And it looks like they are at least starting to print labels for B3..So things must be starting to catch up on their end..

Assuming this unit is used. Where would it be shipping from, what method are you planning to use to ship it?

Some of the 1st generation bigger miners can put out insane amounts of heat. I have an Avalon 2 200 GHs miner that I had to put in the attic as it generated soo much heat in my climate controlled computer room that my air handler couldn't keep up with the heat and the room temp went from 74F to 79F with the AC running constantly. I looked at water cooling for my system as well, but I have great ventilation in the attic so was just easier to put it up there.

Here is some info on set-up for these cubes. http://md5live.com/asicminer-block-erupter-cube-setup/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=352658.0I agree that you need a PSU with dual 6-pin PCIe connectors that have sufficient 12V+ AMPs. From experience I think my BE ran fine on the normal speed with dual 20A rails on the PSU. The bitcointalk page referenced above says 28A/rail and that it jams the PSU to max in rush current when it first starts. The other things that were must checks when I got mine were to ensure all the boards were seated correctly and that the fan was plugged in and spinning. The unit will immediately shut off if there is not a proper fan that meets the RPM rating that is expected. If you need a fan replacement at some point I think there is a MASCOOL 2200rpm fan has a high enough rpm. Beyond that when I had mine once it was powered correctly with the fan it would allow IP connection to it to set up the mining information. Good luck..

Have you tried to run the command with sudo?
If you have verified with lsusb -v that you can see the USB device connected to the machine then you should be able to get it going on linux with no issues, I had a machine set up running multiple brands of USB ASICs to both bgminer & cgminer running with different configs so that part should work ok. The thing that I had to do was use sudo to allow the miner software permission to access the USB devices. One I did that it worked like a dream.
Good luck..

From the look of earlier posts and view of the website today. Looks like they had issues with peoples coins and people bailed. There are a bunch of coin pairs showing up on the site with virtually no volume or outstanding trades.
Too bad as the site does look like it might have been nice to use.

Looks like a dev that has things together. Working wallets for both Win & Mac weeks before the launch. Synced very very quickly on both OSes with a working block explorer. Hopefully a couple of exchanges with take note to help this one catch on early and stick.
Good luck...

Interesting concept to only allow in application mining with your client while trying to take power usage into account.
It looks like you are providing precompiled wallets with the mining code in them, are you planning to post the code before the launch so it can be examined to see what it is doing on the client?

I like the idea of the coin. Using hashing power to generate $$ to help causes is a good idea (and being done by other projects, blazecoin comes to mind). Maybe instead of the large premie and the fact that it is being in the possession of the devs maybe you could work with one of the exchanges to have any premie (lower %) sent to them and put in a slice of each block sent to the exchange.
This way you have full transparency as the exchange would have full tracking of the coins in and out. People could easily donate their coins by using an on exchange transfer and if the exchange deals in Fiat they could actually facilitate the exchange of the crypto to fiat for whoever is receiving the donation. Maybe they would even cut some of the fees if the $$ was going to a non profit as they could claim a biz tax deduction.
This could also help keep the network healthy as the constant mining to get the block percentages would continue and there would transparency about the timining of the donation exchanges so that it doesn't look like a dump that may crush the price each time. It could also provide a trading opportunity, much like a stock before/after earnings.
Just my 2cents..
Good luck

If the dev did mine that huge block then he should do what I have seen other coins do and work with bittrex to prove that the coins were destroyed. That will clear up any confusion to this issue otherwise I agree that this one might be dead before it even really gets started...

Seems like hasharder and the wallet and .conf file are all working.. My wallet is syncing and I am seeing transactions start to flow to my wallet.. Good job

Interesting that the launch time is stated as EST as in the US that timezone is currently on EDT so if i interpret the devs desired launch time it should actually be 9PM Eastern US time tonight..

CryptoLTD... Can you provide any more details on "exploits & is flawed". The large premie and scrypt may make it not worth it anyway, but would be great to have all the information possible to help everyone make informed decisions.
Thanks...

Expecting any pools at launch time? Or solo mining with the forthcoming wallet only??

Have you taken any heat measurements with multiple in the same hub? The heat spreaders look like they may help, but the old ones got insanely hot and with a 10X speed increase I wonder how hot these are in a group.

That's why I like to keep some hashes as ipominer all the time. They seem to always jump on the newest coins and they have very few issues...
