1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 19, 2025, 09:36:51 PM
Lyon were able to win their game against Angers today at the Groupama stadium and this is the 3rd home win they are having this season and it's considerable to say they are having a good start to the new season and currently, with this win they sit 2nd behind PSG with 2 points gap which might not last because the other teams would be playing tomorrow and definitely the likes of Lille, Monaco and Strasbourg may secure winnings.
Lyon were the better team tonight but I feel that they could have done better and scored more goals because the defense of Angers was very poor and they were making mistakes that should have been punished but they were lucky.
Three points in the bag was eventually the main goal and they achieved it.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: AI holding political offices on: September 19, 2025, 08:49:01 AM
In a world dominated by rotten politics, I don't know what could be worse: to be ruled by an AI, or to be ruled by a corrupted political faction... The question here is if those AIs can be really autonomous and impartial, or if they can be manipulated by groups of power who have access to its code.

Anyway, it seems a good plot for a dystopian sci-fi futurist movie, where AIs started ruling the societies by becoming their politicians and public officers. I believe there are potential chances it could work better in some aspects, considering AIs would be more technical on their decisions regards public funds and how it should be applied/invested.
That's the issue. If these AIs are created for a purpose of wiping out corruption and maintaining a clean, balanced financial record, wouldn't their findings still get vetted by those who created them? That means instead of them to have an environment where they can do their tasks freely, there would still be people who would dictate what and what information that should be released to the public.
Afaik this is just hogwash and a poor attempt to show the masses that they are accountable.

When people say "consistency pays" it's not because the person was constantly doing one thing alone, but made conscious effort to be better at what they did. It's only a fool that would spend time, money and energy to be doing something that they know won't yield much results or any at all, but hoping that since they are being consistent, a miracle would happen.
In every thing we do, consistency is key but it's also important to know your strengths and what would appeal to the people you hope to make your target market.

Sorry, I think you got mixed up.

To be clear, I'm not asking for help or a solution. It's just a discussion.
Your op sounds like you're actually looking for help on how to recover your lost/locked wallet. Most of the responses you're getting are solutions or things in relation to your question. If you weren't looking for a solution but a discussion, why not change it in the opening body of your post?
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 19, 2025, 08:14:00 AM
Nice win for Manchester City as they won comfortable at home 2:0 is a good way to start their campaign in this year's competition the early red card that Napoli had really affected their performance but as for city two goals with all three points is a good way to kickstart their champions League campaign. Barcelona too also got an important away victory as they won 1:2 against Newcastle.
The red card that Giovanni di Lorenzo got was what ruined Napoli's night because that game would have been hell for Guardiola had all of them being complete. The only attempt Napoli got was a header that Donnarumma stopped from getting in and after that, it was nothing.
Seriously, the foul that Lorenzo committed was an unnecessary one because Savic was already coming out to block Haaland's ball and even though he would have scored, at least with a complete squad, they would have found a way to come back but instead, Napoli didn't just lose the game, they also went one man down.
7  Economy / Reputation / Re: TheONLY-1, the new scammer on the mining board on: September 18, 2025, 08:09:28 PM

It is not even a cloud mining but he wants to be using helping people by setting up mining to be deceiving people. Such discussion can make novices or newbies think that he can do it. He will ask them for money and if the money is sent ro him, that means he has scam them because he has nothing to offer than to scam.
Wont they pay him a certain amount for him to set up the so-called mining service? That alone should ring alarm bells because these scammers always have a way of bringing something that would appeal to their victims so that they can easily cash out on them.

Leverkusen are a disappointment against Copenhagen so far... Still 1-0 behind. I don't understand one thing.

You can score another goal and beat Frankfurt by 3-1 while you are even one man down. But you really can't even have the control of the game against a weaker opponent? Interesting...

By the way what do you say about Frankfurt - GalatasarayHuh  I feel like Frankfurt won't lose and a draw is quite likely.
Leverkusen came from behind to draw the game and I won't lie, when they equalized I was low-key expecting them to win the game as they were known to do during the time of Xabi Alonso but a point is better than a loss so it's something.

Frankfurt are surprisingly beating Galatasaray who are champions league regulars and I must say I didn't see this score line happening, not especially when Galatasaray were the ones to take the lead early on. I don't want to sound pessimistic but I don't see the Turkish giants coming back from this one.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 18, 2025, 02:21:58 PM
The last Champions League matches will be played tonight.
Copenhagen vs Bayer Leverkusen: I expect this to be a high-scoring game, and I think Bayer Leverkusen will win.

Club Brugge vs Monaco: This is a tough one to predict, I see both teams as being equally strong.

Newcastle United vs Barcelona: Barcelona are the clear favorites. I think they’ll win by 2–3 goals.

Sporting CP vs Kairat: Sporting are the favorites, but Kairat are not an easy opponent. Anything can happen in this match.

Manchester City vs Napoli: This will be a good match, both teams are capable of winning. Let’s see who comes out on top.

And the most important match for me:
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Galatasaray, Galatasaray must win this game. It’s an important match for us and we need these 3 points. Osimhen won’t be playing, which is a loss for us, but the rest of our squad will be available.
The Napoli vs Man City game is one I'd want to see because it promises to hold much action being that Napoli are yet to lose a game and maybe when they play Man City, Pep Guardiola's men will do them the honors but again, City have not been consistent with winning and could be taken unawares by Antonio Conte's men.
We've seen how much problems the likes of KDB, Scot Mctominay and the others have been doing to opponents in the Serie A and I'm confident that they will not hold back when they face City despite the English club being the clear favorites.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: AI holding political offices on: September 18, 2025, 11:03:06 AM

Moreover AI can't issue a command on it's own, can AI even attend to meeting? I would say that they're just Miss using AI because AI is not created for this purpose. I'm sure that this isn't going to work because there are Alot of things we human beings will display that AI can not be able to display because there level of knowledge is artificial not like that of humans so they shouldn't even think of such because if they do, definitely they won't progress. I'm still wondering why they want to choose AI over human beings, or maybe they feel that AI can do more better than humans..... If that's the case then i think they are making a whole lot of mistakes.
Let's wait and see how long this would last because if I'm being honest I'm curious to see. Maybe Rama's intention is just to be popular because if Diella's task is to ensure that there's no corruption and also promote innovation, if I might ask, who started the corruption if not them so indirectly, her work  would be to fish them out? So how'd would that work?
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin not going above $116500 on: September 18, 2025, 10:25:49 AM

Good thing we're just making our speculations and it's not a certainty because yesterday, Bitcoin crossed the $116k range and entered $117k and even though it has corrected to $116, 828.68 as at time of writing, I've still got the feel that with the bulls buying, it would get past $117k mark. Who knows, we could see price getting back to $120k before the month runs out.
September can be a bit erratic for price but this year may be different.

Bitcoin's next move will depend on today's FOMC meeting and the Fed's interest rate decision. If interest rates are lowered as expected, we could see a positive market in the remaining days of September and bitcoin price could return to $120k. On the contrary, if something unexpected happens and the Fed does not lower interest rates, a bitcoin dump is inevitable.

But with bitcoin's price suddenly rising to $117k ahead of the rate announcement, we can be confident that a Fed rate cut is almost certain. Therefore, we have every right to expect bitcoin to end September with a green candle.
I equally agree with you on this that the FOMC meeting would play a big role in price but at the same time like you said, Bitcoin doesn't seem to be waiting on the verdict or outcome of today's meeting and it might no be long too before we see something more than we're expecting.
Bitcoin is now at $117k and don't get surprised that we might see some gains before the end of the day.

Bayern won, but did many people expect them to win? I think many people expected Chelsea based on their current form and their recent Club World Cup victory. Bayern did not just win, they outplayed Chelsea in their home.

I think this particular game ruined people's bets, because Chelsea supporters were really confident.
I knew that Chelsea won't stand a chance against Bayern Munich because if it's in terms of form, I would say they are more in form than Chelsea and are like regular customers to champions league competition more than Chelsea under their new coach Enzo Maresca so it's likely that they would call all the shots.
Yeah many would have expected Chelsea to put up a fight but from what I watched, it seemed to me like it was only Cole Palmer that was the more forward thinking player, the rest of them kept playing with a little bit of fear.
Again, you can't expect much from Chelsea when their midfield lacked creativity, often allowing their fear of making mistakes stop them from equally attacking like they should.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin not going above $116500 on: September 17, 2025, 09:27:37 AM

Bitcoin has been very resistant lately since dropping from the $117k following the last ATH recorded in August. I still feel that bitcoin price would be below $115k by month ending. It has been resisted within the +& - $4k at the $112k margin. So for the next six days I feel the bitcoin price would be within the price of $113k and may also end the month within that range. Seems bitcoin would not experience any extreme corrections this remaining months of the year.
Good thing we're just making our speculations and it's not a certainty because yesterday, Bitcoin crossed the $116k range and entered $117k and even though it has corrected to $116, 828.68 as at time of writing, I've still got the feel that with the bulls buying, it would get past $117k mark.  Don't know if I should be shocked by the level at which AI is fast seeping into the lives of humans and even going as far as being involved in politics or if I should be mind-blown by the genius of it. Genius though? I'm still yet to understand what may have spurred Rama to do this, is it to spite the democrats or he's just being a forward thinker.
Would she be allowed to make decisions on 'her' own or would she have to run it through her boss, Rama because if it's the latter, then what's the point? For the case of the Japanese political party leader, even though they plan to make an AI their leader, this bot doesn't have independent authority to interfere in political activities but to concern itself with the decision making concerning the growth of the party.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 17, 2025, 02:37:39 AM

I think it’s still too early to talk about something like that, but certainly both teams, Real and Juventus, are in form. They are not yet fully synchronized, but with time they surely will be. When you look at Juventus, in just two matches they scored 8 goals,4 against Inter and 4 against Dortmund, which is really impressive. Real got their first 3 points, but it won’t be easy because Carvajal has a red card, and we all know how much Dani means to them...
They can find a replacement for him no doubt. I mean the team where doing okay when he was out injured so I'm sure that filling in the gap in his absence won't be a difficult task for Xabi Alonso.
It's quite funny how two times now Madrid have played with a man short yet they still find ways to win. This is just the start though. I hope they can maintain this brilliant performance in the long run.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 16, 2025, 09:23:38 PM
Wow, what a day for the Champions League…
Real managed to win in the end with one player less, while Juventus finished with a 4–4 draw against Dortmund. Two goals from Vlahovic, including one in the closing stages, helped Juventus secure a point from this tough match. Real, with two penalties in the game calmly converted by Mbappe, came away with all three points. I watched and really enjoyed the matches. Also, Royale Union and Qarabag were pleasant surprises, showing everyone that they are not in the Champions League by accident…Tottenham, with a minimal score, secured 3 points a truly fantastic day in the Champions League.
Noticed that the two clubs both had dramatic wins in their different leagues? Real Madrid won the game even with a man down and Juventus came from behind to upset Inter Milan so I feel that tonight's performance seemed to look like a repeat of that
Is this the time to say that both Juventus and Madrid would stun people in the various leagues or is it too early? I know that Madrid has a strong base but Juventus are not the type of club that can be relied on in recent times but I'd have to admit that under Igor Tudor, the club has continued to wow the fans and I must admit that I didn't expect to see such a harvest of goals considering how the first half was a bit tight and uneventful.
Both teams get to share the spoils whereas Madrid recorded their first win of the champions league.
17  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Why must we hawk bitcoin like a common commodity on: September 16, 2025, 09:16:50 PM
I do not agree to convince anyone to invest in Bitcoin, but no one should do that. I would suggest that you, as a promotion of Bitcoin, discuss basic knowledge about Bitcoin with a person and encourage him to gain knowledge about Bitcoin. Try your best to gain knowledge. If he is interested in investing after gaining knowledge, then he can invest on his own and he will be responsible for the profit and loss of the investment.

Nah the Koko be that. When you give person choice on wetin them wan do, if things later no turn out well, much blame no go dey on you but if nah a situation wey you don do beta marketing and start to dey "force" them to put head into Bitcoin investment and their risk intake no much, them no go wan dey reason you next time even when you get other better propositions to make since them go dey use their experience with Bitcoin dey take follow you.

If truly Nico Williams is saying that actually, then I would say that he is still not come to terms with reality, because arsenal is not on the same level with them, the best possible result they can get from this game is a draw. Am not saying that arsenal will run over them, what am trying to say is that this game is a clear winning for arsenal even though football can be sometimes unpredictable.
Sometimes players will want to talk tough just to bring themselves into the spotlight, and I think that it's what Nico Williams is trying to do, but no matter how tough he talks, on the field of play, it's going to be a different ball game altogether because talking is way more easier, than doing what you said.
Inaki Williams bold statement
I actually mixed the names. It's actually his elder brother, Iñaki Williams that made the statement and not Nico, stating that the Gunners would have to sweat blood before they can beat them at the San Mames stadium and I'm wondering what's so special about them that the Gunners can't take down.
This is the same club that in their Laliga game gave a very weak performance against Deportivo Alaves who they should have beat comfortably but rather were struggling with then it's Arsenal who they feel they can rub shoulders with?

19  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔹 CasinoBet.com 🔹 The Home of Big Rewards! UP TO 65% IN RAKEBACK & CASHBACK. on: September 16, 2025, 10:16:05 AM

You have to realize that when you're already in profit, you have to make sure that you've got to take the profits on your wing already. And so, whether you continue or not, you've got something in your balance already.

When you're in luck, you'd like to test it more because it might not end up yet. But when the right timing comes to us and it dictates us to stop already.

You know what your limits are and when to stop. Because if not, that's when bad results come in.
I think every gambler has this mentality of going again after they've recorded a win. It's like trying to max out the luck and good fortune they have experienced that day but it's important like you stated to always know your limit and stop so that you don't lose all you have won.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: September 16, 2025, 10:04:43 AM
Arsenal will be the first club to play this season's champions league against Bilbao and the Spanish outfit are already talking tough and especially their Captain Iñaki Williams has declared that if Arsenal hope to win them at their stadium tonight, they'd have to sweat blood.
This is the same Atletico Bilbao that Man UTD destroyed last season during the Europa league competition and we know that Arsenal's away record is very strong and they've increased their squad and even though they have players who are out injured, it won't worry Arteta much. Are Bilbao just talking much or will they back it up with action and give the Gunners a hard time?
