Maybe someone here would want to take the lead to compile a list of buyers who bought from Simon and has not received their miners?

I bought a Moonraker warp 2 from him. No news from him since then.  Cry

I want to know what functions are working in the bot. I bought about 0.25 worth of GNS, and I was able to setup the trading bot. However the functions I am getting is exactly the same as it is on bittrex. Am I missing something here?

Have got my order of warp 10 from Simon with a delay of 1 month. I PAID for an in stock product. NOT preorder. Now there's a price difference and also the loss for mining if I could have started earlier.

I have sent numbers of emails and none of them were replied within a day. It usually takes at least 5 days for a reply from Simon.

I say BEWARE, with this kind of shitty service, any warranty given by HASHRA or promises are just BULLSHIT.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Beware of buying from HASHRA (not shipping, pricing practices, communication) on: July 11, 2014, 12:33:36 PM
I had to file a compliant with 2 checkout to get a response from Simon. I emailed several times about cancelling the order since over two weeks had passed from the time I had expected shipment. I also opened a Paypal claim (probably not an option for everyone).

After opening the claim with 2checkout I got a canned response from Simon apologizing for the delay and that my miner had a tracking number soon. I responded for him to cancel the order, or make some concession for the lost mining time and price change, but have not got a response. I am going to try to get my money back from Paypal and see how things are going.

I understand customer service is hard for a small business but you have to respond to your customers, not only when a third party forces you to.

I finally got an email from Simon last night telling me I'll get my tracking number today at noon(GMT+8). Still no tracking no.

Hi Derek

I am very sorry for the very late response from our end.

I will spare you with the details but we have been extremely short staffed.

I have been assured that you will get the tracking number for your delivery tomorrow around noon our time here in Hong Kong.

I am very sorry for the lateness in all of this and the very late response from our end also in communicating with you.

Kind Regards

Simon

Latest email from Simon.

I still have not received any tracking info or any status update regarding my order since payment confirmation on 27th of June. (International Bank Transfer on 17th of June). No email, no call, no nothing.

Still no words from Simon.

Ordered on the 28th, not a bean since. No response to any emails.

Right hacked off right now.

Just to let you know guys, I received an order update email this morning with my tracking number, my order was shipped on the 3rd (order placed on the 28th) and it is out for delivery today.  I just wish the order was updated last week as it would have prevented all this worry about being ripped off and this negative feedback.

Was the email from Simon himself? As I have not received a single thing from Simon since 27th of June.

Order placed and paid on the 17th of June via International Bank Transfer. Bank has confirmed transaction on the 23rd of June.

However Simon confirmed payment on the 27th of June which took him quite a while.

Sent emails almost daily to Simon since 27th of June. None of them was replied, both support@hashra.com & info@hashra.com did not reply any of my emails. My order was a  Lunar Lander warp #10.

Not a first time buyer, was one of the few who preordered when this product was launched, and this is the kind of treatment I get in return for helping Hashra making his miners a reality.  Angry

No it wasn't a personal reply, I didn't receive a personal reply to any of my emails, although all I asked for was an update on the status of my order. It was the automated message you get when your order gets updated.  It got updated to Shipped, I checked the tracking number at FedEx and remarkably it was out of delivery today.  I've received it now and it's all in good order.  I paid in BTC, so perhaps that's why mine went through quicker?

I'm sure you will get yours and I know how frustrating it is just not knowing anything.  My take on things is that if you keep good honest communication with your clients, then most people can deal with delays/mishaps or whatever you want to call them.  No communication is almost as bad as someone feeding you BS, especially in this industry where distrust is high because of all the scams.  No surprisingly, I think we all fall in to the "I've been scammed" train of thought very quickly so keeping good comms with your clients is vital to prevent that.

I can only imagine that Simon is either struggling with the admin side of things under heavy demand for his product or he's being shafted by his manufacturer in terms of manufacturing and/or delivery times.

I really hope you get yours soon mate.

Beanhead.

Thanks Beanhead. Appreciate your thoughts. Really hope Simon and I will get in contact soon and I will update here. Frustrating as hell. Besides delivery, there's still a price difference that needs to be refunded, I can already imagine the pain going through that after delivery.  Embarrassed

Over a week now since I placed my order and still no communication.

Think I'm going to make a complaint to their payment processor, hopefully they'll put their account on hold.  At least then they can't take any more money from consumers.

Has anyone heard anything from Hashra or had a delivery recently?

I have not gotten any replies from Hashra/Simon yet, since 27/6/2014. However I have spoken to a few buyers who complained in this thread earlier https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=659732.20

Most of them got their units. Still, I need a reply from Simon regarding my order.

Is there some way to get further diagnostics such as temperature via the raspberry pi for the Hashra? I ask earlier but got no answer and the summer heat is starting to kick in so the issue is going to need addressing asap.

There's no way to do it internally unless you can plunged in a wire temperature sensor or use a thermometer gun like I always do. I live in Malaysia where heat is around 27~34celcius all year round. The hottest point on my miner is around 57celcius which is cool enough. Just make sure you place in a well ventilated room/area, open the windows if you can.

In the interest of transparency, I'm posting my experience with HASHRA, here's a log of the transaction:

JUNE 12th:  Bought a LUNAR LANDER WARP 1, 26+Mh/s, noted the 3-7 day bank hold which was fine. Interestingly, the initial status for the order was Awaiting Fulfillment.

JUNE 17th:  I log into my account on HASHRA.com, to find that the order status had been changed to Pending. Also, I noted HASHRA stopped selling the LUNAR LANDER and is now only selling multiples of the LUNAR LAUNCHER, of which their LUNAR LAUNCHER WARP 2, 28+Mh/s package was selling for the same price as the LUNAR LANDER WARP 1. I contacted HASHRA via their order messaging system to see if we could come to an agreement on making up the difference between the 2 products since the differential between my order and the change in their product line-up was only a few days. Here's the exchange:

Code:
BTR: What is the status of my order, seeing that you no longer sell Lunar Landers? Are you going to ship me a Lunar Launcher Warp 2, with an additional Raspberry Pi, or refund my money?
Code:
Simon: We do still have some in stock for now, just going forward we cannot produce anymore till we get the new component form the supplier.
As soon as we get the all clear from our card processor we will ship out. Should be in the next day or two.
If you have any questions then please do get in touch.

Kind Regards
Simon

JUNE 23rd:  I start posting questions on the HASHRA for sale thread asking if anyone else is having issues getting product shipped:  http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=601217.msg7469106#msg7469106

I also reach out to Simon again via their messaging system on HASHRA.com:
Code:
Simon,
Since my order is still in Pending status, and has not been fulfilled under your own 3-7 day bank hold nor your "next day or two", please cancel my order and issue a refund.
-BTR

I get no response to this message.

JUNE 24th:  I message Simon again, with the following message:
Code:
Simon,
If I don't hear from you in the next 24 hours, I'm starting an investigation with my credit card company and posting on every forum I can find that you're defrauding the community.
-BTR

Again, no response to this message on their system.

JUNE 25th: I get (2) PMs here on the forum from Simon, stating that he's been having "horrible shipping delays" and that he wants to look into my order personally.

Then, as if by magic, I get a email notification that my order has shipped via SF-Express, tracking #902051820331

We'll see if the order shows up, and what hardware will actually be in the box.

JUNE 25th UPDATE:  Simon has responded to my message via the HASHRA ordering system and is working the issue.

JUNE 26th:  Simon and I have agreed to terms on how to close the issue and complete the transaction.

JUNE 27th:  Simon states that he'll have things settled per our agreement within 24 hours.

JUNE 30th:  No update from Simon since June 27th, asked for an update today.

JULY 1st:  Contacted by Simon, terms of of settlement have been executed. Will update when things have been confirmed.

JULY 2nd:  Shipment has arrived, but is NOT a Lunar Lander Warp 1, I've been shipped a Lunar Lander Warp 2. This contradicts what Simon told me earlier (having Lander units on hand to fill orders, but experiencing shipping delays) but I won't complain too  much b/c I effectively got the current price for 28Mh/s, albeit 2 weeks late.

JULY 2nd: UPDATE  Confirmed that the other terms of our agreement have been executed.

JULY 4th - After-Action Report:  If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy from state-side company like ZigHash or GAWMiners. They seem to be geared up for the business of servicing the miner community. I feel like Simon is doing this part-time, and that he'd rather be selling volume to authorized distributors, and I can't blame him for that.

Latest update from BringTheRain. Looking forward to the miners.

I really really hate to jump to conclusions, but anyone reading this who is thinking of ordering, I would advise to wait until we get news about our orders.

If they have skipped with our bitcoins, I would rather than no one else get their bitcoins stolen.

I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation, but I am a paranoid person at heart so I would advise caution currently.

Sorry Simon.

Been searching through the net.

Found out Blackminer.com (http://blackminer.com/news/) are shipping Lunar Launchers. Updated on the 1st of July, which also means they just got it from the mail.

Maybe Simon prioritize his resellers more than us customers, just saying. but seriously, where the hell is Simon!?

Has anyone heard from Simon this last week?

I ordered my second LL on the 28th, the order is still saying awaiting fulfillment even though the website says "in stock". I've had no reply to a couple of emails I've sent asking for an eta.

Getting slightly miffed now at the lack of reply and contemplating asking for a refund.

I have placed a second order on a Lunar Lander warp 10 on the 17th of June, got payment confirmation from Simon on 27th of June (which is a joke). My last email from Simon was on the 27th of June 2014 the same day he updated my order status. This is the 7th day he has not replied any of my emails. Getting a little worried here.

Where the F is Simon?  Huh

Good morning everyone! I have just gotten an email from Simon! They had a nightmare with the shipping company this past week and everything should be on schedule for this next week!
Thanks,
Jacob

Good to hear!

Here are some quick facts for Hashra's Lunar series I gathered while talking to Maurice from their support team via email

- Hardware Errors are to be expected. These miners use a certain type of chip and it is bound to give hardware errors. To compensate for that they run slightly above their intended speed, mostly negating the Hardware Error aspect. In my case, I get about 6% HW errors which most gets too.

- 55C is a fine temperature, it is in fact colder than it can operate safely under. Everything under 60C is considered safe, above 60C but under 70C is recommended to add cooling. Over 70C is too hot, but they won't melt. The lifespan will decrease if they run too hot for too long, proper ventilation (venting warm air to the outside) is the best way to cool the devices.

- The miner will NOT automatically shut down if it gets too hot, so check your temps frequently. They CAN melt if they overheat. Recommended to place the miner in a well-ventilated place with a window that can be open at all times, so the hot air can escape to the outside. If this is not possible, you can try placing heat-sinks on top of the miner and an additional fan in the room. This will help cool the device more if it gets really hot.

- CGminer uses port 4001. Therefore you can setup CGmonitor from playstore using port youripaddress:4001. Remember to portforward port 4001.

Setting up remote control for your miner

For those who has a dynamic IP address, please use services like noip, dydns.org etc. In this example I will use noip. Link: http://www.noip.com/

1. Sign up an account with noip.

2. After signing up/logged in. Add a host to your account.

3. Once you have added a new host, download the client.

4. After downloading and installing the client. Run it, then sign in with the username and password you have created earlier.

5. After logging in, click on edit hosts.

6. Then make sure the host you have added earlier is checked, then click on save.

7. You should be getting three ticks, if you are not sure, click on Refresh Now. As long as DUC client is running in the background, the client will update your hostname every 5 minutes with the latest WAN IP address.

8. Next will be setting up your router, please note that I am using a TP-link router, other routers will be similar. Portforward is also known as Virtual Server or vice-versa. Port triggering or setting a DMZ host will not work in this case this is because a few other software/web management app uses port 80 as well. Setting up a different/unused external port is the only way to redirect you to the "port 80" on your hashra controla correctly.

9. Once all done, you can try logging in to your miner via your mobile phone on 3g network. Type eg. yourhostname.noip.me:4002

WARNING: REMEMBER TO CHANGE YOUR DEFAULT PASSWORD FOR MINER, ANYONE WHO KNOWS YOUR WAN IP ADDRESS OR YOUR NOIP HOSTNAME TOGETHER WITH THE PORT WILL BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS OF YOUR MINER.

GOOD LUCK setting up remote control.

P/S: Please feel free to pin this up or quote this if you think it's useful.

The latest version 1.4.7.5 for CONTROLA it is a failure.
If you want to edit / delete a pool the system frozen, and you must to unplug to power cable form the ASIC and the PI in order to start again.

The version v1.4.6.5.1  works fine !

Was your miner turned off when doing that? I had problems switching priority orders before this, the whole system would be stuck, and a reboot was needed. Then I realized that my miner was actually turned off!

The Pi wasnt able to detect the miner in order to send new commands. That's why it was stuck.

I would like to say that I'm impressed but I never do less than .0023 daily and I've seen .0035 to .0045 a few times.

right now for today since 5:30 this morning I'm at .00258 and hope to finish by tomorrow morning at .003 for the day - we shall see.

Smiley

Wow! that's impressive. How are you doing so well with the miners. Do you mind giving me some guidance?  Thank you in advance! Smiley

Guys - I have to warN you about something. I just took a look at coinking and that multi pool is a house of cards.

their earnings are bogus because they're valuing flappycoin at 1 satoshi and that would be great if YOU COULD SELL THE FRIGGING THINGS.

They are mining flappycoin as part of their pool and there's not a single BUY order anywhere on any of the exchanges for Flappycoin - I'd hate to see you wind up with a bunch of coins you can;t even sell.

do your homework as to what these people are mining - IT'S MINER BEWARE!

I JUST DID THE MATH AND WITH MY HASH - I could mine 328,000,000 flappycoins each day and at 3.28 BTC - BUT THERE ARE NO BUYERS!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I know how it feels when people do not appreciate your opinion. What can I say, hmm.. they are nobody to you anyways. Just do what you do best mate.  Tongue

But would still love to hear some advice from you. =D I read about mining new coins before the others notice, but how? like how do you decide on which coins to mine. Please teach me sensei...  Cry Wink
