It has been 9 years since we first launched our first crypto project MonetaryUnit.
In that time we have always done our best to be open and honest, which is why our team has such a great reputation amongst our peers in this space.
In continuing in that theme, we wanted to make you aware, before any other public announcements are made, that the team have made the decision, that for the best interests of the community and our projects, we are going to actively look for a new team to purchase and takeover all of our platforms and assets.
What this means to you?
Nothing will change in the short term, however, once we have identified the right buyer, there will be a transitional period of approximately 3-6 months during which time you will see new names/face appearing as part of the team.
This will of course eventually mean after this transitional period, the current team as you know them, will no longer be involved, and you will be dealing with the new team.
We will provide full support to the new team & community during the transitional period, ensuring all needs and support will be provided.
What are we selling?
The MonetaryUnit (MUE) brand, domains and associated platforms and websites such as MonetaryUnit.com, org, myMUE.com, faucet and wallet sites, social media accounts and logins etc
The YieldFields brand, domains, associated platforms and websites such as YieldFields.finance, blog, associated social media accounts and logins etc
Why are we doing this?
9 years is a long time! and what a journey it has been, with ups and downs and all the associated dramas of crypto.
We've endured forks, scammers, hacks and reorgs, but have always kept trying to do the right thing by our users and for the wider crypto community.
The team have made the joint decision, it is time to look for the next new challenge, hopefully as a team if we find the right project.
We think its very likely we will find a a new team who see the huge potential in this run up to the next bull run and to have both the MUE and YieldFields brands and platforms and who want to bring new energy, vigor & potential to what has been built this past 9 years.

Happy to see renewed efforts with MUE, wMUE, Flubit, etc. - very encouraging, indeed. I'd love to see it on some more exchanges, as Bittrex isn't available to all - are there plans afoot for more exchange additions?

So for mue on an exchange, we just leave it and wait for the exchange to update the wallet - I hope there will be no fork of some using 1.0 and other 2.0 Yep, just leave on the exchanges for them to update. We have notified Bittrex, Upbit, Crypto-bridge, coinexchange & Bittylicious who are the only exchanges that have updated wallets in the past and on which legitimate trading was occurring. |

@everyone Dear all, I am very happy to announce that we have officially appointed the phore.io team to migrate MUE to a pivx/phore POS clone. The phore.io team have been working with us the past few weeks whilst looking at our budget activation, and come highly recommended. Just to be clear, the MUE parameters you have been used to will remain essentially unchanged i.e MasterNodes require 500,000 MUE 40 MUE per block 40 second block times 18 MUE to MasterNodes 18 MUE to POS 4 MUE to budget funding In addition we will have the zerocoin privacy function & segwit for increased number of transactions. We are expecting this work to be complete in the next 3-5 weeks. I want to thank you all for supporting us. You should inform yourself a bit more about Algorythm of coins before u buy something that will u only cost money.
Antminer S3 mines the SHA256 Algo.
MUE is qubit Quark and will switch to X11 Algo.
And i also think u dont have a low ROI with CPU mining MUE.
Fixed that  ANd yes, no sense in cpu mining, it isn't worth it other than for the learning experience. Thank you fellas, you're definitely helping to increase my knowledge on this subject. So essentially if I do research on how to mine Quark it will lead me down the right path for MUE? Yes, and the title of this thread is now misleading. Quark used to be a CPU mineable coin, but is now pretty much asic/fpg mineable only. Monetary Unit is moving to X11, if you would like to research how mining works, focus on X11 instead.
