Thank you for quoting me and dredging up the past  . For the record the price of BC did drop very close to 0.5 cents before it rebound. Literally the next day after you announced the last of your BC had been sold the price stopped falling and started rising. Your predictions are laughably bad. Anyone who examines the facts can determine that. |

Its amazing how much hate and FUD this thing has gathered. Stabilization at this point is good, but it is really so painful to see darkcoin be promoted HARD while the advantages of a coin like XC are more than obvious. Every fud has been answered, every bug has been, or is being worked on, and atcsecure has gone to great lengths to assure us of the coins long-term development, upgrade and prosperity. I respesct DKR's "experience" and dev's sincerety at many matters, but it is obviously unfair. I do however believe than given time we will shine. What else is there for a mere member to do to promote XC? Push coindesk for an article? Ask more devs to test the code? Send emails somewhere else? Retweet? What?
You guys are forgetting how high the price has gone already. People are already sitting on mountains of unrealized gains (in terms of BTC). The price needs to settle in to it's new value for a little while. Definitely right. But this "new value" you say is much lower than ATH. Hadnt there been for the DKR fud, our steady price would be much, much closer to the ATH. Not to mention much higher than that. With dev's recent releases, is there ANY doubt that price would have corrected much, much higher?  who knows - just hold - price will go up if people stop selling and hold. its a simple concept really. If the price of XC tanks and you sell watch all the DRK coiners FUDDING it day and night swoop in and pick up a bunch of your cheap coins and then start singing it's praises. The only thing that makes DRK special, XC does better. And we are much cheaper. Just HOLD your coins, play the waiting game and you will all be handsomely rewarded. No joke brahs I am buying more as the price dips... I thought I had missed the boat at 30, I am loading up right now as hard as I can. |

I am always "here". No I didn't buy back but I am interested in seeing what happens. When I made my predictions it was based on sustained growth and what I was planning on doing with BC in regards to marketing...etc..etc. I shared some of those ides when I recently promoted another coin  . As it stands now the price will remain roughly the same for weeks and months to come. You will see sharp increases at times, and also dips, but the price will not go over $0.50 cents for quite some time. I will be the first to admit BlackCoin is one of the only coins that has almost everything in place. The new website looks great and there is an actual infrastructure being built around BC. That is the reason why this coins hasn't vanished like so many before it. However, BlackCoin like many others is now at the stage of bringing in new money. Think about it for one second. Our community is very small and the investment money coming in is by basically the same people. We move our money from one coin to another. Sometimes we pick the right coin, sometimes we don't. But the cycle continues, that is why usually when one coin is being pumped, another one goes down. With all the competition fighting for investment dollars the money is spread thin. That is why I warned several weeks ago that BC had to grow fast and lock itself into position before all the new coins were launched. Now unfortunately BC is stuck because there is no new money to pump in. BC isn't the only coin that suffers from lack of new investment money, all alt coins suffer from this. I know everyone was excited about CoinKite and weeks ago I made a post and predicted that BC would see very little increase from the CoinKite partnerships. I wasn't "hating", I just knew that most people would have already known about CoinKite by June 1st so it would not make them invest more money in BC because of it. CoinKite was already factored into the price when it was announced several weeks ago. People will now have to wait and see what the PR firm has planned to bring in new investment money. "You know you and some of the others are completely full of shit right?. All I read all day is IE this and IE that. What are you and the other half wits doing to stop BC from crashing? Nothing. BC is slowing collapsing and all anyone can talk about is me. If I am so insignificant and do not matter, why am I talked about more than any of the members of the dev team or foundation? Stop kidding yourself, BC will slide into a coma because no one was more vocal than me promoting it. Bitcoin might not have one person representing it, but BlackCoin sure did. XC is doing amazing on the development side, but they need to pick it up on the marketing side. There are so many people who do not even know that we have an decentralized anon wallet w/ xnodes ALREADY released. Not to mention those ignorant to how even the technology works.
I suggest that XC ramps into gear on the marketing side. Writing articles / informative posts with diagrams / making youtube videos, etc..

Are the xnodes working correctly? That technically puts us in front of DRK who are still trying to resolve their fork issues from their masternode payments. i say we do everything he has planned but better, why not just have an encrypted msg system but an encrypted email service with your own email address like outlook etc but you download like a wallet but has the wallet built into as well so you can exchange emails and send payments in the same client? i don't know if it would be worth while but just throwing it out there.
Cinni doesn't have anonymity planned for 12-18 weeks. Plus it's just a promise. Lots of coins make empty promises. As for the encrypted messaging, we will be heading down that path later. But for now we should continue with our big strength - xnodes. |

Isnt the point of this crypto to be "trustless" - not trust...the minute you place trust in an entity - the decentralization aspect of the coin diminishes.
Well he just said there is no risk. What is the difference between riskless and trustless? |

It's ok to admit you are scared shitless that XC is already over taking DRK's tech LOL. What has taken DRK months and still isn't working, XC is already snapping at the heels! And when XC is finished the end product will be far superior... DDOS resistant, truly decentralised, encrypted etc. Dump all your DRK and buy XC quick imo. I never mentioned DRK nor do I want to in this thread. I clearly called out an exploit?? Its time you all woke up from your dream of patting each other on the back all the time. DRK handles it like: "User A: You MasterNode A: The previous master node MasterNode B: This rounds master node User A makes the collateral payment out to the Master A but sends it to Master B along with the input/out1/out2. Master B can cash it, but it doesn't benefit him at all. That solution doesn't decrease the anonymity, but complete destroys the incentives to cheat." Maybe it's done like that? I am not the dev. If he's ready to reveal his secret sauce that makes it work he will. This is still a beta, so maybe dev has several ideas in mind. Multisig might be able to do it? Idk. |

This coin has everything going for it.
I don't get it.
In my opinion we should have saw and should still be in the .0005 range.
Here we are at the .00032 range which is infact less then i thought the coin was worth 2 months ago.
The IRC is riddled with fud and now this forum seems actually okay.
we can't get a brake from the manipulators.
Not trying to FUD i love this coin.
But there is a point I will no longer be in bc.
I know from talking to others I am not the only one and we have all ready seen a lot of our community leave.
The price has more than doubled in the last couple of weeks, and was close to triple briefly. Your post is fishy to me. Coins don't just go up and up. Bitcoin is the greatest of all the coins and it's had many long periods of stagnation and down trends. The time to panic would have been if we sunk to 15k and then kept going downwards to nothing like so many pump and dumps before us. Instead a ton of projects and initiatives have come forward and we have risen up very nicely in price. The initial run up to 90k we saw early on was never going to be sustained. But we are slowly returning there, this time on solid fundamentals. |

I would give a bit more time teka as for now I did not see anything business like apart from the one taken by Xavier I don't think there is any rush for the logo better come up with the beat ones rather than amotorial ones. +1 if you agree +1000 This extremely important for the future of this coin currency technology. Speaking of that Xavier logo, has anyone thought of actually contacting and offering him the bounty money to create the logo? Contacting Xavier prob not a good move. AS i suggested we should just cleverly borrow it without threat of legal recourse on part of Xavier. I am hapy somebody has indeed submitted a similar design (altho it is a little too busy for my taste 0 a v2 could be better imo) Trust me the trolls will latch onto it and use it against us if we base a design on Xavier's logo. Better we just hire him. |

The wallet release is on track for tonight.
It will be mainnet ready, and have the XNode code in the wallet. It is fully decentralized.
Just to clarify somethings as well - REV2 will have a solution to the bad actor problem. Using a dynamic learning trust system, the wallet will choose the trusted nodes over the bad actor nodes. This also will be tied into the fee system so it will also be incentive based.
I will also be laying out a very high level roadmap of what’s next, what’s coming and long term plans.
As part of this process, I will be putting together a complete business plan, which will be release later this week.
Also if your running an XNODE your 1000 XC's will not stake. There is a feature in the wallet - reserve balance - which basically prevents those coins from staking. Xnodes will need to use this feature so that the coins are available for the Xpool.

So you can get fucked a few times by bad actor nodes, then it learns to trust good ones? Requires trust you mean, as in not trustless? As in the government can buy Xnodes and make them run as intended to gain trust and then see all transactions? That is no different than DRK. Nothing stopping the government buying a lot of DRK nodes. Hence the 1000 DRK requirement to make it costly. |

there is nothing wrong with commisioned work as long as it adds value to the coin, community or something else.
we can only imagine how much the dev has on his desk right now. juggling many aspects of such a project requires knowledge in a wide variety of skills. Project management and team lead is as important as the pure getting-dirty programming footwork. Having a bunch of capable programmers step in and close some of the open tasks is propably just the right thing to do.
This is why the XC dev has already done what took the DRK dev months. In fact if XC dev can get this working properly this will actually be superior to DRK. Anything the XC dev can outsource to someone else eg testnet, DNS seeder etc, he is doing so... which means he can spend more time on the code. |

The problems addressed in this were handled hundreds of pages ago. Darksend isn't finished yet and was never promised to be 100% anonymous unless you use great care. Plus RC4 will have great improvements to the anonymity offered. More Random FUD
MrWhale, Since you don't seem to have any understanding of what the term "trustless" means, I'll explain it to you. It's impossible to do trustless mixing with the way XC works. It's obvious that it's just a normal mixer that was implemented in a decentralized way. So it must work like this: 1.) Your client connects to a mixer node 2.) Your client sends money to the mixer node, then asks it to send money to another address 3.) Your money gets deposited into the mixers pool of funds 4.) Then the miner sends out the money to the address you specified The problem is the node doesn't have to send the money, then you've just lost the money you sent. What if I ran a node and messed with the code to collect money but not send any out? Darksend is "trustless" because it requires signatures from everyone involved to make the transaction valid. There is no opportunity to lose money at any point during the process. XC dev says his multipath protocol takes care of this. Don't know how DRK dev can basically lie like this because unless he has seen the code he doesn't know how it works. |
