I dont think Jose mourinho have anything to prove anymore as far as European football is concerned. This is a coach who have won it all in Europe and have managed some great football players both past and present, he has paid his due in club football and for me I think if he needs to prove anything he should go to international football and coach a country perhaps his own country Portugal especially as the World Cup looms, he could be the one to achieve the World Cup trophy and help cristiano Ronaldo to win the fifa World Cup with Portugal and that will be the greatest prove he can achieve now. You are absolutely right that's what Mourinho would have done, rather than moving from one club to another in Europe and getting sacked. He would have switched to international football and aim for the world cup just as Ancellotti has done. Maybe hasn't gotten an offer from any country to come and manage them, also you and I know that Jose Mourinho won't just manage any small nation he feels can't win the world cup.
