1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 20, 2025, 10:44:18 PM
The hype about Napoli winning that game was really high, even with that high odds that was given to them a lot of bettors were still able to risk it...sadly, that outcome wasn't what people expected...they couldn't even score a single goal, the red card contributed to their slow performance but still man city dominated the game...Even in their league they are not at the first position currently, the team were overrated

I won't say it was hype, I honestly thought they'd do that but, the thoughts I had wasn't what I saw happening. It's not time to feel bad about that game, now it is time  to build up for the next. I also thought, if it had not been the booking, they'd have had a better chance of sharing points with Manchester City. It was refreshing to see Kevin De Bruyne back at the Etihad stadium.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: African Football Discussion Thread Current Topic: 👉 World Cup Qualifiers. on: September 20, 2025, 10:17:30 PM
Only the NFF know the reason why they gave the super eagles job to Eric Chelle and from the beginning of the recruitment process that brought this coach in I personally know that there was going to be problems, because the process was not transparent because this coach was clearly handpicked by some poor full members of the NFF because there were other better qualified coaches that applied for this job.

Maybe it's  not time to point fingers towards the manager but the NFF. Don't you think it is the perfect time for everyone of them occupying positions to be shown the exit?! Losing back to back qualification for the FIFA World Cup Competition screams incompetency. I don't care what happens,  all I want to hear and see it that they're all sacked and done completely. Well, we have a president incompetent so I expect these woes around us.

Westham is putting Nuno and Sean Dyche in their shortlist after the poor performance showed by Potter. I think this is a sign they will sack potter as soon as he will fail to deliver once again. For me, the better for Westham to sign Nuno instead of sean Dyche. Nuno has proven how he could build club back from the scractch when he was at NFFC.

I hope they won't repeat the same mistake again to pick the wrong coach to handle their squad. Nuno must be on top of their priority to replace Potter.

Fairs! I would say the same thing too because, when you look at the history of the north London club,  they're more of a attacking side to a defending side. The best fit for them would be Nuno Espirito who can do both. Sean Dyche is too defensive and we saw how he dragged his Everton down below. The management of West Ham wouldn't want that for themselves, yes?! If right then, they know what to do exactly. The next game would be crucial for Graham Potter and his job.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 20, 2025, 10:01:08 PM
Manchester United are completely dominating the game now. I'm really shocked to see it. Chelsea are very disappointing. Even after the number of players got equalized, they continued to play poorly...

Before anything else, what the hell was that Sanchez? What an unnecessary tackle... That early red card must have demoralized the whole team. A shameful performance and a deserved loss it will be.

Chelsea disappointing? Maybe you didn't see the game or something?! Even with one man down, Manchester United looked shaky and couldn't make complete 5 to 6 touches to hurt Chelsea going forward. I will agree we could escape with that but weren't all that. Casemiro should be amongst the list of players leaving the club during the January transfer window. He should be disappointed with himself whenever he get to see that review. Bruno Fernandez with 100 goals for Manchester United. A club legend?! Damn yes!!
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 20, 2025, 09:56:02 PM
Let us not even try to make Manchester United look like they were the better side in this game because at most points they did looked like they were lucky, the early red card came in handy as a form of help for them, they would have not been able to really win this game, the most they would have gotten would have been a draw if both teams were in their complete numbers from start to finish and Amorim.needs to up his tactical games, he  made a substitution that showed he has a weak tactics, Chelsea had similar when they changed plamer  who os like theirplay maker, for Manchester united the replacement of mbumo with yoro was not ideal, they risked their victory but luckily got 3 points.

The most important thing at the end of the game is the result which Ruben Amorim needed since he is trying to fight for his job. I see his passion for the club. I must give Chelsea their flowers, they made Manchester United looked less even with ome man down and when it was leveled and balanced, Manchester United still had it difficult to detect and control that game. Hopefully, this is a confidence booster for Manchester United.

6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The rich is hugely favoured in gamble. on: September 20, 2025, 08:46:06 PM
I was having a conversation about gambling with two young men and one of them said gambling is not for the poor people, that it has the proclivity to favour rich people much than with the poor, and the examples he gave  made me to come close to endorsing his interpretation.

I clearly understand that the rich gains more favour from different sectors and areas but regardless I still understand that they are very rational in their dealings with money as per knowing how they spend money and what they spend it on. So they apply that knowledge in gambling making sure they don't be in loses and they gamble responsibly that's why it seems like the rich are highly favoured and on the other side the poor would always be desperate to win and end up loosing and getting addicted.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a cultural thing? on: September 20, 2025, 08:31:05 PM
So I am surprised to see when people say they are only recently seeing women around gambling. Is it a cultural thing? Are women from specific cultures more prone to gambling?

Majorly the tendency of women gambling is very few cause most of them are silent online gamblers and it doesn't seem like in cause of it they ain't addicted, the thing is I observed there's a limit of control for the women other than the men that are irresistible over gambling activities and hencewomen have been gambling for years and it's actually not a cultural thing they gamble in my country but in a well controlled manner.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life and what else on: September 20, 2025, 08:22:44 PM
I am curious what is the one thing that you will never bet with? I am not talking about life because I think almost everyone will say that already but instead I am talking about other things.

There are different levels of decision making, some can bet on every objects and assets they have and some basically on money and there's nothing wrong provided you got reasons for doing so, but then I can never risks anything else just for gambling sake so any gambling not monetary measures is ruled out cause I can't really trade whatsoever assets have gotten just for little bets
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start Trading for Beginners on: September 20, 2025, 07:16:42 PM
You did not add the aspect of how to actually trade and everything you explained are basic things everyone will do to be able to trade. The most important thing being to choose a trading strategy which they must test in demo and confirm the performance before they can implement in a real account.  This is where most traders fail, they start trading without a strategy that have been tested and verified. If you try trading without a strategy, you will learn the hard way.

Your last statement got me and it's not a joke.Without a strategy in trading, you're unsafe and unfit to exist as a trader. There's no benefits,a strategy helps you check and track what works and what doesn't.A strategy is your weapon. It doesn’t guarantee wins, but it protects and gives you a higher chance to success.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If You Can’t Explain the Trade, You Shouldn’t Be in It on: September 20, 2025, 06:53:25 PM
That's a principle or a rule and I believe it's an admonition to beginners in trading to seek clarity first before attempting otherwise. Many people jump into trading because it's trending, without really knowing how the market really work.Being able to explain a trade helps you think rationally, not emotionally. It shows you have a plan and direction.

11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What distance of time is long term investment plans? on: September 20, 2025, 06:07:46 PM
Personally, what I know about a long-term investment plan, the distance of time usually depends on the investor’s goals and choices. There're specific timeframe in investing, markets rise and fall daily, but over many years they tend to grow.So a long-term plan helps you ride out the ups and downs without panic and it gives growth and direction for your money.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maximizing profits, a skill every trader should know. on: September 20, 2025, 05:51:04 PM
It's usually very common for every trader to have the profit maximization skill.Maximizing profits ensures that one good trade can cover several bad ones.Having said that, since markets don’t trend all the time,a trader who knows how to manage those moves gets maximum value from rare opportunities.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can you use ChatGPT for day trading on: September 20, 2025, 05:38:26 PM
I agree,it possibly can't guarantee all that we ask for or expect but it's a very supportive tool for learning, analysing and organizing data and trading procedures/strategies.Over reliance on AI/Chatgpt ruins productive and fundamental analysis.Chatgpt assistance is real but it doesn't stream data on its own and accuracy is not guaranteed.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling in strict countries on: September 20, 2025, 08:59:37 AM

Governments should deal with gambling in the same way they deal with alcohol companies and consumers. Governments have not banned alcohol and have not closed down alcohol companies.

Exactly all of this addictions should be treated equally other than facing just gambling addiction and let alcohol do away with their activities and thus is very bad. If the government can exert the same energy they are exerting to eradicate gambling that same energy should be applicable to alcohol and other addictions that are affecting the country that way there'll be a reduced tendency.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you spin? on: September 20, 2025, 08:50:40 AM
The game seems so eye catching cause of the huge amounts of money spelt out but having death alongside other money requirements is weigh too big risky and for sure no one would want to lose their life at the moment, but even at that I clearly know there are some person's that would wat to give a try but likes of me I can't be found around such games let alone to spin.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to avoid cashing out your game on: September 19, 2025, 08:51:16 PM
Sometimes, I've realized that cashing out a game too soon prevents me from quick/bigger losses.Sometimes it just puts reduces my chances of winning a game, there's no guaranteed win, just how and when to execute the plan. That's why it's necessary to have a plan, have a step by step method of how you intend to play the game and and win.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours do you play in slots? on: September 19, 2025, 08:29:39 PM
Playing slots should be simple and easy,I don't know why people get to overwhelm themselves. If you must play slots everyday, keep it simple, short and controlled.Especially when you've started having difficulties with reading and watching from screens for too long. You need to rest, hydrate and reduce screen hours.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The rich is hugely favoured in gamble. on: September 19, 2025, 08:16:08 PM
Relatively, your points are valid but the thing is the rich gamblers are often smarter, they aren’t truly favored they just have more money to risk, more tolerance for losses, and more visibility when they win.The rich often gambles from a place of confidentiality, they usually place larger bets,So when they win,the reward looks huge making it seem like they are more luckier or favored.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: are vices worsen now by social media? on: September 19, 2025, 08:02:33 PM
Generally,Social media doesn’t create vices it promotes and accelerates them by making temptations more accessible, normalized, exciting which eventually becomes addictive.Instead of aiming at productivity and taking real life responsibilities, the exposure to endless social media contents increases online attention.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 19, 2025, 05:01:14 PM
Amorim bought 5 players and spent 250 million euros in total for them. Is this a big revolution in the squad? No, it isn't.

He only focused on the attacking line and a goalkeeper signing. Or I don't know maybe he had to if he wasn't given more money to spend.

The thing is their defending is still trash. They got better in offense with many more shots but they are still having problems on scoring multiple goals in a game as well.

5 players in without sending out players like Harry Maguire,  Luke Shaw, Casemiro and Ugarte out of the system would not bring the growth we Manchester United fans desires.

The manager is focused on bettering the club and players mentally,  he is not just focused on attacking. I'd say we don't have good enough midfielders who can shield the defence. They need to be ruthless completely during the January transfer window.
