Try setting rpcallowip to the exact IP address of the machine that is sending the requests.

Are the requests timing out or giving an explicit error?

It still times out. This is what my bitcoin.conf looks like.

I also tried to telnet *ipaddressofbitcoinserver* and it times out too.

Any other ideas? I'd love to get this done! Can I pay anyone some money to figure it out?

although pinging the server works

this is what my netstat looks like

You should use 8332 as the rpcport, not 8333. 8333 is bitcoind's p2p connection port and setting that to be the rpcport may cause something to break.

done...still not working. thank you though

Is $bitcoin->error returning anything?
$bitcoin->status?
$bitcoin->response?
$bitcoin->raw_response?

nothing, just times out

I have two servers
#1 - apache/
#2 - bitcoind

I want to use the apache server to send commands to the bitcoind server

this is my bitcoin.conf of the bitcoind server

listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=24234asdasd
rpcpassword=23asdasd
rpcport=8333
rpcconnect=IP.OF.apache.server
rpcallowip=*

When I try to curl, I get emply reply from server and when I try to use easybitcoin.php in the apache server,

    require("easybitcoin.php");
$bitcoin = new Bitcoin('24234asdasd','23asdasd','bitcoindf.server.ip.a.','8333');

    $info = $bitcoin->getinfo();
    print_r($info);

I also get a blank page. Any idea whats going on?

Do I need to install bitcoin-qt or some other instance of bitcoin on the apache server?

The site is online, but i see very low sport offers.
To soccer, i see only the uk , you don't add other soccer games?

Yeah, soccer is the most popular sport in the world. A little bit weird if a sportsbook site do not concern on soccer.
When I open the Soccer tab and select the UK football, I got this message "Notice: Undefined index: odds in /var/www/html/newlines.php on line 142", what does it mean?
There is also European Major Leagues tab in this site, but only for 1 match Reading vs. Birmingham even this is not a popular league (England Championship Division)

Dear Marioantonini,

All games have been added. Please check out our Soccer feed!

I got a few suggestions for you.
1. The basketball games are in chronological order, but the soccer games are in reverse order which is very strange and inconvenient to use.
2. The soccer page is quite unorganized now IMO. Premier league, FA cup, League 1, and even women Football games are all mixed together. It would be better to put them in different pages.
3. Please add more events and competitions, such as Italian Serie A, Spain Liga BBVA etc.

Dear Chemistry1988,

The website is still in Beta mode and some twirks are to be expected. Thank you for letting us know about this. The soccer games are now in chronological order. We are in the process of organizing the soccer leagues better.
