Manchester Originals Men team set 131 runs target in 100 balls and losing 4 wickets. Salt performed very well in opening and he made 60 runs in 41 balls and hitted four 4s and two 6s. But unfortunately Manchester Originals team failed to win this game and lost game by closely 1 ball and 1 wicket. Tymal got player of game award because his effort in game was amazing and he took down 3 wickets in 20 balls and gave 22 runs. Jason batted well and he made 30 runs in 22 balls and hitting four 4s and one 6s. Congratulations Southern Brave team winning close game.

South Africa U19 cricket team performance was very bad in this match because they could not give target target in this match which was requirement of that match . Yes we know Munich will likely do well in their home league but real question is how their new team will perform in Champions League where competition is much tougher. One more game was ended od Tri Nation Series and this was the 8 th game and played between Bangladesh U19s team and South Africa U19s team. In start of game, Bangladesh U19s team won toss and they got a chance to choose bat or bowl first and gave batting line to South Africa U19s team. South Africa U19s team showed very poor effort and made 147 easy runs target in 50 overs by losing all wickets. Paul and Mbatha showed good effort from South Africa U19s team and all other batsman batted poor and made few runs. Sanjid took down 4 wickets in 8 overs and gave 39 runs and he deserved player of game award because of his brilliant bowling. Basir batted well and he made 52 runs in 36 balls and hitted six 4s and three 6s. Beg also showed good batting effort and he made 43 runs in 47 balls and hitted five 4s and one 6s.

It really highlights fantastic performance from Bangladesh U19 team. South Africa U19 low score of 147 was direct result of Sanjid brilliant bowling and then exciting and quick batting from Basir and Beg made sure Bangladesh won with much of time to spare. Did anyone watched the first match of the Hundred? This is the first edition, after most of the franchises sold their minority/majority stakes to mainly Indian owners. The first match was between London Spirit (Men) and Oval Invincibles (Men), which the latter won by a margin of 6 wickets. Sam Curran and Rashid Khan both picked up 3 wickets each, to restrict London to 80, and then chased down the target with 31 balls to spare. Yes I saw. Oval Invincibles had very strong start to tournament. Rashid Khan and Sam Curran were amazing bowling London Spirit out for 80 runs. Perhaps the glory days have returned to South African cricket in recent times as we have seen the Proteas win two major titles this season. To be honest they have been the Test Championship champions and right now it looks like they have managed to win the trophy in the World Championship of Legends tournament maybe it was amazing. In fact, we saw a completely different season in the World Championship of Legends because there was a conflict between Pakistan and India.
It may have been noticed by everyone that Pakistan were automatically selected to play in the final of this competition but they lost to South Africa in the final match, however I am still impressed by AB de Villiers' performance because he has not abandoned his power hitting attitude but he used it to its fullest in this Legends League.
Yes South African cricket has been doing very well lately. They have won two big tournaments this season which is great achievement. Team won Test Championship and they also beat Pakistan in final of World Championship of Legends tournament. These wins show how strong they have been playing. In Legends League some individual players also stood out. AB de Villiers was especially fun to watch because he still has his powerful hitting style which he used perfectly. Right now with all indications and activities going on in the bundesliga and transfer window, it’s really gonna be tough on Bayer Leverkusen competing at top level next season but until the season starts fully we never can tell, they might just pull off a surprise. We saw Girona perform so well and after they lost very key players they became a shadow of what they once were. Erik Ten Hag always going for tough jobs I hope and wish he succeeds this time around for his sake and that of the Leverkusen fans.

Yeah In the first test game, New Zealand defeated Zimbabwe without any hurdle. Zimbabwe failed to perform in both innings and collectively scored 315 runs to chase. Zimbabwe opened the first innings with 10 runs partnership followed by 5 wickets fall at 69 runs. It was the middle order who atleast scored some runs to make a target of 149 runs when all wickets knocked out. New Zealand opened the first innings with a tremendous performance of 92 runs which left Zimbabwe under pressure. New Zealand's batting lineup giving no chance to bowlers scored 307 runs so it was a plus point for New Zealand to win. Zimbabwe was expected to give a huge target but this innings gone same as the first innings. New Zealand's bowlers eliminated the whole batting lineup at 165 runs so in the second innings New Zealand just needed 8 runs to win this game. New Zealand got victory by 9 wickets in the first test game and Matt Henry was credited for this victory.
First Test match between New Zealand and Zimbabwe was clear win for New Zealand. After New Zealand scored big 307 runs in their first turn at bat Zimbabwe struggled and could not score many runs in of their turns. Matt Henry was key player for New Zealand bowling exceptionally well and taking crucial wickets. Yeah we can't ignore the fact that Gyokeres used to play in the Premier League but during this period his performance was not optimal and now he is back with Arsenal even though we know he has the ability, we can't be sure whether he will be able to adapt quickly. Arsenal have spent 65 million to bring in Gyokeres and 2 other expensive players which has spent a total of 224 million which puts Arsenal in the top 3 with the most spending in the transfer window (EPL version) well, we hope that what they spend will be commensurate with their performance next season.
It is true that Gyökeres struggled in Premier League before so even though he has been great in Portugal we do not know if he will succeed in England this time. Huge amount of money Arsenal paid for him and other players puts much of pressure on them to perform well right away. Everyone hopes that all this spending will lead to better team that can win championships. So we will just have to wait and see if these new players are worth money and help Arsenal reach their goals. |
