So, I have a 1246 that has been running well for a while now, but recently began restarting randomly. I ran aging process, no change to behavior. I literally sat and watched the log for about an hour and was able to grab it right before it restarted, did this a couple times.

PVT is coming back with a negative value for some chips, at least one chip on each board. NOT the same chips each time....

Any thoughts? This unit has also been previously updated to a firmware directly from Canaan support

If it does not work try the Aging to refresh your miner you can find it on FMS tool.

I have looked everywhere and can't find the actual syntax required to run this command, I have FMS, can see everything, but have no idea what to actually type in the diagnose command window. Any help or links to documentation on commands would be awesome!

Also have 3 s19, 95th; two are stock and running 93/95th; one has Vnish on it and is averaging about 106th(3500 watts). Not sure on price for these, around 7k? Shoot me an offer if you're interested.

What email did you use to contact them? I had an issue with my 1246 and I'm trying to get a new hashboard. No idea if it's under warranty still.

I used support@canaan.io

HOWEVER, they are forcing me to use my reseller; he is refusing to accept it. Saying China is restricting what is sent through customs, and now canaan has stopped responding to me at all.

Thanks all! I have identified the board.

As a bonus, the machine is still under warranty so I am working with Canaan on that now. Once I got in touch with them, they have responded within 24 hours to each email from me.



To add to everyone's random information bank....

It appears that the ECHU ( 0  0  0) in the log represents the ports on the control board (looking from the back of the machine) (Left, Right, Middle).

Dumb question, but can't find the answer, which direction do they number the boards?

Looking at the back of the machine, is #0 on the far right, or left?

I did swap the ribbon cables, but amongst the 3 boards, not with a known good one, will do that later tonight.

Canaan sent a new firmware for me so it would run on less than 3 HB, here is the log now:

Which pool are you using? I hope a good one..

Currently viabtc, but did switch to see if that had any effect, it did not. Any ideas from the log?

Have a couple 1246's, all from the same seller over the past 4 months. Just got one and they said they tested it, sent videos etc. Got it and plugged in and it won't hash. I swapped control board from another working unit, still didn't work. Changed PSU with another unit, still didn't work.
I feel like it is something stupid I am missing.

Any help appreciated!

Edit: one fan was unplugged when the log was copied.
