Coin received in good standing. Thanks to the seller for the smooth transaction I received the BTC a few days ago. It's an honor to be the person selling you your first silver Cas, MJ. All the best to you

Auction ended. Congratulations to you, minerjones! Let's continue via dm.

Bump. Less than 10 hours left.

Wasn't the .1 Cas Silver the rarest produced, maybe version 1? I'm trying to remember if anyone else does.
Edit: Nevermind, it was the .5 Cas I was thinking of.
Oh, hey msin. It's been a long time. I know you a little bit since the old Nxt days, I had a different username back then. Maybe i'll dm you to joke about the past, I think we might have a few things in common. It is still quite rare with the highest premium for its denomination? but yeah, I think the .5 is rarer.

Ok, I'll probably do an auction the day after tomorrow, will post pics there and post the link here.

Hey guys I have sold a 0.1 silver on here before: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5373855.msg58568988#msg58568988. I have another one I would like to sell, ungraded, really good condition, located in europe. Is this here still the best place, or would anyone prefer scarce.city? I've never used them before. I would use minerjones as escrow like last time. I'll start an auction if there is enough interest.

I'm not sure what happened there at the end, but happy to ultimately have the winning bid. I actually stopped paying attention due to being outbid a couple of days ago. Just now seeing the later stages of the auction.
tritonus, thanks for the pm to let me know. I love working with OGNasty but have had quite a few deals with MJ recently and will just stick with him on this one, which may include getting this graded.
Gratefully Steeley
Very good, I'll contact MJ tomorrow as I reached my limit of 2 pms per day for newbie accounts (lol, did this rule exist in the old days? can't remember). Should I ship it to MJ or directly to you?

Congrats steeley Would you like to proceed using the service of OGNasty or minerjones? General question to everyone: Is it ok to retract a bid in here? FFrankie made a bid of 0.27 that he deleted: https://imgur.com/a/VhD3i3m

A bit more than two hours left.
I have to go to sleep (I'm based in europe), will answer to the future winner in ca. 9 hours.

I would personally peel or keep it tbh… although 0.1 is probably also the only denom I would feel safe mailing anymore at current exchange rates.
Keep yeah…peel No! Although you would make the few remaining more rarer, I would highly suggest you sell for a premium over peeling Pm sent. Sel Peeling a 0.1 BTC Casascius coin would be bordering on insanity. If there is one coin that still demands a hefty premium of more then 100%, it’s been shown to be this one. I wouldn’t even consider offers or even a listing price below 0.2 BTC. There’s just no reason for it. Agree completely. I do understand peeling a brass Cas, but NOT a 0.1 BTC silver. You'll triple your BTC or more by not peeling. Absolutely. I'll start an auction on this sub as soon as I have the capsule and case (this or next week). The auction will last a week and start at 0.1 BTC. I would like to use OgNasty's escrow service. I'm a bit excited to see how high the connaisseurs are willing to bid. Stay tuned.

Jeez - scams seem to be increasing rapidly. Report the post to admin - bottom right corner of message. Well done for spotting it too Ah, thank you! Reported. Yeah, on mobile the linktext looks correct, and when you follow the link, the suspicious part isn't really visible in the address bar. I noticed only after clicking, have to pay more attention.

This forum member sent me a fishy looking dm: Hi tritonus,
I replied to you
url=https://[Suspicious link removed]-topic.534593.0.shokathotelDONTFOLLOWTHISLINK.com/index.php?r=0&u=tritonus&l=5371811.0]https://bitcointalk.oгg/index.php?topic=5371811.0/url
Looks malicious to me? I added the caps lock. Could you ban this user @Cyrus ?

Thanks again everyone for the replies.
I'm torn between starting an auction here, or on ebay..
I'm currently waiting for some compressed air, a capsule, and a case to arrive.

Please do not clean the coin... just use compressed air to blow off any artifacts.
Good suggestion, will try it, thank you. I bought it from an online shop but can't find out which one.. did Mike himself have an online shop back in the days? Hey tritonus. Indeed I am still around here. The beauty of being passionate about something is that you can?t be torn away from it. Good luck with your sale and let me know if there?s anything I can do to assist you in the process. Ah good, yes I'll come back to your service once I want to start the auction. What are your fees? I remember using your service with an old account of mine, sold some mining hardware in 2014 😊.

Thank you everyone for your posts and dms, sorry if I didn't answer to everyone yet. I think I'll go for an auction starting at 0.2 BTC. This could turn out pretty well I guess. But first, some pictures. Took it out of the little plastic for the photos. I'll try to clean off the dust and fingerprints and post some high res pics in the coming days.
