how much his capital to start trading altcoin ?

Without showing proofs I wouldn't believe it. Half the time its probably just scammers trying to sucker people in by showing wads of cash and trying to get them to invest in them for big gains. Wouldn't surprise me if the cash was fake or all of it came from scamming newbs lol.

2-4 to Chesterfield

Had to double check that this wasn't Manchester United lol. Never heard of the team before but seems like a bit of a rip off
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is the new bitcoin forum any good? on: October 11, 2015, 11:15:42 AM
I understand their dislike of censorship, but will you stick with bitcointalk - or go to the new forum?  https://forum.bitcoin.com/  Do you think they can get critical mass there?

What they probably dislike is what they claim has being censored because they dont agree with it but I'm sure they will remove or censor everything else they don't like or agree with. I think people should be free to create and use whatever forum they wish and the best one will surely prevail.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a mobile phone operator that accepts Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2015, 03:47:32 PM
In my country there are sites like crypto de change where you can buy top up vouchers for bitcoin but no operators that accept bitcoin directly as far as I'm aware.

Check em out here https://www.cryptodechange.com/mobile/
5  Economy / Economics / Re: A bankster in the UK wants to ban big bills on: September 27, 2015, 03:42:29 PM
...

A bankster at the Bank of England (Charles Goodhart) wants to ban 500 Euro notes as well as 1000 Swiss Franc (that would be some $1050) notes as well.  That will get tongues wagging in the USA to ban our $100...

I think having 1000 notes is a bix extreme and they must be a big target for counterfeiters but I can't imagine many places accept them. In my country most shops wont accept 50 notes because of the chance of them being counterfeit. In fact it is very rare to see them at all and I have only ever see a couple in my lifetime. Trying to ban them just because criminals use them is sill though but maybe we should ban banks too since they're the biggest criminals.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin= 1M$ tomorrow. What you will do? on: September 11, 2015, 05:12:02 PM
use a wheelbarrow to carry my $10,000 to the store to buy my loaf of bread. Only way it happens is USD Hyperinflation.

Well maybe overnight, but bitcoin could be worth a huge amount is say you could spend it everywhere you could use creditcards or paypal etc. Not sure that'll ever come but I'm hopefully for at least some sort of semi mainstream adoption.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: August 23, 2015, 03:28:16 PM
because of strong hands like us, we can safely say, bitcoin is here to stay.
I AM HODLING Cool

Will you continue to stronghold if it goes to 0? I think holders are only holding until it reaches a price they have on mind. Many would dump if it went over 1k again I reckon.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Is How To Kill XT… on: August 23, 2015, 03:26:50 PM
i don't want it to be called XT its i want Core with a different version number thats all
i don't want it to increase blocklimit by much, increasing block limit is both necessary and controversial, i believe we will achieve consensus

It needs to be enlarged but not to 8mb, the only question is when is bitcoins blocks going to be made bigger and how? This is the problem and I think xt was just trying to solve this by taking the initiative.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: August 13, 2015, 09:01:13 AM
Every month, your employer transfers Bitcoins into a time-locked address that can't be transferred out before you reach retirement age.  You have the key to the address.  You can verify the transfer on the blockchain.

No middle-men.  No funny business.  No brokers with pyramid/eyeball shaped logos.  No "oops we went bankrupt and lost your retirement."  No bail-ins.  No raising the age of retirement.

Just Bitcoin.

Nice idea but you are kinda missing the whole point of "retirement",

which is, a word you use to get idiots to give up their valuables today on promises of getting valuables back far into the future.

I think most people can retire, but its not the lifestyle they would want which stops them from real retirement.

Like getting a bigger house or a ideal car.

If you take out these things, most people can buy a $30k home in las vegas or something and start being smart money.

A house only costs 30k in Vegas? In my country even for a really cheap and run down basic house you'll probably have to pay around 80k USD. I'd like to save my money as a retirement account or to maybe buy a house with bitcoins but I wouldn't rely on it. It's more speculative optimism but I would certainly have a retirement account in fiat too so both would be good.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: August 02, 2015, 04:39:32 PM
Personally I think it would be a great idea to keep some money in bitcoin for retirement. By that age I think bitcoin could be worth many times what it is now. Keeping the other half in fiat would be advisable too but we all know money depreciated drastically especially when they keep printing more and more of it.
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Laundry/Mixer on: July 16, 2015, 06:23:21 PM
How would it be possible to track back to the origin source if the transactions were mixed, broken down and distributed across random intervals- all to different addresses?

Magic. IT would be very difficult to tell and maybe even impossible in some cases but it all depends on  how well they're mixed.

I never knew what exactly House Edge is or what it does.. what will happen if there's dice site with no house edge? It won't work?

There is always going to be some edge or odds against you otherwise how would the house make any money? In sportsbooks they have no house edge but the odds are stacked against you.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was accepted everywhere would you use it? on: July 03, 2015, 06:00:03 PM
Yes, but the plummer next door would not...

Without making security much easier and safer Bitcoin (or any other crypto) doesn't really have a snowball's chance downunder to even tickle FIATs.

Why would the plummer next door not accept it? And I don't think there's anything wrong with the security or safeness of bitcoin. Your coins safety and security is down to yourself but wallets will only get simpler and add more security features as time goes on.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the reason why Satoshi didnt use his 500k-1Million Bitcoins on: July 03, 2015, 05:56:54 PM
I don't think it's likely that he's dead. He was still active for a bit and never spent them. Does anyone know the value of his coins when he was last active on the forums here?

A secret weapon Wink

He could sure afford one.
15  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Full member account on: June 17, 2015, 02:09:35 PM
Can you prove ownership by a signed message from an address, because that's what a handful of users are going to ask you  Grin.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2015, 01:54:10 PM
I've always said buying and holding would be your best bet. I think Bitcoin rose by 7% recently so there's a bit of profit there. I'm sure we'll see hundreds of percent in profit eventually if we have the patience.

yes there are some, that accept bitcoin and when you can play texas holdem or free roll

like betcoinpoker

Great thanks, i would give it a shot this weekend to see if i still have the texas holdem spark in me, game face on!

Ha, I thought vod was back by your avatar.
17  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] **Member account** on: June 04, 2015, 05:24:52 PM
What do you mean trust 3? It has three feedbacks or a green trust score of 3? And no, time logged in has nothing to do with activity. Thats how many two week periods you've posted in.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin 0.8.7.0 Released - The NeoScrypt Update - Hardfork block 432,000 on: June 04, 2015, 05:15:39 PM
They should try keep their forum presence on here as it's more likely to catch others interest. Their forum was completely dead the last time I checked just like most other alt coin forums so pointless preaching to the choir.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2015, 04:01:16 PM
at least bitcoin should rise from a mathematical point of view, but we know that nothing is certain

You seem to be contradicting yourself there. Which is it? Certain or uncertain? Mathematics is certain, but the value of bitcoin is not.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do so many people refuse to sell losing coins? on: May 18, 2015, 03:59:02 PM
Why do so many people refuse to sell a coin that's consistantly losing money when they bought it at a high price, yet they would have no problem selling it if they bought it at a lower price? It shouldn't matter one way or another what one paid for the coin. After all, a dog is a dog no matter what it costs. Any ideas?

Because they're stubbornly holding on to it in the hope that they can recoup their money but the best practice would just be to let it go and recoup what you can. Alt coiners will never learn, though.
