It is not a virus. That error just says the file is not commonly downloaded. Try clicking on the arrow and see if it gives you the option to download.

Please advice; some transfers were refused using the simplewallet, and now my unlocked balance amount is a lot smaller than the balance amount. I did delete blockscache.dat, p2pstate.bin and poolstate.bin and even downloaded the whole blockchain again, but that did not help. How do I get my whole blance unlocked again?
Delete blockscache.dat, p2pstate.bin and poolstate.bin and your wallet.bin. ( But do not delete the .keys file)

The next version of the GUI wallet is hereYou can grab it from http://sourceforge.net/projects/dashcoinwalletgui/files/dashcoinwalletgui-1.1.0-windows.zip/downloadIt is still Windows only right now. Changes made: - Supports multiple wallets
- Cleaned up and optimized some of the code
- Shows progress while syncing blockchain
- More form validation
- A cancel button has been added to the send page
- Blank passwords are now supported
- Enter key opens wallet as well as button
To import an old wallet, copy the wallet's .bin.keys, .bin.address.txt, and optionally it's .bin file to the wallets folder in the GUI wallet.

Now that miners have moved from Minergate, the blockchain has begun fixing itself. Expect transaction problems to be a thing of the past (as long as miners remain off Minergate).

Is this coin working?
I bought some coins on Poloniex.
After buying them, I transferred some coins (75 MM) to my personal wallet.
Date: 2014-10-26 20:27:21 (GMT +1) Status COMPLETE: 365de80532e55b59d9c68fe429a383da4d5555c6e310845fbe8f070807b77a1c
My wallet is fully synchronized, but it tells me that this transaction does not exist:
print_tx 365de80532e55b59d9c68fe429a383da4d5555c6e310845fbe8f070807b77a1c transaction wasn't found: <365de80532e55b59d9c68fe429a383da4d5555c6e310845fbe8f070807b77a1c>
What is happening here?
Did I lost 75 MM of DSH?
Resetting your wallet by following the instructions on the faq ( http://dashcoin.net/faq/) should fix the issue. Look under "My transaction says sent, but it never showed up."

This is why Dash will not last long. The confirmation work, then they don't for some reason.Slb and AdamWhite have been looking into the issues with the transactions, so they can give a more official response, but here's what I know. Everyone should read this, especially the miners. This is extremely important.Minergate is running an outdated version of the Dashcoin daemon, one that is blocking most transactions that are > 10,000 bytes (which is a lot of them). On top this, Minergate controls 40% of the Dashcoin network hashrate. I remind everyone that cryptonote coins are controlled by the community, the miners. Right now, 40% of them are contributing to a pool which is not including a lot of transactions in the blocks they mine. Minergate has been refusing to reply to any messages sent to them. So, to solve this, we need the help of the miners. To that 40%, please stop mining at Minergate and contributing to Dashcoin's transactions issues. It would be greatly appreciated, by the entire Dashcoin community. Other pools running the correct daemon are: http://dsh.democats.orghttps://www2.coinmine.pl/dsh/http://dsh.extremepool.org/More info can be seen in slb's and AdamWhite's previous posts.

Can someone from the devs to share some info about future plans?
I may not be a Dashcoin dev, but I am a dev working with Dashcoin. I hope this qualifies me to answer. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Slb is working on the Minergate issue right now, and is looking into getting transactions sending properly again. I am currently working on the GUI wallet, and have a web wallet planned for the future.

pwstegman...
I had problems with the gui (win 8.1 / 64bit) I couldn't open my wallet (it didn't do anything), but in my wallet was no password set. If I typed a (wrong) password it was doing something (syncing wallet) but in the log it says wrong password.
I made myself a new wallet (with password) and everything worked fine.
hope this helps for my and other guys problems
Thank you. I will look into this, and will try to incorporate a fix in the next release.

When will the next version GUI wallet be released?
Expect an update this weekend that allows the managing of multiple wallets.

Not sure what's going on with the new wallet today. Last night it was working okay. It let me send a 1 million dash at a time to poloniex. Today I can't even send over 1000 dash. I've restarted the wallet several times. Any help?
+1 This shouldn't be an issue with the wallet, but rather with the network. See slb's last post on the issue with large transactions for an explanation. If however, when you say the wallet is not working, you mean the wallet is throwing errors, then please post whether you were using the wallet command line version or the GUI, and the exact error message it gave. command line work fine but GUI not for me ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) But newer mind i will wait for next version release To anyone who is having issues with the wallet GUI, please post the version of Windows you are running, if your computer is 32 or 64 bit, and what in the wallet is not working (will it not open, can it not open a wallet, etc)? That will help me a lot in figuring out what the issue is.

The wallet will say it cannot find "wallet.bin" (as it was renamed), and it will begin to resync the wallet. When that is done, try to send the transaction again. If the above does not work, then rename wallet.bin to wallet.old.bin, and then go to %appdata%/dashcoin, and delete blockscache.dat, p2pstate.bin, poolstate.bin. Open the daemon, and wait for the blockchain to resync. Then, open simplewallet, and open "wallet.bin". It will say wallet.bin cannot be found (as it was renamed), and it will begin to resync the wallet. Once you are done, and the wallet is working again, you can safely delete wallet.old.bin.

I released Subtoshi about a month and a half ago, so Dashcoin could be traded. Dashcoin has since been listed on Poloniex, and the trade volume on Subtoshi has dropped. As of now, Subtoshi is costing me more to run than it is bringing in. I am glad that Subtoshi was able to get Dashcoin trading going, but now that trading has died down, and for the reasons I stated before, I have decided to close down Subtoshi. Thank you to everyone who used Subtoshi. I hope it provided useful.
The plan for Subtoshi's closing is as follows Deposits will be disabled on October 26th, a week from today. Trading will be disabled on October 31st. After that, the exchange will remain open for withdrawals until December 31st.
I will have a more official announcement later on the website, and will be sending out an email regarding the closing of Subtoshi to everyone who has registered.

I have added the link the Dashcoin Wallet GUI github project to my original post. I have also added it in this post. https://github.com/pwstegman/DashcoinWalletGUIFor those trying to run on Linux, I experienced some issues while running the wallet under Linux, which I am working out.

The Dashcoin Wallet GUI is here! Right now it is Windows only. Mac and Linux builds will come later. You can download it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dashcoinwalletguiThis version contains the following features. It will be updated as more features are added: - Syncs blockchain with network
- Can load/generate a wallet
- Loads balance
- Loads address
- Lists transaction history (sends and receives)
- Can send Dashcoin
Github: https://github.com/pwstegman/DashcoinWalletGUITo import an already existing wallet, copy wallet.bin, wallet.bin.address.txt, and wallet.bin.keys to the same directory as the wallet GUI. Rename the files to wallet.bin, wallet.bin.address.txt, and wallet.bin.keys if they are not already named that.
