Does someone have a link to a compiled version of the "killer groestl" release? I don't know the first thing about compiling from github...

The good news: - my Falcons arrived - upon plugging in the falcon to the zenminer that I had registered a few days ago, it detected and starting hashing (clevermining) - the pool-side hashrate is the advertised 27 MH/s
The bad news: - one Falcon is louder than three Gridseed Blades
The really bad news: - 1137 W (9.87 A) at the wall - the PSU is working hard and getting pretty hot - the PCI-E wires are very warm and the insulation is starting to get soft after about 10 mins
As much as I hate to do it, I've taken it down already. I can live with the noise, but if the power consumption doesn't decrease *significantly* with the promised firmware update, it's going to be a big issue.
What size PSU are you using?

Hey for those wondering about the hosted Black Widow, I thought I'd give an update. Earlier today it was a real crap shoot... rebooting and losing hash speeds about every 20 minutes. I sent an email to hosting support describing the issues, which was turned into a trouble ticket. I haven't heard back since then, but over the last hour my Nicehash speeds have stabilized... accepted 5 min speeds range from 12.5M up to 17M, and accepted round speed is at 13.5M. The box seems to reboot itself like clockwork every hour, which I wonder is a temporary fix until GAW can get updated firmware on it. It's not quite the 18M that some have reported, but at least I'm averaging over what the GAW advertised hashrate is. I have noticed that it doesn't like to play nice with some pools, so it might take some trial and error to find the most stable one, but I'm glad Nicehash is working fine now. Things can only improve from here I guess... and with the thousands of boxes they have to attend to, I can't complain for less than 24 hours into the launch. Keep up the good work GAW!

Can anyone explain this? This is from twin 660TI's mining jackpot using: D:\ccminer30\ccminer30.exe -q -s 1 -a jackpot -d 0,1 -o stratum+tcp://www.hashharder.com:9958 Hashharder reports: 4.2598 Mh/s What is going on? I doubt that these two cards are that capable. I was getting close to 7 MHS earlier ~C That's what happens when the card or pool (or combination of the 2) freaks out from too much OC. I eventually had to just completely disable OC while mining JPC, or else this would happen about once a day. And if it happens while you're asleep, you get several hours of mining at half hash rate. Further back in this thread is a way to compile ccminer to exit and reboot when this happens, but that's a bit over my head and I'm just waiting for it to be incorporated into a future release.

For those with staking issues... as long as you've downloaded the current wallet, and added the nodes to the Sync.conf file as detailed in the OP... it hurts to say this, but the solution is to WAIT LONGER. I have .61 Sync, and it took a while, but it finally staked earlier today after having the wallet open since yesterday. Received my first stake shortly after of 0.0226 Sync. Hurry up and wait.

Around 125k JPC and 18 XC per day. Those are of course estimates based on luck and difficulty, but that's what I've seen the last 36 hours or so. Wish I would have started mining both earlier last week.

What do you gys think is a better bet XC Coin or JPC? Posted from Bitcointa.lk - #tzhfUNKmcTPJvpP1
I've got one 750ti rig pointed at one, and another at the other. At this point, who knows. People sure are blowing up XC right now though.

Here is another contest to pass the time while you wait for your miners As you guys know, we have some fun name that we use for things. Believe it or not, I make them all up, but for very specific reasons...... I will give a free Fury (second week). To the person the person that guesses the closest to why we choose all the names for everything related to our company first Cut off is 11pm Eastern Tonight! Bluntly, internal code names are fun, build a healthy sense of conspiracy within the team, and protect your internal develop from competition being able to figure out what your up to, even if they do overhear your developers at the local bar? Cassey by far the closest Internal codenames Transformers, release products Marvel characters? I got nothin.' except for... I came. I GAW. I conquered. or Gordon Ramsay: "It's GAW!" or I fought the GAW and the... GAW won.
