Yes, they are legit and most active on Telegram. Joe from Cryptech is the admin of the Hardware Market channel. There are fake accounts so be sure you're speaking with the real Joe

Would recommend S21s or Whatsminer M60s. Mining BTC is going to be the most predictable long-term

Antminer R4 is an option
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: insilicon A11 pro, any use of them? on: September 01, 2023, 09:39:31 PM
Not very profitable since the Eth merge. You could swap hashboards to get as many working miners as you can but it won't be economically viable to repair them.
10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need Help with diagnosing 3 S19's with possible PSU failure. on: August 15, 2023, 09:35:55 PM
There is a hashboard issue with Chain 2 reporting 0 ASIC. The "pic read" error likely doesn't have anything to do with the pic but rather the temperature sensor(s) that are failing to read or unstable chips.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Goldshell KD5 - doesnt start hashing on: May 15, 2023, 11:40:19 PM
If all boards fail to init on the miner dashboard then they will need to be powered on a test fixture to determine the issue, whether it is temp sensor/other ICs failure or a bad chip.
14  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: avalon 1166 pro 119 asic on: March 12, 2023, 03:11:25 AM
Replacing the hashboard that isn't found will be the quickest solution as Bitmaxz said. Or you can send the command to run the miner with only two boards. If you're looking for a reliable tester we recommend a STASIC MultiTester or the Universal Avalon Tester. New firmware will be continuously updated in the future to meet newer models.
15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S19J 100 BB controller log - significant errors on: March 12, 2023, 02:48:05 AM
First, I would try a SD flash. Try running the miner with a third party firmware like Braiins if this error persists. You could also rewrite the EEPROM with a skypro if you have a good bin file.
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain S17+ Problem on: February 28, 2023, 03:50:55 AM
Give them the baking treatment at 400 degrees for 10 mins, then at least 20 minutes to cooldown in the oven before any other diagnostics. 0 asic means there is a chip down the chain that is breaking the communications. Likely a loose solder connection or a bad chip.
