There's been much talk that Salah hasn't had a good start this season, and he hasn't, judging by many of his matches. Today in the Champions League, Mohamed Salah once again demonstrated his quality, dedication, and talent. Liverpool made a fantastic start to the opener, scoring two goals within minutes, including Salah's. Van Dijk also put in a lot of effort for this match, making incredible runs and constantly going in and out of corners.

Bayern is not all that; Chelsea were just not good enough to win the game. Their defence and attack are not that good. People overrate Chelsea because of their performance in the Club World Cup. This is a different competition. I had no doubt that Bayern would win that game. I said it here a couple of times that Bayern would win the game; it was too obvious for all to see, except that you are a Chelsea fan.  

What performance in the Club World Cup?! Lmfao! It was just that game against Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germans.
I love crazy and delusions but not the way Chelsea fans go about their own. Their performance against Brentford was enough eye opener for their fans but they chose to not keep their eyes peeled and open. I hope it's a back to back lose with their next game against Manchester United.

your are very correct Bayern Munich was very informed in this match between them and Chelsea, and if you check very well Chelsea trugled through out this match between them and Bayern Munich, because they where no match to Bayern Munich. Normally the season is just getting started I believe Chelsea will do more better before the end of the season, although Chelsea tried equalizing, but Today was really a bad day for them,  even Palmer's late goal was ruled out by VAR  very painful, Chelsea fans should just take heart today and accept there defeat with faith for tomorrow is another day. And congratulations to Bayern Munich they really played very well throughout the match.

What a bad performance from Chelsea in their today match against Bayern Munich. To be honest, if they told me that Chelsea cannot handle Bayern in that match and have victory over them, I will not believe it with the way their performance has been improving this season. And that’s why even before the match started, I was hoping that they would win the match, but unfortunately it didn’t happen, given how they played poorly.

When the Cole Palma equalized back when they were leading them by 2-0 and later ended the first half with 2-1, after they equalized back, I was thinking that maybe when they come back to play the second half, they will try as much as possible to make sure they add another goal to make it 2-2 and then maintain the goals and lead the game to a draw, but as Bayern begins giving them pressure, they find the game difficult.

The game is ovee and it ended 3-1. Chelsea looked weak in this match as they allowed Bayern to hold the ball throughout the game giving them little chance to work out something out of nothing. Kompany has really improved Bayern performance, look at how the players were playing with full confidence. More work is needed to be done on the team.

Well, I'm surprised that you're somehow blaming Chelsea for them been possessed by Bayern Munich. That's Bayern pattern of football, to possess their opponent, so you don't have to blame Chelsea in that aspect. Bayern was the better team and they deserve the win. Honestly, I don't see Chelsea doing much against Bayern in the return leg. The defense isn't good enough and the transition in attack is also slow.
Relying on counter attacks won't always work and it has been evident in against teams that play low block.

Bayern Munich vs Chelsea encounter will be the hit game in tonight's champions league football and we're expecting to see an interesting game but it might not be how we picture it to be because I'm expecting to see a very tough games. The Blues are visiting the Barbarians that have been ruthless since the beginning of this campaign and I'm sure they are not going to make the Allianz Arena an easy or comfortable place for Chelsea. The Blues have been doing pretty well in the EPL but we can't say they're going to be at their best tonight because I see them as a team that goes off and on and is hard to say they're going to do well in a particular game, now are they going to be at top speed to take on Bayern or are we going to see that slow performance they displayed during the week?

Apparently, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are doing well in their respective leagues despite that Bayern Munich is doing better since they are topping their league table but the tension in the premier league is always bigger as compared the Bundesliga but that notwithstanding, looking at the squad depth of both teams, i can say that Bayern Munich will be at the better side because from the matches they have played so far i see their team work and some of their players such as Harry Kane, Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise are very active in goal scoring. Chelsea's defense is very easy to penetrate, except Enzo Maresca comes up with a strategy to address the lapses of their defense, am afraid but Chelsea might lose to Bayern Munich.

I agree with you, Bundesliga and the EPL can't be compared at all and the Bayern Munich side are complete to face any team and they'll cause more damage. In this encounter that finished 3-1 in favor of Bayern Munich I never saw anything special coming from the Chelsea side and if you ask me I'd blame the manager because he kept on dropping good sets of players that can turn things around in his favor on the bench. We saw how Bayern controlled the midfield from the beginning of the game till the end and the Blues wasn't responding at all, but my question is why can't they [Chelsea] get a creative midfield to be among them? Cole Palmer was there but he he wasn't in a better position to distribute the ball like before.
Tonight they were just running and running for no reason and it pains me to see Cole Palmer playing from the wing and Enzo playing where Cole was suppose to play, it seems like Enzo Maresca is not ready to keep winning games because Cole has been the only player to keep the ball moving forward and Caicedo was terrible, with him always playing the ball back knowing fully well that they are losing, that's no way to get back while losing a game and some of the defenders went off color, now is going to be a problem when they play their next opponent in the EPL.

With the super dominance in Bayern Munich game today their is no doubt they are one of the best team in Europe. They had an excellent, unimaginable and dominated football game today against Chelsea that people thought will humiliate them the same way they humiliated PSG in the club world cup but reverse was the case.
What an excellent performance for Bayern Munich in today's game coming with total dominance in statistics and creating chances that made Chelsea lost confidence in themselves.

I didn't know if it's only about me but Chelsea really disappointed me today with their performance in Munich. The players lost real confidence and allowed themselves to be bullied easily by Bayern players. Bayern were only able to score one clean goal there which is the penalty. Other goals were out of pressure mounted on Chelsea team with the most painful for me being the assist Gusto made for Kane. I wonder why Maresca left J. Pedro in the match despite seeing that he was worn out from even first half. For some reason, the history has been allowed to continue and even more so, Chelsea caused their predicament in today’s fixture. For a game that was just gradually taking shape in their favour, they went ahead to score an early own goal. I count understand it, their wasn’t any much pressure on the ball, Oliseh just rolled the ball across and the defense were just confused on how to handle it, throwing their legs in any direct and Chalobah got it in the net.

Caicedo was next, loosing a chance to catch up with a pass towards Harry Kane even with the ball just rolling in front of him and he committed Harry Kane to give Bayern Munich a penalty.

Then again, it was Gusto with a back pass that just didn’t leave his feet right, of course Kane would make the most of it. Chelsea just didn’t do themselves any favours.

Liverpool needs to do better imo if they want to go farther than they went in the last UCL campaign. We can't continue to rely on this last minute clutches to win games. For a moment there, I thought the luck had run out and that Atlético Madrid will go back with a point as the bare minimum.

Elsewhere, I liked how Bayern humbled Chelsea. They've been very quick to forget that they're not at elite level yet despite recent accomplishments like winning the Fifa club world cup final against PSG.

Champions League tonight, some results went just as expected.

PSG were always the clear favorites and won comfortably, 4-0.

Inter were also expected to win, and they did so with a 2-0 victory.

Liverpool’s win wasn’t a surprise either — they secured the 3 points with a last-minute goal.

The Bayern Munich vs. Chelsea clash was the big one, hard to predict, but Bayern used their home advantage well and came out 3-1 winners.

As the defending Champions they're expected to start this season's tournament with a good performance and they did wonderfully, 4-0 is a massive win,  one that's very suitable for defending Champions. Inter is a good Champions League team, despite their poor form in their domestic league they made sure to start the UCL tournament in a good way this season, that's impressive.

 Liverpool did well but made some few errors in the second half, it makes no sense to be two goals ahead and end up conceding two goals by an opponent but luckily for them they were able to correct their error with a late minute goal, Van Dijk came to their rescue. What an unlucky day for Chelsea, hopefully they'll recover well from this defeat, they fought hard but Bayern Munich was too tough to score against.

There's no denying that the match between Liverpool and Atletico Madrid was incredibly tight. I was even a bit surprised by this, thinking Atletico Madrid wouldn't be this tight, having withstood Liverpool's numerous attacks.

Liverpool even put Atletico Madrid under pressure from the first four minutes, followed by their second goal just two minutes later, in the sixth minute. This had already left Atletico Madrid emotionally and mentally drained. However, Simeone still managed to keep them fighting until they finally drew with goals from Llorente in the 45th and 81st minutes. At this point, Arne Slot was under a bit of pressure, having only managed a draw, despite their high attack power, having 20 shots, but only two goals.

Fortunately, a late goal by Van Dijk turned the tide, proving Liverpool's victory over Atletico Madrid.

Free money… well, that depends on the markets you were gambling on. Certainly the goal market and the win market were some places to look but, not for an over 2.5 with Inter Milan, that’s one place I got it wrong on my list bet.

I knew that Chelsea won't stand a chance against Bayern Munich because if it's in terms of form, I would say they are more in form than Chelsea and are like regular customers to champions league competition more than Chelsea under their new coach Enzo Maresca so it's likely that they would call all the shots.
 Yeah many would have expected Chelsea to put up a fight but from what I watched, it seemed to me like it was only Cole Palmer that was the more forward thinking player, the rest of them kept playing with a little bit of fear.
 Again, you can't expect much from Chelsea when their midfield lacked creativity, often allowing their fear of making mistakes stop them from equally attacking like they should.

First of all, sorry about your bet. But yes, you're correct. I said free money only because the main markets all clicked at the same time. It's not like days we'd see some of the favorites win and others will either draw or lose. Today, they all won.

It was uncertain until the end. I placed a bet on the home team to win, which Van Dijk made possible with an excellent header near the end of the match. Salah was incredible.I watched him run with three players chasing him, yet they couldn’t take the ball from him, and in the end, he scored from that action. An unbelievable player! Honestly, i was surprised when Atletico equalized with what i consider two easy goals, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. Raspadori recorded an assist, and Simeone, as usual, got a red card
