any idea why the difficulty is up so much ?!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v6.1 on: August 02, 2014, 12:37:32 PM
now it's a very hard time for miners.i think dev should decrease 5% fee.now 80% of mined coins should pay for electricity cost.miners only earn 20% ,however dev earns 5% ,that means 25% of  miner's earning.

I agree. 2% is more reasonable.

I also agree, 2% is fair.

i agree 2% that's so good, because this time is hard for mining now, miner have to pay for 1-2% of pool and 5% dev.

yea and 80% electricity, what's actually left for the miners after 87% elec, pool fee, dev fee is just 13% what a pity
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will the GAW VAULTBREAKER Be profitable? on: August 01, 2014, 12:01:36 AM
to the op i just told u what it is all about u sure are free to try , to everybody else i just don't care what u think i'm entitled to my own view also that smart guy saying oh why mine and dump ok then i tell you why buy an asic at all then, just buy the coins and hold if u r gonna play the holding game anyways

also yea i know u have suckered lots of people into buying your out dated asics that's why u never really made a loss, yet u have the audacity to call me a troll u sir qualify as a scammer for doing that to un-suspecting noobs lol ....

note : never heard of something called feedback ? i never really have to own an ASIC to know what it's like to step into these ASIC waters lol but that was a good one actually blah blah blah, like really ?!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: July 31, 2014, 10:21:47 PM
does claymore's miner really shave off 20% ontop of the 5%  ? i think i'm missing an extra 1 monero from my mining revenue today like i should have gotten 6 moneros today but i only got 5 !!

i heard that guy who made the miner is not honest and is stealing from us and has the fees set higher than 5% more like 25%  Sad

When you start mining on some XMR pool, it takes few hours for your coins to be credited as it takes many more confirmations to credit mined coins opposed to when you send coins from one place to another. It is possible you will get that extra 1 XMR few hours after you stop mining (i dont encourage you to stop).

dwarf pool already shows all that data and i'm still missing the extra 1 monero, man i hope that closed source crap miner ends and we get something open source like with other coins ...
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will the GAW VAULTBREAKER Be profitable? on: July 31, 2014, 09:29:30 PM
yes get into the asics arms race and be ready to make losses and have to sucker somebody into buying your out dated miner just so u can roi and buy the next big new miner to end up doing the same in 3 months frame rinse and repeat, anybody denying that is just some asic manufacturer troll, some people come here and be like haters na na na bla bla anybody has the audacity to defend this whole ASIC monopoly crap is just plain stupid or paid to do so, peace Smiley

Sounds like you got burned. Sound like an Obama mouthpiece with all that hatin.

never bought an ASIC never will i'm not stupid Smiley also this obama nonsense i don't care about it because i'm not american and i can not relate to that crap watsoever ,i'm just being objective that is no "hatin" that is the plan truth this whole asic monopoly crap only benefits the ones who are manufacturing them and dumping them on you once they are about to become useless door stoppers because of the difficulty and remember the newer 10x faster ASIC which is made by the same very company is ready to enter the "testing" phase so prepare your cash to buy it in 3 ~ 6 months lol, nothing personal aight, take care ciao

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoNote AUTO-SWITCH MULTIPOOL on: July 31, 2014, 08:39:04 PM
i hope nobody ever makes it, will be bad for the whole eco system , look @ x11 a mess ... and mine and auto dump at once multi pool style and soon u will have nothing else profitable to mine at all but guess u just don't care u just want a couple of bucks now and that's it , sad yea ...

I don't agree with that, it will be auto dump and couple of bucks in the short term, but thats what auto-switch pools are for.. if you believe a coin will increase in value and you want to invest, just mine it or buy it

yes multipools kill the value of any coin soon if multipools start adopting monero or any other cryptonote currency soon they will all devalue and once again nothing profitable to mine so do you want to make the absolute most for another month then boom nada ?! like how it happened with all other coins, right now there is nothing to mine but cryptonote ... all other algos are not profitable to mine because of multipools dumping their prices into the pits of hell, take care Smiley
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will the GAW VAULTBREAKER Be profitable? on: July 31, 2014, 08:09:41 PM
ASIC mining aahhh, you will never get ROI so get over it , ASICs are only there to make the manufacturers rich and that's about it , can't put it in a simpler way than that , aight ? take care and don't waste your money Smiley

I think a donation fee is ok. Its fair to give developer a share, and this way everyone donates proportional to their "income".

5% is not okay though because we have electricity to pay for too ...
Why not?!
A miner which gives you 2x the speed of regular one (if any!) and you think 5% is too much?
Don't use it then.
Its a win-win for the developer AND users. Until better way to reward devs is found

we have to cover electricity costs 5% is too much and he charges that much because he knows we don't have any other option, if i'm not going to profit (electricity is 80% of my mining revenue + 5% dev fee + 2% pool fee) after paying for electricity then what is the point .....

also 2 x faster 100 x faster difficulty will normalize that when everybody starts using that miner

devfee should never be over 1 ~ 2 % as a maximum because tons of users will be using that miner and hash for him at no electricity cost so why be greedy, i mean the dev will still end with a huge amount of electricity free hashes ...

Honestly, a dev for a miner will get more at 2% or lower dev fee, because people will more likely give a donation that will surpass the 5% from the richer miners/investors. This is my opinion though.

Noooooooooope.
+1  Grin (actually those who give aren't generally the big whale (who have to pay their electricity bill and pool fee... Grin good one  Grin) but rather the small users, or some coin supporters in some case... the community doesn't show a lot its appreciation... )

look u r going to defend the 5% fee and then u come here and talk oh come on even the op doesn't agree with such a high fee ... that is pure GREED period !
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v6.1 on: July 30, 2014, 03:18:45 PM
why do i keep seeing devfee : found share like all the time it's like the miner is mining for him rather than me i see dev fee found share more than i see found share without the "dev fee :"

somebody wants to explain

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v6.1 on: July 29, 2014, 10:41:48 PM
people, 6.1 miner sucks.
it shows a couple % more hash in miner itself, but pool says 20-30% less, and you get 20-30% less xmr in your wallet.

also, clay added two more dev fee adresses for you guys that are using older minerproxys.

4.0 miner + minerproxy works the best.

5% is just too much.

Yup, I totally agree! I was getting robbed using 6.1. Going back to 4.0 brought up my hash at both pools I use. **6.1 is a piece of shit**

does 4.0 work for older 6900 , 5800 series GPUs ?!

and yes 5% is too high , period

don't now that.
you can use newer versions of miner that works, and also use the newest version of minerproxy.

what does miner proxy do ?
