1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: As a derivative trader, do you send money to wallet after you close position? on: September 19, 2025, 11:32:53 PM
I just hope that some of us can be able to control our greed sometimes and at that we some time fine it hard to manage ourselves through with alot of things. Some time having the control over your greed and using a relatively low leverage with a long position is what is mostly needed and effective, since majority of time we tend to lose more when we exhibit greed while deciding the leverage position we open.
Greed will eventually follow if we have all of the funds stored in exchanges. Individual will start maximizing their positions just because they have sufficient funds kept in their exchange but they do not realise that they are risking all of their money specially on future trades. Spot trades are at least easier where we don't have to utilise all of our balance to maintain margins. Spot traders can keep all their funds on exchanges but for future traders, yes it will be recommended to withdraw profits and store them away which can't be used for excessive trading.

A lot of funds will make us trade excessively. This will make us end in losses. Controlling the greed is actually difficult but once mastered, can give us small but stable profits. Greed can only be reduced if we do not see huge funds stored on exchanges.
Greed is a high possibility that can cripple into anyone at whatever point in time, and before you know it, you are already moving a direction of what your greed is putting at your face, and the outcome of that could be unfriendly for you as a gambler, that is the reason I have always be at the side of always checking to know how much I leave in my trading wallet, and if I make profits I makes that I take the profit out immediately.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: politicians gambling on: September 19, 2025, 11:10:34 PM
You are right there, the constitution of most countries prohibited politicians and other public figures to avoid gambling and if caught doing so they may risk losing their position, the reason is that, gambling is risky and have alot of forces that can make someone act in a way that is not responsible and for that reason government place alot of restrictions and regulations on gambling activities within it system.

I think these is a good reason for this aside from how gambling is viewed by many in the society which might also affect the image of a politician, supposedly a leader to multiples when holding public office.

As a politician in office, you are always in control of public funds when well placed, these are funds that is used in the running of a jurisdiction and when mismanaged, it could lead to the suffering of the people you are meant to lead.

Now we all know how gambling could be tempting and an addictive place, should a politician taste those shores, we could as well be kissing a lot of those public funds goodbye.
Yes and to avoid the worst case scenario that is the reason why government place a blanket banned on gambling in some environments or work places, and in my country, you can't contest for an election if you have history of gambling, this is to protect government money and the image of the office that you may be aspiring for in the election.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: without investments would there be wealthy? on: September 19, 2025, 10:50:17 PM
You can't just be wealthy without doing something i believe you must start from some where, learning of skill is still part of the investment it can be called self investment Because you can be rich through the skill learnt, when a father is also spending money on his children through education it is also an investment after the education a good job can come from it the father will benefit so the way of success is through investment having it multiple we invest to earn so without investment it will won't be easy to become wealthy unless you are into money rituals of s thing.

Self investment is different from an actual investment. Learning a skill can be considered to be a form of self investment. When you get the skill done, it is also better you invest more into yourself first before another investment. There is always a time for everyone, when you dont invest in yourself, you wont grow and get the kind of money that is needed to invest in other things. You must be financially stable if you want to invest in either Bitcoin, stock market or real estate. One thing you should also know is, all the investment takes some period to yield result. It is not an immediate result thing.
Skills is the first investment anyone can build for the long term gains that comes from it, alot of time we have seen people who go broke again after having so much money but failed to invest in building knowledge and skills that sustain them at the top and so they hard to drop down, before the wealth will stay, knowledge is the foundation for that, so we can say that all of them will definitely combine to make someone successful.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Was gambling a reason for you to discover Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies? on: September 19, 2025, 10:42:26 PM
No, I have been gambling way back before Bitcoin was created, I'm sure Satoshi was still in college when I started gambling. It's been like more than 2 decades now or more.

We can't deny that fact that gambling contributed to early Bitcoin adoption more than anything else and I stand to be corrected.
We have some old gamblers around here and you must really be one of those OGs we have around here, being an active gambler for more than two decades isn't a joke and you are still very active gambling, that shows the level of your gambling control, Bitcoin have played a role in cryptocurrency gambling, and the support that comes from that is the exposure that Bitcoin gainered from all the gambling activities online, this have changed the face of things from the old way to a new more improved one at this point.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we have BNB at 1.5k EOY? on: September 19, 2025, 10:18:23 PM
BTC is currently heading back to ATH and major alts are also pumping with it, sol, bnb, eth etc, the major one that caught my attention is bnb which hit a new ATH this morning of 1k. My question now is if BTC maintain this momentum, can we have bnb at 1.5k by the end of the year or? I am sure other tokens like solana and ethereum will also reach new highs
2025 is almost winding up, although we have few months to go in this year, but then we we need to point to some facts that may or may not propel the price of BNB to reach that height such as it role as the sole coin for gas fees on the binance chain, and the recent diversion of interest to binance chain because of it low transactions fees, all that will contribute to keep the price of BNB soring high at will. Bitcoin is going to keep mounting that pressure for the entire market to thrive with in the remaining days of the year 2025.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who got the ZKC airdrop? on: September 19, 2025, 10:11:53 PM
Well I do not hunt for the air drops alot any more. I did not even know this air drop was going to happen.
I did read about it and saw it do lose 50 percent after the air drop. I do think this does happen alot with the free air drops. The hunters just do sell their free coins and well now we see what does happen to the prices.
https://www.ccn.com/analysis/crypto/boundless-zkc-token-price-tanks-mainnet-launch-airdrop-flood-sell-off/
50% is quite huge and the impact and implications of airdrops and bounty coins distribution before launching in exchange, this have been the Faith of most new projects lately, those that don't have experience always fall into the trap of getting their projects on a bad footing from the activities of Airdrop hunter who drag the price down, so much with no hope of recovering, the coin may have zero support and that will most likely keep the price down for long.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: politicians gambling on: September 19, 2025, 10:04:07 PM
Because of the symbolic role of leadership and patriotism, people expect leaders to be disciplined, transparent and focused on governance. We all except a lot from politicians positively and that,if a leader is seen gambling it breeds disrespect, distrust and corruptible influences.
9  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Must everyone invest in Bitcoin? on: September 19, 2025, 09:50:14 PM
I had a conversation with someone outside this forum and my choice of topic "Must everyone invest in Bitcoin" was his question, it's a nice question for someone that's willing to know about Bitcoin so I decided to bring it here to know the opinion of members of our Local board.
Well my own opinion and reply to him is that it's a matter of choice, Bitcoin investment is not forced on anyone, yes anyone can invest in it but must be willing and should have the necessary requirements to do so, moreover it's not the only investment option and there are lots of others like Real Estate, Gold, Stock, and even Commodities like agricultural, petroleum/natural gas, livestocks etc.
However since Bitcoin is a modern form of investment, the best digital asset and has become a very reliable asset that can generate good profits for long-term it would be nice to seize the opportunity of investing in it as it's still very early compared to when the price would go higher in the future, hopefully.
Sometimes i see this kind of discussion and questions as a waste of time, if anyone ask me this kind of question if is a most for everyone to invest in bitcoin, seriously i will not waste  my time answering this kind of question because is absolutely clear that that person have zero interest in bitcoin so what is the need to get him involved any ways.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The rich is hugely favoured in gamble. on: September 19, 2025, 09:40:00 PM
Relatively, your points are valid but the thing is the rich gamblers are often smarter, they aren’t truly favored they just have more money to risk, more tolerance for losses, and more visibility when they win.The rich often gambles from a place of confidentiality, they usually place larger bets,So when they win,the reward looks huge making it seem like they are more luckier or favored.

Money will give the rich gamblers an edge while gambling that is a fact and for some reasons, alot of the rich gamblers even make better choices than the poor gambler's since they are never under pressure for whatever reasons. The only thing is that, poor folks tend to gamble more and this is based on research and proven to some extent.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is CZ Suddenly Shilling $ASTER? on: September 19, 2025, 09:26:32 PM
I thought this was just a shilling topic and was a lie and was trying to get attention from people as well. After all, it's a shitcoin, and posted by some jr. member, so I assumed it was a full on shilling and a spam and nothing more. Then I went and checked to see if CZ really did, fully assuming that he didn't posted about it, and then I would come back here and say that OP is a spammer and liar. You know what I found?

CZ did actually posted about it! That's actually a huge deal, I know a few more other projects CZ did share, one was their bitcoin debit card project or whatever, so this isn't the first time, but in 3000 days, he posted about maybe 2 or 3 other projects, and Aster (first time hearing them) actually did something cool. My apologies to OP, he was right.

Alot have being going on lately and thank goodness you never just jump into conclusions with your assumption and you went back to check, that reveal how messy some of those big names in the cryptocurrency Industry getting into all those memecoins craze and shilling for whoever is ready to pay. CZ have become less busy lately now that he is off as Binance executive person.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: 👑🏆👑BITZ.io Cryptocasino| 5 BTC Daily withdrawal | $1.5kk lvl up reward 👑🏆👑 on: September 19, 2025, 09:08:37 PM
It's so cool that the casino is correcting its mistakes and paying money to customers.
Bitz Casino, you are great.
Your reputation has increased even more.
Do their have issues with delayed payments before, I think I have just noticed something like that from your comment or am I just misunderstanding your point here, bitz casino have gained some traction here lately and we are going to be interested in anything that relates to it reputation but from the look of things, their gat everything under control, for that reason we can be confident to bet on theirs casino.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you find a new crypto casino? on: September 19, 2025, 08:52:28 PM
It's strange that when I searched on Google, CoinCasino didn't appear, what I see is the following:

Of course, in this photo, the only very reliable casino is Stake. I'm not just saying this because I'm in their campaign. I'm saying that I place my sports bets at Stake every day, and they offer a very good service. They have a good bonus, fast withdrawals, and low withdrawal fees. Now, about knowing if a casino is reliable or not, in my opinion, the only reliable place to know if a casino is reliable or not is this forum. That's why I always advise people to come to this forum first, search this forum, and choose the best casino. Other places have many fake reviews.

Same. I see that Bitcoin.com has a snippet now, and they don’t promote Coins Casino at the top. But on the other hand, number 2, 3, and 4 — CasinoBeats, RavenZone, and CryptoNews — all have Coins Casino as their #1, and those sites usually rank high on Google. It’s a constant battle.
Funny thing is the criteria use to make this ranking, sometimes we may miss out on alot of things if we rely so much on the results that we get from all this review sites and platforms, Google could be trusted any ways and with the image shared we can see that the top 5 are all known reputable casinos that we have here in the forum.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the probability of Bitcoin reaching its ATH in September? on: September 19, 2025, 08:06:18 PM
This month so far currently stands as the best performing month for bitcoin
But I believe ATH should start creeping in around Uptober. Q4.
Maybe this month would serve as consolidation to prepare for the pump.
This month and the previous two months can be said to be the best performing. Months for Bitcoin and Bitcoin undeed created some records that will take along time to be broken, we haven't seen the kind of market growth that Bitcoin saw in terms of how many times Bitcoin did an all time high, so if it takes up to October to December before we see another all time high price record again, is not totally bad at all.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The rich is hugely favoured in gamble. on: September 19, 2025, 07:54:59 PM
I definitely agree with this idea because the fact is that gambling was originally designed for the rich and not the poor this is the main reason why you don't see many rich people getting addicted to gambling but the poor, this is because the rich people don't need to crack their head with accumulating plenty of odds they can pick one odd that has a high chance of winning and decides to use a very huge money in placing the game and the probability of winning will be high. But the poor due to lack of money to play will be targeting huge amounts of winning with just small amount of money by accumulating plenty of games which end up losing.
Why do we have so many gambling houses and shops within the poor people environment and have only banks and other financial institutions around rich people environment, this shows that gambling is mostly aimed at the poor much more than the rich no rich man will want to gamble with his money just because he has it, but poor men are wasteful in nature and at that can put in small, small amount into gambling much more than the rich people.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering casino bonus on: September 19, 2025, 09:08:01 AM
Had someone similar experience? To be honest I received bonuses quite a few times and this is only time I managed to wager it completely.
What I noticed in casinos is that the requirements needed to be accomplished before you can be able to win a bonus is very hard. The casinos make sure that almost all gamblers given the bonuses will not win it. So it is just part of their business strategy to keep their players and also not make them really win. At the end, the players will still be losing in overall.
Casinos will never give you a free Money so for that reason, their definitely attached with bonuses any possible requirements that make you work hard for the money and at most times you may not end the session well on a winning note, the reason why casino give high wagering requirements is to keep the gambler down and almost impossible to win something out from those bonuses.

18  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: As a newbie, don't invest what you cannot HODL for long-term on: September 19, 2025, 12:27:59 AM
You are notnfar from then truth of the reality with many newbies and even established old members, they go about opening trade positions or buying a coin that their dont have long term plans of holding and expecting the coin to do 10x if that doesn't happen and the price goes against their predictions, they quickly panic to sell at a lost.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which can be more addicting? on: September 19, 2025, 12:05:59 AM
Depending on the gambler, most people can be addictive when they pays more attention to the gambling site while most people can be addictive when they often win. On a norm we should know that immediately there is winning it boost our interest to gamble where if such person doesn't control themselves very well they often turn into addiction because they would be wanting to always win whereby they wouldn't mind or even control and regulate their gambling activities and before you knew it they easily becomes addicted to gambling.
That is the thing, regardless of if the gambler take any approach as long as there is no control, he will definitely slide into addictions, since what get them addicted is their greed level while gambling, alot of those that have fallen to that state can tell of how fast it is to be addicted when you allow greed into you as a gambler regardless that you either use small amount of money or big amount to make the bets.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who do you blame? on: September 18, 2025, 11:56:46 PM
I agree, blaming others for your own losses is a sign of irresponsibility...we must learn to hold ourselves accountable for the losses that we incur in gambling because we are the ones that made the decision of staking that amount of money....this is why it's very important to always be cautious of our stakes, gambling with what you cannot afford to lose can end up becoming a problem

Yes, and that is what many must learn to understand, in fact when we do not understand this we should not play, it is something like if you do not know that the house advantage exists then you should not play either, that the casino is a company and needs to have income is Something that we must understand too, sometimes many may ignore these things and that is why we begin to have problems.

Just as you win another person is losing, same thing with casinos too their are business entities that operates on revenues, how do you expect them to source out the money their pay in winning is someone is not losing to the house, this is a fundamental thing that we must understand in other not to keep mixing things up as regards to how and why we lose ing gambling.
