Dear Secretary General of OPEC HE Abdalla Salem El-Badri, and representatives of the Member Countries !
We send you this letter for the purpose of careful consideration.
In today's world is increasingly taking place in the global market turmoil due to non viability of existing financial systems. Along with that, throughout history, the consumption of petroleum products is growing, and the GDP of many countries depends on the oil price. But the strangest thing about this is that as a result, the budgets of Petroleum Exporting Countries is still directly dependent by the U.S. dollar, the issue of which is not controlled by your country. Likewise, any currency of another country can not be controlled by society, why convert your wealth to the paper?
Our proposal is to replace the instrument and translating the whole system for open electronic payments. Already, we have developed a personalized e-currency to pay for the exported oil - OPEC Coin.
This currency has all the positive characteristics:
1. Limited quantity - ext. emission is essentially impossible.
2. Absolute independence from the current situation on the global and local financial markets.
3. Security operations and asset protection.
4. Practically no costs to maintain system performance.
Sure that for you and for the people of this question is very important, so we are fully prepared to interact with you on the proposal!

Cool things (anonymity, multipool, online wallet, new windows wallet) take time to develop. Anonymity? So you claim this coin will be used for "OPEC Coin goal is to provide petroleum exporting countries an alternative way to receive payments for oil that they export" and you plan to introduce an anonymity feature? If you truly believe in your coin and it's purpose (I don't) you're shooting yourself in the foot with this move. I hope I don't have to explain why... anonymity as we develop it going to be an optional feature. You may use it or not. In fact you will have to pay little extra fee to the third parties to be able to use it. Outside the main goal of OPEC Coin we want to give it potential to be used by everyone just as any other coin. Why would we want to restrict OPEC Coin to be usable for petroleum payments only? |

You are not mistaken I can see that market price has lowered so I guess its time to tell something to those how are in doubt. OPEC Coin team is working on some nice improvements for the OPEC Coin Cool things (anonymity, multipool, online wallet, new windows wallet) take time to develop. sorry guys there was a mistake in the original post. Last POW block should be 12000, not 12100 Pure POS stage have started! what will happen? OPEC Coin dev team is now working on a detailed plan how to reach our main goal 1 OPC = 1 barrel of oil! You are soon going to see: 1) Multipool 2) Online wallet 3) New Win Wallet design 4) iOS and Android wallets 5) Twitter and Reddit tipbots are on the way 6) And we are working on Anonymous transactions as well! PinkCoin has done well by being listed on Poliniex! Anon Wallet is coming along well for them too, and its reflected in the price increase.
We need more development, try to increase price, push for more exchanges, Clever Marketing Strategies can be thrown in the cooking pot for now and better attacked in the POS stages of the coin.
We currently don't have much of a Pot! Keep Mining!
