I never claimed my presale SYS due to health/ family problems (FML, stupid link https://api.moolah.io/v2/public/ipopair?key=xxx stopped working when I finally found out that I have to do more than send BTC to receive my coins), as Moolah is in prison is there any way to recover my coins? Thanks. Are you claiming tokens almost 4 years after ICO ? I appreciate your joke I can see you were rather active in 2014 and 2015. With no interest in sys.

There is information all over the internet on what to do, when your balance shows zero. Why are people so lazy these days I think its more than a bit unreasonable to suggest that people are being lazy - I found the information and followed the instructions - 10 days ago and still nothing, still pending, it looks like there are plenty more in the same status. This is a joke - either someone stole the tokens and this is a scam or there is a great deal of incompetence going on - This is supposed to be an immutable blockchain, not someone's private database that they can manipulate and zero out our balances. Iota was completely new and immature. The devs inevitably made some mistakes in the beginning You can take it as an emergency tangle "hardfork". Old iota was vulnerable and died and new safer iota was born. You should be grateful to people who protected your balance in spite of your inaction. Your balance is not forgotten. You have become part of new iota automatically and all what is needed is a bit of your patience

Which wallet do you recommend me for IOTA?.
I downloaded from Github IOTA Light Wallet, but when I press "Attach to tangle" to be able to send money to my IOTA Wallet Adress, it fails over and over again...
Any better Wallet?
Try to change settings to "ccurl", min weight 14. This helped in my case. And maybe also try another node.

Is there anyway to cancel a pending transaction? 3 days now my transaction is pending. i have changed nodes, rebroadcast and reattached but no joy
I think you cannot cancel. Maybe you can force doublespend - creating another transaction - but I am afraid doublespending can be dangerous because of the address reuse limitation. I would still try to reattach even after 3 days. Maybe somebody more knowledgeable can help us..

Not sure about the technical side but Arthur and Catherine already proved that they cannot handle the business. It was their effort. People were willing to give money to them on condition that they will use the funds to develop the platform. They lost control of the money. Even a noob would not make such a mistake. A big bag always attracts attention of white collar thieves. Breitmans were stupid enough to invite the thieves themselves

Anyone else experiencing over a 24 delay moving IOTA from wallet to Binance? I've never cashed in any yet and I wanted to see how it worked to go from IOTA to BTC instead of my usual BTC to IOTA. I successfully transferred from wallet to Binance yesterday morning and tried again yesterday afternoon but it STILL says Pending?
Is there a Re-attach technique for transferring IOTA out of wallet like there is for retrieving IOTA into wallet?
Of course you should reattach Well when I hit SEND on wallet there is not option for reattachment, like there is when you hit RECEIVE.. just a blank line for an address. I've already established the address to send to, and would like to avoid sending IOTA out twice to two different addresses. Find your transaction bundle in history and click on it. There you have "rebroadcast" and "reattach" options

Watching with interest But i think we all need more patience. I doubt the wallet can be really good at the moment of release. Everything needs time to mature.

The transfer of assets may happen instantly with the use of our instant transaction feature. This would be ideal for a decentralized exchange. Assets make little sense without DEX. Can sys blockchain marketplace handle this?

My Iota transaction was confirmed in 20 minutes yesterday. My btc transaction (with a decent fee) is still unconfirmed after more than 24 hours.Bitcoin is almost unusable now.

is this always like this? i sent some XCP to poloniex. after the first confirmation the coins where sent to an other address. this must be an other address of polo - according the amount of coins inside... and after the second transaction was confirmed too i still had nothing in my polo wallet - or they still did not show it. strange. EDIT: now the deposit is visible at poloniex. they show me the address and the transaction of my deposit. but this address is empty if you check it with https://xchain.io/. why do polo show this to me? the coins i deposited are no longer in this address....This is normal, is it not? Do not all exchanges do this? Personally I would not use Polo. I left them after their "manual" review of my withdrawals for days.I suspect they run a fractional reserve scheme. They wait for new deposits to make withdrawals possible

I have to react to some posts.
First, Counterparty DEX is not "horrendous". Slow speed and high transaction fees make it unwieldy. Not good for active trading. But it is safe to buy or sell tokens there and safe to "leave" your funds there.
Second, no dex can ever fully compete with centralized exchanges in user experience. There is a trade off between ease of use and safety/freedom. Projects that promise everything simply lie.
Third, people who do not care about decentralization should not hold nvo tokens. It makes no sense as an investment. Except very short term
last, it is disgusting to see people begging to be listed on some shitEX. Any shit is good enough to pump quickly and exit. Yes, you bought on horrendous Counterparty 50% below ICO price, now it is time for a quick shitEX pump

I am rather optimistic about this coin. I think that the dev made the smart move - decreasing the bitcoin airdrop and focusing on new users. Pity he did not do this earlier. Last two airdrops were scary
|
|
|
On the whole this platform aims to be regulated by SEC and similar bodies, right?
|
|
|
why blackcoin burning? Why not bitcoin burning? This way you limit your reach a lot.. Looks like an internal blackcoin community affair. Possibly pump attempt

It is really sad to see such a combination of market manipulation and speculative greed. Many people will lose much money on this coin

is there any way to solve this little issue? or by design is something impossible to change and will always be like that
It is an interesting question. Does somebody know the answer? It is not a new question, and it has already been answered many times before. It is recommended to change address everytime and the wallet does that automatically, but addresses do not expire. Thank you for your answer. We know that addresses do not expire and that they only become less secure. This makes iota less usable in many real world situations. No way to solve this?
|
|
|
will be any way in the future that you can reuse an address you have spend on?
lets say you get donations for dogs at addres "AKWAN99" and after lotof donations, you must use the money to buy things for dogs, so you do a spend transaction, the address "AKWAN99" with this action just filtered part of the private key, so they do not recommend to spend twice on it as you will make public more and more the private key on AKWAN99,
okey, so you must now change the address in the website so you get a fresh unused address,
but what if some people who dont know the change, saved the address and keep sending coins to AKWAN99? you can't stop them, but they force you to spend again to move out the money, making the private key even more vulnerable,
and so on, and so on,
thats the single point of IOTA that might return a bit of problems, as in any alt-coin, paypal, bank account, anything... you can have a static payment address where you can spend and use, move, and so on, and with IOTA it becomes more strange, you can't tell people to always "donate there" maybe some one want to donate, lets say 100 kiota every month, they can't stick to an address and do always the same move like with any other system,
is there any way to solve this little issue? or by design is something impossible to change and will always be like that
It is an interesting question. Does somebody know the answer?

What was the price of 1 Miota on ICO?
You really wanna cry about 0.00015$ as far as i know Miota was less than 50 satoshi (1334 btc ico). 250x price increase in two years ICO was in bitcoins not in dollars 1: it was 0.00015$, because my investment says: 0.00015$*myiotafromico=amount of investment 2:btc or dollar doesn´t matter. 3: it was more than x250 (more like x2500) 4: it was about 30sat 5: weisenheimer It is easy to divide the current market cap (in btc) and the size of the ico (in btc), is it not? Can you do it? People invested their bitcoins. So it makes sense to compare holding bitcoins for 2 years with holding iotas for 2 years. If you insist on counting in fiat, then it would be 6 times more in usd. It would be 100 times more in venezuelan bolivar, maybe. Did you invest your bolivars?
