RMA no way got it from ebay for 15usd Smiley dont know how old it is is it under warranty or anything .

For mining btc it is not good but i am mining altcoins with sha256.

Where can i see is it under warranty ? And sending it to usa from germany is it worth it.

5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT's HEX16A in hand - first impressions / mining software on: July 11, 2014, 02:40:41 PM
i got my Hex16A to run on 8+ ghs but over two min gets weery hot so didnt do testing on HW erors clock 530mhz 1550mv.

I shorted that yumper on the 5v rail so it gets power directly from psu.

Anybody did any testing how high can i push avlon first gen asic chip

Thanks
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Antminer U2 4ghs Overclocking on: July 11, 2014, 12:03:26 PM
Well i did all the steps but no progress

I did the voltage mod 5k/10k getting 1.19v on output.

Mounted it on a huge cooler put a fan on it but no result.

Maybe not enough power so i soldered 5v rail from psu directly to the pins  on the miner .

But when i run more than 0B81 i get HW100% or bfg does not detect the miner but it shows it in device manager

use this manual cant go wrong

https://bitmaintech.com/files/download/AntMiner%20U1%20user%20guide.pdf

And you can run it  on 2.2/2.4 ghs no problem
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Replacing Avlon Gen1 with Gen2 on: July 02, 2014, 11:45:55 AM
Hi i got an old TehnoBit hex16A and did some one try to replace Avlon Gen1 chip with Gen2 chip.

Since this TechnoBit board can give all kinds of voltages so theoretically you can put gen2 .

Did anybody try this ?

Looking toward for your opinions
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Technobit Avalon Gen2 Power ?? on: June 18, 2014, 06:45:36 AM
It is all weird  i connected 5v rail and now my fan works .
All the chips have 3.29v supply on one of the pins.
And next to the Motorola micro controller i am geting twice 12.12v psu voltage and 8.6 and 8.9

And i ship it over your site , and i dont have to send the cooler just the pcb to save on shipping.

And i have red and green led on no flashing , the 12v rail is active i did probe with multimeter on the board and i get 12 v on some areas but the fan conector i am geting 0v.

and when i connect the 12v and ted power on i get 0.05A standby and does not go up wen i star the miner
