo used for the HTTPS connections from wallet to nodes and also to platform is a tricky beast but it done.

I have purchased a "bucket load" of server resources. We now own several servers and also here at the office I have bought out of retirement my old boxes which are acting as a partial proxy and load balancing. I have just negotiated another fixed term with my Business grade SLA with my ISP for this project, its on a fat fibre pipe with 2X2 bounded lines with multiple "sticky" static IPv4 and IPv6 ready addresses. The office lab side of things are running inside/ontop of ESXi server which is powered by Win Server 2012 Core. and then nodes are running ontop of Ubuntu and I have one custom image of RHL Enterprise so we now have the technology.. Smiley

OpenStack based on MEAN.js which we are running Docker containers for really fast & clever reproduction of servers. coupled with puppet/vagrant makes for a mean way to work/ devel.

There are so many individual concerns with rolling this platform out. many of which have been over come I forgot to mention we also have world-class access to transit peers charged by the TB of data TX from multiple geo-locations.
The same goes for DNS systems which is built around this platform, from local side we have very low latency for lookup requests due to the type of infrastructure I have deployed ontop of.

I have also made a custom HADOOP array which is pretty cool.. I have a bank of SSD storage which is blazing fast and power the caching push/pulls from the client/server.

If i were to break it down like this maybe the scope would be better understood of what I am doing.

Global low-latency network
Blazzing fast caching/storage array(s)
Secure multi-layered peering
Flexible Encryption based on custom / modified Encryption algorithms
JSX/Node react based codebase
Documentation to the "eye-balls"
End-to-end secure systems.
and much more.

Nothing has stopped in development, testing or my commitments. I aim to please in the nicest possible way! The Aero community have stood by me and as such this is just reinforces my commitment to the community. !

This stuff is very complicated and i dont say that very often 'or' lightly. Many man hours has gone into this to get it this far. Its going to rock.. Smile!

-Edit-

FYI I have had to re-build my workstations over the past few days which is why i have been away from IRC and other areas which I am usually present in. Back online shortly.

Compmaster please check your PM inbox.

I feel deeply impressed at the various levels of support community members are willing to go to see fellow community members happy.
Without saying to much as i don't wish to jeopardise other members privacy but you know who you are.

Thank you for stepping in again and ensuring that AeroME actually means something more than just individual gains/self interests and cares about others and not just about themselves and strive to take care of their own..

This is a rarity in the crypto game and I am very proud we are different in so many regards.

Respectfully,

Majika

Well it saddens me as there seem's there is no come back from the devs regarding whether their site is a scam or not therefore the only conclusion after 24hrs+ is it must be a scam.!

The best thing we can all do is to spread the word far and wide. Reddit groups/Here on BCT/allcryptotalk.com, etc

Simply make one post and copy and paste all over the place under your various accounts which may gain maximum exposure.

Its our job to try to keep crytpto's safe from scammer's such as these.
Also stick all your follow back links here where you post and I will get them Re-tweeted.

We have to stamp out this kind of stuff..

Majika

P.S rhegie13, yes that will be a great help.. I will also bring this up with Namescheap via their support ticket

SCAM -- Until proven otherwise (I hope my gut feeling is proven wrong!)

Im usually quite reserved about making comments about this kind of thing however I feel its my duty to inform the crypto community about the pitiful attempts made by individuals to make a quick buck..
Go out and earn a proper buck as opposed to attempt to steal other peoples well earned coins.

This epitomizes an example of why new comers to the crypto space are so cautious due to dubious "so called" crypto projects like this.. Shame on you!

I should warn any potential users of this ("so-called") Exchange to stay well away.

The shoddy markup of the code itself screams out "SCAM" not to mention the few posts mentioned previously about test amounts not being received.

I hope you can prove me wrong at which time I will gladly apologize for this comment and may then do an independant review of this project myself and publicly post my findings as accurately as possible.

until then, if you still insist on using this service please Follow some basic security consideration steps..

1) Make sure the password and email you use to sign up for this service are unique.

Another words DO NOT use the same username/email/password which you already us on other crypto services/exchanges like Bittrex/Cryptsy/Gmail, etc.

2) Maybe setup a throw away email account to use to sign up for this service
** Free. Disposable. Email. -  https://mailinator.com/

3) Send a really small "test" amount to this exchange and check if you can easily withdraw it *ALL*

4) ALWAYS enable two-factor-Authentication across all your accounts where 2FA is available

If you are already to late and have signed up to this exchange I would urge you to go and change the email/passwords on your other accounts which share the same email you used to sign up here.
better still pull your coins from the exchange and store them in your offline wallets.

I hope this helps anyone else who even contemplates using this Exchange to THINK TWICE!
There is a reason why the top exchanges are.. well, at the TOP of the list for a reason. Its because they are "Established" operations and have a proven track record. They also follow basic security principles and offer a support service.

Has anyone tried to contact the support desk for this exchange? Do they even have one?

Respectfully,

Majika.

P.S if my suspicions are proven correct I suggest those who have been taken advantage of please contact the Reseller: NAMECHEAP.COM hosting providers regarding this website and get them to cancel this account under breach of their ToS.
