You guys enjoy talking about your favorite movies and super heros and wanted to incorporate it into your work Here is another contest to pass the time while you wait for your miners As you guys know, we have some fun name that we use for things. Believe it or not, I make them all up, but for very specific reasons...... I will give a free Fury (second week). To the person the person that guesses the closest to why we choose all the names for everything related to our company first Cut off is 11pm Eastern Tonight! Bluntly, internal code names are fun, build a healthy sense of conspiracy within the team, and protect your internal develop from competition being able to figure out what your up to, even if they do overhear your developers at the local bar? Cassey by far the closest

The miner names are based on the strength of the super powers of a comic book hero and the speed of the miner.
From weakest to strongest.
Fury, normal human, has no super power but runs SHIELD.
Black Widow, skilled woman in martial arts and weapons.
Falcon has powered wings.
War Machine, a military suit built by Iron Man. It comes with an arc reactor.
Big Gun, Cyborg?
They secure the block chain of scrypt coins and maintain stability.

I conquered. or Gordon Ramsay: "It's GAW!" or I fought the GAW and the... GAW won.

Cassey by far the closest If it were me, I would choose names based on popular google search terms. This would both increase exposure on final products and decrease chances of beta products being found by competition. See "movies" here. Look at the top results. http://trends.google.com/trends/topcharts#cid=entertainment

You are an American team like the avengers, with many rival but you always have the upper-hand, part of the reason why is the secrecy and sense of camaradery that comes from having codenames. You have a mission of bringing crypto-currencies mining to everyone, and don't mind sacrificing profits (you lost money on the furies) to that end. Also these kinds of names are easier to remember than technical names, and "comes out of the crowd" more.

My guess is that each "generation" of products is based on a series. This generation A is based on Marvel's X-Men. Other generations are based on series like GI Joe, Transformers, etc.

Business choose names for theirs products that best identify with their consumer base. Since crypto mining's main consumer base is tech savy men who generally are knowledgeable of all things Marvel, it only makes sense to name products with strong names that the consumer base can recognize and identify with. Not saying the products are named after Marvel characters, but the names such as war machine or the fury automatically bring a Vision of power and speed to Gaw's customers. Furthermore projects such as "prime" bring to mind something of a "transformers" quality, ever changing, always evolving, while simultaniously putting Gaw's rivals on notice and change the mining world for the better.

Business choose names for theirs products that best identify with their consumer base. Since crypto mining's main consumer base is youngish men of the Millennial generation, it only makes sense to name products with strong names that the consumer base can recognize and identify with.
If this holds true. I'm in the wrong place...
