It is with great pleasure that i am announcing that i have now officially accepted the lead role in order to try and take HarmonyCoin to new heights. I am sorry for the delay, but i have had to prepare myself for this and analyse and discuss every single detail. We will be making major implementations and changes to HarmonyCoin, and although the team will be dedicated and ambitious it takes all of us as one united community to reach the maximum potential. Here is what we are looking to achieve in the next 10 days:

1) Tor Anonymity. This without any doubt is a priority and it seems that everyone in the community believes so too. It will be implemented next Monday (in a week).

2) Tor Nodes. CryptoAdvisor will post in the coming three days about tor nodes which are needed for testing tor anonymity and for it to work. He is responsible for this and he told me he will need the community to participate. By friday, tor nodes should be working.

3) Multipool. Triplef is working hard to bring it back up and he is close to finishing it, by next wednesday the multipool should be working with a whole lot of new features including automatic payouts. He will be posting soon in this thread about the new developments of the multipool and all the extra information.

4) We need a new website, and we are ready to listen to offers about it. We need a high quality website, something very polished so send us a private message if you want to take on the job. The bounty at the moment is 0.25 btc for anybody interested, but please talk to us before so we agree on the details. If you think you deserve more than just 0.25 btc send us a message to the HarmonyCoin BCT account; we will listen to offers.

5) Logo Contest. We are also looking to organise a logo contest. More details will be posted soon.

6) Irc wallet problem. The irc problem with the new wallet will be solved in the coming days.

7) Team. We have brought in two new experienced members to the team to accelerate the development of the coin and DailyModo has left us.


This is the planning for the next 10 days, and i can assure you that we will do the maximum in order to achieve all of this on time -if not before. As you have probably realised, this all will be achieved in 10 days or less, after that a new set of goals will be decided and we will again work hard to realise them. Everything the community has mentioned has and will be taken into consideration, and our team will analyse the priorities and how to achieve them.

New features for later weeks we will try to implement will include -amongst others- HarmonyPay, improvements to multipool, wallet with exchange inbuilt, wallet that can hold btc and hmy, android wallet that can stake and other ideas that will be new to the altcoin community and some that the altcoin community have long hoped to achieve but that no one has yet achieved (we hope to be the first and we will announce all of these when the right time comes along). We are also here to work together and to listen to different proposals, so if you have any new ideas or anything you want to see us implement in HarmonyCoin, please do not forget to inform us.

Apart from this, we have already set our marketing approach and communication one and the results will be observed quickly. We are willing to make harmony the best, or the minimum is one of the best with a long-term perspective but at the same time with quick and efficient results. Together we should be able to achieve this!

I have been working hard lately to bring together the fusion we need for this coin to succeed and will be announcing a lot very soon; this all looks very promising.

I just need CryptoAdvisor to arrange and confirm a few details before i officially announce that I am the lead member of this coin and that it is now under my responsibility. He hasn't responded yesterday but i hope he will today so that we launch harmony altogether once and for all with no more delays and bumps along the road.

I have just had a long conversation with CryptoAdvisor and Triplef regarding the development of this coin, multipool, marketting, communication and even the business side. We have identified the shortcomings of this project, and we have now redirected it into the right path (more details will be made clear soon).

Fernand0x has promised to bring out the new wallet with the blockexplorer and irc on early this week to be tested (probably tomorrow, that's what he mentioned). On the other hand, triplef is working hard on the multipool and things are advancing fast, he will be posting here the short/medium/long-term plans for the multipool and will soon be bringing back the multipool working; a much better one than the previous one too.

Once the wallets released and the multipool working, Crypto Advisor and I will start the marketing and enhance the communication for harmony. At this point (which should be this coming week), we will have some great announcements for you guys. For the moment, i will not speak until i am sure about what i'm about to promise.
 
All i have to say is that I will not let you guys down and a lot more is going to happen in the next 2 weeks.

I'm going to have a meeting tomorrow with the devs (I know CryptoAdvisor will be there, but i hope Triplef and Fernand0x will be able to make it too). I will summarise the conversation, or maybe even post screenshots for the community. This ill include a roadmap and will be detailed for every part of the project (Development, Marketting, Communication, Multipool etc...).

Cryptoadvisor, when you say the wallets, does that include tor anon and irc client integrated in the wallet? Or what does it include?

I think that anon is always an extra important feature whether be it now or in the future. Plus we all know it is currently hyped and any coin who implements a successful anon gets a lot of attention (have a look at key coin, it has implemented anon 2 days ago and its price is up by more than 600%). I don't care about the price rise as much as i care about the attention this will generate; a better long-term solution. Whereas in the future, i do agree that we must provide a 2 way based solution, one where the user can choose whether he wants the transaction to be anonymous or not.

1) I thought Fernand0x was going to implement TOR anon with updated wallets and irc clients built in (somewhere this week or early next week)?

2) How about the multipool? (Triplef was doing an excellent job)


Even if it isn't a priority, but the android wallet is always a plus. I agree on your other marketing and communication efforts, but i still think we need to provide a bounty for a website, as well as give more attention to irc and twitter as you mentioned. CryptoAdvisor has to remain with us and help us in the marketting department and bring in some investors that would be interested. But again, that doesn't mean we should solely rely on him, this is a joint effort by everyone in the community and everyone has to do an effort.


We are still waiting for your comments people, we need your opinions to see where we will all direct HarmonyCoin. I need your opinions and contributions before i talk to the devs and have a discussion with them.

'We truly believe that within 3 months, HarmonyCoin will be one of the top 5 altcoins in Cryptos!' We are lagging behind big time, but it's still not too late, so let's all move up a level above and get more active in order to get this going.

I am ready to integrate the team and spend time trying to think on how to improve this coin. I already have many ideas on how to improve this coin and if everyone agrees, i will represent the harmony community/investors and will push for this coin to succeed. Whether it is me or another person, or even more than one person, i believe that it is important that we have the 'investor's voice' within the dev team to defend and integrate our wishes.

The next step i believe we should follow after tor, is to reinforce our marketing and communication strategy, solidify our multipool and make it work again. All of this whilst developing and integrating a mixer based anonymous system on top of the tor; something that would be revolutionary. We could also think about android wallets and other implementations too (but those are not the main priorities atm).

All of this will of course need to be discussed with the devs, and i will get in touch with the devs today in order to find a platform where i can communicate and get hold of them quickly and efficiently every day or so, so i can update you guys and push this project forward faster.

Any ideas/implementations you guys want, please propose them and i will analyse the different possibilities/costs etc and will come back to you guys with what i found.

  

Let's not go too fast with criticism, although most of it is constructive and legit. The development part of the coins is doing ok despite some delays (the wedding; which i personally believe is a priority in everyone's life) and the delivery will happen in the coming days. Where this coin lacks is attractivity for investors, and we all know well that development alone -unless it is something groundbreaking- isn't enough.

When i first invested in this coin, it was all those good reputation names that made me believe in this project: CryptoAdvisor, Fernand0x, Triplef, RayHernandez and DailyModo. I have to say that until this moment and despite the delays, it has been Fernand0x (head developer) that has done his work the best -and we still have to experience the release of the tor etc this week to confirm that. The marketing part that should be done by CryptoAdvisor, has since the IPO been majorly lacking. I don't know about the communication, but whoever has been doing it hasn't been doing a bad job too and has been responding to the community (although irc, twitter, website, facebook etc have all been lagging behind). The multipool was an interesting effort although it is also lagging behind right now. I mean all this analysis is to show that the reason why this coin isn't where it is supposed to be is not rocket science or some obscure unknown reasons, it's simply because some of the main criteria needed for a coin to succeed have not been fulfilled- and that, most people will attribute to the lack of dedication and effort from the devs.

We do not want to entertain a community takeover or anything yet, as we still have hope and I personally am even ready to give some bounties out to help the coin. We can clearly see that this coin has a community, and if people are still holding and staking is because we believe in the long-term and still have hope. However, we need to see some more excitement, dedication and work before we become even more dedicated to this coin.

A roadmap and a foundation that could treat and concentrate on the aspects that are still severely lacking in this coin would -in my opinion- help promote this coin to where we thought it belonged. I mean:

1) the market cap is so low and the potential is yet to be reached
2) people are not selling their coins or are selling very low quantities on bittrex (which shows out community is a rather strong one)
3) It takes less than 4 btc to get back to half the IPO price from the mediocre price atm (but again we need some strong development and dedication from devs for price to keep rising or tanking).
4) we are ranked number 2 in the voting in polinex.

It is time to kick start once and for all this project and get it to where it belongs. The community is here and doing what it can, devs we need more of your efforts.

It is time for us to bring this coin -as a unified community- to the light. I hope the devs will be backing up their investors and people who have remained faithful to this coin. But that isn't the most important thing, i believe in the potential of this coin and i think it will succeed if enough effort is done. A proper strategy including goals and new implementations, accompanied by some great marketing and management could take this coin anywhere as the base is already set and it is a solid one.

I would like to send a rather long article/message to all the people out there especially those that have been doubting this coin and spreading FUD, and thank the CONSTRUCTIVE criticism that has come along. I would also like to thank the strong people of this young but incredible XC community. It has been a stressful start, but a successful one! This message/article will sum-up everything that has happened today and relate it to what has been said before.

The dev ATCSECURE and the dev team have promised that they will deliver this technology in 3-4 weeks. Now after so much demand, FUD and crisis, ATCSECURE has decided that it would be better for the community to have some proof that his project is well in place and is working, in order to calm things down and provide people with proof that indeed this will be a revolution.

First, people were ok and decided why not a test group of 5. After these 5 people claimed it was working, and even with all the proofs and screenshots, others claimed that if that is the case they wanted to try it themselves. No problem, devs responded and established that (next point).

Secondly, atcsecure in freenode #XCofficial was criticized constructively in that he was told if this technology is working why not try more than just a group of 5. He then responded again and gave access to EVERYONE! So at least more than 30 random people tested this if not a lot more (including myself).

Thirdly people claimed it was easy to fake the unknown in wallet, not only is this criticism undermined by the second point because everyone could test it themselves, but the dev also proposed even a bounty for someone to create a blockchain and that they would use that to prove that this isn’t a simple fake.

Fourthly even a teamview has been established to prove this and all went well.

What more do you want? Do you expect the dev team to send you the source code now and destroy all their investments? No, that’s not smart and will not happen because everyone deserves to be rewarded for the faith they have put in this project and its community.

Listen people, be objective and use your analytical skills (aka your brain). This project was to be implemented in 3 - 4 weeks from now, now everyone who wanted has tested it and it has been proven to work. It is easy to criticize and especially to say shit, but it is extremely hard to build something fruitful. There can't be anymore FUD, constructive criticism has been welcomed and addressed as has been proven in this article. I’m sure more criticism will come, but that is absolutely normal as any innovative, quality and revolutionary project does receive a lot of criticism in its start.

Yes there are still some issues with POS/staking in some wallets and some minor other problems (which will be addressed progressively), but how do you expect a coin that is not even 4 weeks old to be perfect? Especially after bringing such innovative technology and having to deal with all this criticism and add more days of work to address issues such as these that have been addressed now. Now give the devs some space and time to implement their project and work on the coding, marketing etc. as they watch the price skyrocketting...

That is my position right now, and yes I will continue to invest and trust in this community as they have been successful in every way and have been on schedule!
