Ken,

Any chance you can explain where the 320620 Outstanding shares came from that are on CT?

I believe Ukyo's shares were only ~220K so that means theres an extra ~100K on the CT side. Can you please shed some light into what occurred to make this happen?

Thanks,
A longtime silent shareholder

I know it's not an answer from Ken, but let me give it a shot:

If anyone takes a closer look on the books, you can see that right now there are ~120k shares for sale. Most of them should be the ones from UKYO (@.0005, @.0006 and @.001). The rest seem to be shares from folks who bought shares of off these UKYO walls and try to sell these for a profit.
About the last 100k shares: these are the ones that were never sold at the IPO's before the CT-time (See BF and BTCT) and Ken issued these on CT at first to test the system (see the first (test) trades @.01 from I think Ken himself or someone who would pay 0.01 right at the time).
So right now those 100k shares are NOT in the sell book and are not traded! Ken is keeping them right now (they belong to ActM) but they need to be issued to receive dividends later(which go into ActM's pocket, maybe to buy more hashing Power) and that they don't vanishe somehow (dividends would be wrong if those shares weren't issued on any trading site).

That's what I think is going down right now.

EDIT: sorry, quote corrected, am on mobile

Thanks for the update, Ken and the others of ActM!
Keep it up!
Now this actually made me laugh.   What update?   Can you find one detail of anything in the BS that Ken keeps feeding people like you?   Or are you related to him?

You shouldn't read an evaluation into my message if there isn't a clear one.
I appreciate the honest update Ken made, but try to keep my emotions (positive or negative) out of this thread, since it's already a mess.
And even if Ken "only" updated us on Status quo, he kept his promise to post a weekly update!

Thanks for the update, Ken and the others of ActM!
Keep it up!

0.05BTC
Is not enough. please read the thread, I have mentioned it multiple times. Load it at least with a few thousand dollars for it to make any sense. Minimum order size on gox is 0.01BTC, if you do the math you will see that your rebalancing orders would be too small by orders of magnitude.

I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking straight!
Was reading through the code and let it run simultaneously to test it...without thinking about the minimum order size. I will try it again later.
Thanks for your work!
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: goxtool bot: portfolio rebalancing on: December 17, 2013, 06:13:43 PM
I don't know what happened, but my instance isn't responding to the balance command (pressing b)
I tried using websocket and pubnub, tried a new API key and am up to date.

Does anybody how to solve this?

EDIT: I converted everything I got in my account (only 0.05BTC to test, maybe this isn't enough?) into BTC and as I pressed "b" after this, the bot rebalanced (it wasn't balanced before, but it wouldn't do it automatically).
New orders were placed and I will let it run through the night and see tomorrow Smiley

Divs for the past week, not paid.

How will this be handled, hence the situation over at Bitfunder and WeExchange?

Haven't got time to check right now but I think you are factually incorrect on both counts.

Oh and a CEO is not responsible for share price speculation you muppet.

I suggest Ken distribute the dividends to those who have completed the shares transfer, so the shareholder can confirm their shares even the dividends is just some satoshi.

Nice idea, but this would mean a lot more work (unnecessary). Best is to do this all at once, less hassle this way Smiley

And please answer the other questions that were asked!

Nice to hear, that the board is final! Hope this works out in ActM favour.

+1 on the above!

Yesterday I took a look at VMC's site and have to say, that there is a lot to be done.
First steps are done already, I don't want to talk it down, but in regards of CI (Corporate Identity) there is a lot of potential Smiley

First the things mentioned above (logo, broken links, confusing naming and the modular setups are not DAU friendly!)

Since there seems to be no spoiler tag in this forum, the below is only about the site in detail, i just my 2cents! I'm sorry if this gets to much into detail!

I do think that the shop and the actual page have to be more integrated. When on the shops page, it looks and feels differently and there is no way to get back to he actual homepage (I havn't found one, but teach me if I'm wrong).
It just doesn't feel intuitive.
Than I took a look at the mobile version (it's good to have one!) and the first thing that popped into my eye was the big search (if it is well designed I don't really need a search, so a small button would be sufficient).
After that it repeats itself often (I know it's just an early stage website and I don't want to talk it down, I just want to help make it better, since I have an interest in ActM Wink )

"Our Offers"

the two categories and after that "All categories" which leds me to a new page with "Professional Mining" and "OEMs" again.
If I press one of the above buttons with the products it directs me to a new page with "See products" and "Fast-Hash-One-Chips"...Show me the products already! It's confusing.

"Sitemap"

again "Our offers" which directs me to some pages like "New products" and "Price drop"! Never devaluate yourself in front of customers! "These products are worth more than their price!!!"

There are a few more things to do and I do know that this is just a site generated with a template to have one! But this is the image people get from this company and it should be polished! If VMC (ActM) gets to be one of the first companies building AND shipping 28nm gear, this is a pretty big deal!

"Dress for the job you want and not for the job you have!"

Sorry if this got longer than I wanted it to be and I hope this is the right place for my criticism.

Simulation on what? Judging from the ICA 0 driver used and hashrate it looks like an Asicminer Block Erupter USB...?

It certainly does look like an ASICMiner USB Block Erupter. Curious.

is it not porven, that those sticks can't return their prices by mining as a result of diff increase?

this may be true or not, but the matter is another: if this is a pic of block erupter usb stick or some of their prototypes!

Some of you guys need to either not be doing this or accept the risks of trading, especially short term.

The thread is like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Tyooy0SvPlY

re: Share tendering
It is not there so you can make a profit, it is there in fairness to the original AMC shareholders. If you've tendered shares, they'll be transferred. If you get the email in before the deadline, they'll be done. You can't expect them to be Ken's priority. As a long term shareholder I'm glad they aren't. I've transferred a number of shares fine (and within 48 hours), it's only this weekend's which are taking a while. As Streets posted, Ken is on the road.

re: Board
As the original guy who called for one and as the guy who said 'in a few months' was not good enough, I feel qualified to comment on this. It will take several weeks to sort a board out. There are any number of things that have to be worked out and we all know that Ken has to get the deal finished and paid for before he has time to do anything. You don't just ad hoc 'make a board'. That would be a stupid mistake to compound previous mistakes.

re: Share price movements
This is all down to speculators and other IPOs. It is irrelevant for Ken or ActiveMiner who are now actually trying to conduct the business the original investors invested in. That price is going to bounce around like mad given other IPOs, Bitcoin price movements, Satoshi Dice, and so on. It is not moving whatsoever based upon news or non news from ActiveMiner. If you need to be calmed then read the news post from last week or don't watch the market price every minute. I expect much more of this over the next 3 months.

re: News updates
We need regular news updates but we've already been told when to expect the next update. If something important happens before then, I expect to be told, but unless that does then expect no news before a week on Friday.

re: Evidence this is real
Several people here have been conducting their own due diligence, including me (as one of the bigger, newer critics around IPO time). I have even spoken to Ken myself, as have others. Whilst an eASIC press release is what I'm really looking for, I am satisfied this is real. However, I retain overall concerns over securities legislation and all such offerings/exchanges. I am still quantifying that risk somewhat.

In summary, you need to look at your investment choices if you're struggling with the price volatility. My first experience in Bitcoin taught me that day trading is stressful, difficult, and not for me. And if you don't believe this is real then don't invest. Conversely, those who do invest should understand the risk they are taking.

Agree with the things you posted, just because someone is playing the stock-game with this highly volatile stock doesn't mean its background is as volatile as the price movements.

With the transfers: Be patient! Something like this takes time...Maybe Ken does them in alphabetical order, since I am waiting for over 3 weeks right now and my BF acc name is located in the last few letters of the alphabet Wink But since these are just a few shares of my whole stock, it's ok for me...on the other hand, if these were all my shares and I wanted to trade them on a daily basis, I would be a little bit more jumpy about this situation.

So hold your horses, trade if you want to, but be aware of the risk you are taking if somebody scoops up your shares or BTC in the process.
14  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: July 30, 2013, 07:48:22 PM
this retarded dumping has atleast created another wave of arbitrage possibility between btct and bitfunder and strengthened the bid walls significantly. overall this dip has strengthened this asset a lot.

thanks, retarded whales and lemmings.

How can you arbitrage between BF and BTCTC?

1. Sell at one exchange
2. Move BTC
3. Hope that the price hasn't moved in the meantime
4. Buy cheaper shares at other exchange

So what then? You have a bit more shares but the share is worth less.

If you are willing to hold for the long run, this could be a huge (up to ~15% at some point) increase in shares (and thus dividends) and the gap between BTCT and BF should be smaller when this stock gets more stable.

any prediction for the weekly div?

Won't be much I guess, maybe the 5000$ out of the VE's transfer from BF to BTCT Cheesy
I think in Aug/Sep dividends will get more interesting, since now it will only be dust if I am correct. NRE is top priority and those pre-orders paid in fiat shouldn't be converted into BTCs.

maybe ~0.000006/share

Hey there,
since I got no answer to my PM and E-mail, I'll try it in this thread.

Transfered my AMC shares on BitFunder to AMC-TENDER on the 9th! Still nothing...
I hope everything went well and it's only a small delay. Would be nice if this could be resolved (what about the divs I missed, because of this?).

Thanks in advance

Talk to ken on bitfunder's IRC:
https://bitfunder.com/help

He's listed as AMC__

"Talked" to AMC__ on the IRC chat and got no answer. I am still waiting for my shares and the dividends I missed, because of this.
Am I the only one who has problems like this (waiting a week or more for the transfer)? Or are there others with the same problem?
