Thank you all so much for help. That was easy at the end plus I learned some computor language! It was worth it.

Is it normal that when I want to copy paste those private keys that start with 5 there are more than 50 to copy and paste even though I only have 1 wallet adress on Armory?
And should I just copy paste one by one into Electrum and then click Next?
Electrum can take more than one prvKey during import, just paste them one line after the other (prvKey1->Enter->prvKey2).
Since you've just started using Armory, I'd say that the address should be within the first 10 in the list.

Also, since the prvKeys start with '5', the addresses should be all P2PKH (legacy) and you wont need to specify the addresses' script type.
Your Armory is also having issues with reusing the 1st transaction's input and it may be unaware of your first transaction, thus the change address with balance might be in the "unused" list.

When I check the unused list it says 0 balance, used also 0 balance I guess because the balance is still 1BTC.

When I check Change received, balance is also 0,0.

Ok, I will try to copy/paste all of them and import them.. see if it works.

Ok. I verified Electrums signature and it is approved, just like the steps in the link (thank you for that).
Now I will download Electrum, but do I sweep or import the private keys? Since I will be moving btc to another wallet. I noticed when downloading Electrum for sweeping you need to choose normal wallet and for importing u need to choose Bitcoin wallet or importing keys or something like that. I also read you recommend sweeping rather than importing?
The difference is when you "Sweep", Electrum will send all of the prvKey's address' balance to the wallet where you used sweep.
"Import" will just include the prvKey to the imported wallet (can't import to a standard wallet).

So since you mentioned that you're just going to send them to your Binance account, I'd suggest you to use "Import" in the new wallet option "Import bitcoin addresses or private keys" (click 'Info' to properly import the correct address type), then use the created 'imported wallet' to send the funds to Binance.
There's a shortcut that involves sweeping it to a watch-only electrum wallet with Binance deposit address but it's best to play safe.

But if you're planning to use Electrum, I'd suggest your to create a new wallet, backup the seed phrase. Then sweep using that wallet.
Take note that one of the option "2fa wallet", incurs a fee for third-party 2fa service in every 20/100 transactions (info), it's safe against "hacks" but not free.

Is it normal that when I want to copy paste those private keys that start with 5 there are more than 50 to copy and paste even though I only have 1 wallet adress on Armory?

Is there any special thing I should know while downlowding electrum? So I don't make same mistake like I did with Bitcoin Core and Armory (I also followed tutorials - didn't even know about prune mode)
One important optional step is to verify your downloaded Electrum's signature to make sure that it's not a fake.

Before following HCP's instructions (from the link) to import the key(s) to Electrum,
you might want to do this first: [GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum [Guide]
Note: The thread is long just because it includes steps for three different platforms, but the instructions for one OS should be simple.

Thank you  Smiley

That was easy and simple and it did the job.
7  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum [Guide] on: September 06, 2021, 08:04:20 PM
The guide has instructions for three operating systems, you only need to follow the instruction for your OS.  I do recommend you complete all the steps, as it makes abundantly clear that you have the authentic version and not malware.  There are three steps to complete,

Here're links to the instructions for windows:

Install:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5240594.msg54467820;topicseen#post_WinInstall
Import.ThomasV's.Key:

Verify:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5240594.msg54467820;topicseen#post_WinVerify

"In Kleaopatra, click on the "Decrypt/Verify" button, and browse to the location of the .exe and .asc files you saved.  Select the .asc file, and click "Open.""

When I do that, it says An error occurred, could not open file: input/output error. I did all the steps, but here is where it stops.

When I untick prune mode it says with red letters Reverting this setting requires re-downloading the entire blockchain.  ?
Your Bitcoin Core was pruned? Huh Well that would certainly prevent Armory from working properly. Roll Eyes

Ok what are my options. Do I go this way?
Or If I download Electrum on my PC and import it to Electrum will I be able to move ot to Binance from Electrum?
Depends on what you want... If you want to continue using Armory, then you'd be advised to get Bitcoin Core fully synced and NOT pruned, and Armory connected to it.

If you just want your coins out, export the keys, import into Electrum and send them wherever you like.

Yes, I want to send the coins to Binance and I don't need Armory no more. The thing is I watched tutorials and Armory was only option to import the private key from Caucasius coin.

Anyways, what I do now is just download Electrum wallet on my laptop and follow the steps above? Is there any special thing I should know while downlowding electrum? So I don't make same mistake like I did with Bitcoin Core and Armory (I also followed tutorials - didn't even know about prune mode)

Really guys thankyou for your time
9  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Unable to send BTC on: September 03, 2021, 08:34:07 PM
Can you check your Bitcoin core is fully sync? Armory wallet won't work properly if the Bitcoin core is not fully synced and also Armory won't run properly if your bitcoin core is in pruned mode. So check that first on the bitcoin core settings and untick prune.

Then let's see if it will sync again or if it was fully synced?

This issue shouldn't take too long if you export the private key and import it to Electrum and transfer the remaining bitcoin to another wallet and then start again on the installation of your Armory and Bitcoin core wallet before you sent it back to your new armory wallet.

To be 100% sure what the Bitcoin data directory actually is, you can simply open Bitcoin Core GUI... look in "Window -> Information"... and see what the value for "datadir" is:

If it isn't "C:\Progam Files\Bitcoin" then you've setup Armory incorrectly.

Honestly, you should be using C:\Program Files\Bitcoin as a datadir... as newer versions of Windows treat C:\ as being somewhat protected as it is the system drive... and you can often end up with really weird permissions errors if you're trying to read/write from certain directory paths Undecided

Ok. The copmuter guy cloned my old driver, so everithing is the same on my new SSD.

I went to Armory settings and put directory to default (blank).

I also checked Bitcoin data directory and it's C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin.

Should I now try to send it when I changed Armory directory into default?

11  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Unable to send BTC on: September 02, 2021, 06:58:53 PM
-snip- Also my balance still shows 1BTC even though I've already sent 0.02 BTC to test it out when it worked magically.
That's the issue, rather result of the issue.
Your wallet still has access to coins that you've already spent.
So in your new transaction, it's still trying to spend that spent coin(s), it's normal for nodes/your node to reject a transaction with invalid inputs.

The solution, I'm now sure but have you copied your previous Bitcoin Core and Armory database?
Try to run Bitcoin Core and see if it will start/sync, if it's good, then the issue is in your Armory setting.

And are you sure that your bitcoin core's datadir is "C:\Program Files\Bitcoin"?:
Code:
2021-09-01 15:19:38 (INFO) -- ArmoryQt.py:1891 - Setting satoshi datadir = C:\Program Files\Bitcoin
The default is in %appdata%\armory or C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Armory
If it's actually in the default directories, you can set it to default = blank in the pathing settings (armoryqt.conf) and Armory's settings (File->Settings), restart.

If still doesn't work, you can use "Rebuild and Rescan Database" because there could be an issue with your old data when you ran out of space,
it will delete your Armory database and rebuild it. It wont cost you internet bandwidth but will take some time to finish.

I don't remember copying previous Bitcoin Core and Armory database.
Bitcoin Core is synchronizing normally when I open it.
My Bitcoin Core files are in Program Files/Bitcoin and Armory is also in Program Files/Armory. It was in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Armory and in the beginning I draged the file to Program Files/Armory. 0.02 BTC was still sent away from Armory to another wallet successfully.

"If it's actually in the default directories, you can set it to default = blank in the pathing settings (armoryqt.conf) and Armory's settings (File->Settings), restart." This part I don't understand much, sorry I am trying Smiley
If I do the Rebuild and Rescan Database now, will it affect my wallet or no?
12  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Unable to send BTC on: September 01, 2021, 01:33:14 PM
I hope your SSD is at least 1 TB as Bitcoin Core and the blockchain data will take up some 400Gigs. Anything less than 1 TB may cause space issues further down the line... especially considering that you also need to factor in space for the Operating System and other apps/data etc.

And of course, if you're still having issues after you get the SSD installed and everything setup, then feel free to ask for help Wink

Hi!

I downloaded the new version of Armory and when I tried to send BTC the send button didn't work. all stayed the same. I also rescaned balance, but I didn't rescan and rebuild databases since I don't know what that does. my Bitcoin Core is 0.21.1 version. I've also put the fee to 200 satoshi, but still not sending. Also my balance still shows 1BTC even though I've already sent 0.02 BTC to test it out when it worked magically. Smiley
here is my log file if you can see where is the problem Smiley

Yes I bought 1TB SSD, I figured it should be enough. After everithing loads I will keep you posted. Thanks Smiley

Thankyou for all the advices and help. I am currently installing new SSD card so i will have a lot more space on internal disc. I hope Armory and Bitcoin Core work after that is done.
15  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Unable to send BTC on: August 26, 2021, 10:27:47 AM
Do you have other drives/partition that has 400GB+ of free disk space?
Because Bitcoin Core will need it for its data directory files, mostly the blockchain.
Uff no, nothing on my computer. C drive is 212 and D is 24GB. Do I need to buy an external disc?
Oh, without the space, you can't use Armory because it requires the full blockchain (c/o Bitcoin Core).
Your option now it to use an SPV wallet like Electrum or if you already sent bitcoins to it, you can export the private keys to another wallet.

If you're planning to expand the storage, it should be an internal drive for better performance, but an external drive will work as well.

Ok so if I buy an external Hard Drive, do i need to reinstall everithing on that drive or it will just continue to load on that external dics?
Because I can't send the bitcoin from Armory to Electrum since Armory node isn't completely done it stopped at 31%.
16  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Unable to send BTC on: August 26, 2021, 07:30:18 AM
Yes, first thing I did was paper backup. I have that. Now in the middle of the downloading process, my C drive ran out of space and everithing paused.
What can I do?

Yeah... If you can actually get Armory starting (even if it isn't syncing etc), and you haven't already, you should make sure you have a paper backup with the root key etc.

Regardless of what happens with the wallet files, if you have your paper backup, you'll be able to recover your wallet and funds.

My wallets will stay untouched when I install the new version? Or will I have to import the existing wallet? I am still learning all of it Smiley

This is potentially a problem. What version of Bitcoin Core are you using?

That's a very old, outdated version of Armory... it won't work properly with newer versions of Bitcoin Core. I would suggest you go here, get 0.96.5 and update your Armory, then try again: https://btcarmory.com/

0.96.5 is on the releases page: https://btcarmory.com/releases/

Where do I go from here and why did it work for small amount and not for the big amount of btc...
Honestly not sure... for some reason your Bitcoin Core client didn't accept it. It is possibly related to the old Armory version doing something that Bitcoin Core isn't liking Huh

At this point, all I can suggest is to update Armory and try again. If it still isn't working after updating... post the updated log files.

I am using Bitcoin Core 0.21.1 version. Ok, I will download and update my Armory and try it again and post the log. Thank you for your help so far!
20  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Unable to send BTC on: August 23, 2021, 05:52:09 PM
Sounds like Armory may not be communicating with bitcoin properly... can you please post your Armory logs?

I would suggest you paste them to pastebin.com and then post the pastebin URL here to avoid creating a super long post (or having it cut off due to max character limit).

Hi there.

https://pastebin.com/Yub3M4YR   Here is the website to the logs. I hope I got it right. Yesterday I managed to send 0.02 btc and it worked. in 20 minutes I got it to my Binance. Later in the evening i tried to transfer the rest and it didn't work. It said: tx broadcast timed out (get).

Where do I go from here and why did it work for small amount and not for the big amount of btc...
