1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DD] DogecoinDark - very dark wow - X13 - POS on: September 11, 2014, 06:53:20 PM
I deleted the old wallet and downloaded the new one and sent some to cryptoine and they are saying they didn't get it. Can someone post their wallet address so I can test it and make sure somehow this problem is not my fault?

Thanks

This is my address at cryptoine, I can confirm if you want to send a test.

I don't even have that much and I was an advocate in the beginning for the coin, but now it's just become one big polluted mess and garbage of a situation. I will not promote this coin. I will not tell others to buy into it. Even if the Dev does save face an provides a miracle coin.

We've all been strung out entirely too long. 3 days was the statement provided on Bittrex and also in the original post. Either open up and let us trade or refund the money. Keeping it closed only hurts investors further. (Then again it doesn't appear that the investors are even cared about here)

Call me crazy but I'd rather the coin go to absolute shit and be worth nothing during trading, than to want to trade it and not be able to because it's frozen. At this point it's worth nothing to me because it's just sitting there.

Makes it very difficult, when I can not even choose to sell at a loss and move on

Do you remember that 40 btc buyout? It could be the dev himself.

He just bought his own coins for his own money and sold it. Double profit.

At first I was going to say that doesn't make sense. However, if the dev bought his own coins and then dumped, his coins are virtually "free" because of the ICO funds he will receive from Bittrex.

What would be gained ?  Less BTC would be made in the end

personally it wouldnt surprise me, this sort of thing happens all the time with pools, i dont know if hurting bittrex right now would be good overall for crypto people only recently got over mintpal, the whole thing has to appear stable to keep knew people coming and for crypto to be more widely adopted otherwise crypto will destroy itself

The best way to deconstruct a scam is to to determine who will benefit from the scam. Who would gain from instadumping ClusterCoins?

1. Let's go with the narrative the dev had a hidden premine, how did the dev get it to the exchange so quickly? I am not sure at the time it was even possible to transfer coins into Bittrex. Even if it was, the dev didn't have enough time to transfer the coins and start dumping.

2. The other narrative is Bittrex dumped the coins. Do you guys really think the guys at Bittrex are so stupid they would start dumping the coins immediately after trading started? If they were going to do something fishy, they are smart enough to let the price increase first before dumping.

3. The mysterious whale. Anyone that has traded for a few months know massive dumping an ICO at the start of trading is not a known tactic to shakeout cheap coins. Whales do not shakeout coins like this, this was a massive dump not a shakeout.

As you can see 1 - 3 doesn't make sense.

Here are my theories:

4. Some competing exchange views Bittrex as a threat and orchestrated the dump to cause people to boycott the exchange. If that was the motive it is working like a charm.

5. My final theory is so ludicrous it could actually be possible. Some whale setup his bot incorrectly, and it went haywire and started dumping as soon as trading began. Of course no one will ever come forward and admit they were the "idiot" that setup their bot incorrectly and instadumped their coins at a loss.

Just theories....

I think the most likely thing happened : The immature idiots that trade in crypto, just panic sold the coin down, I've seen it happen many times before. The issue now is that bittrex won't even allow us to trade the coin, not giving anyone the opportunity to support the price or try to buy it back up to 10k sats.

Why is trading still offline ? At least give us the opportunity to trade it to zero

As more exchanges are added, will the software require you to hold QTL coins at each exchange for it to function ?

I think Bittrex is the homebase where you need to hold QTL unless some exchange bribe off the devs Wink

Are you just guessing ?  Or do you have info on that ?

I want to state one of my moves publicly so that i can at least try to remain a bit transparent with you guys. I am about to put 2 btc in at ask as i need the KEY for our nodes. If the nodes hold a higher amount of key, we can have a higher max per anon transaction and i am purchasing those right now.

I hope you guys see this as both a statement of faith, and an act of my continued support for this coin.

I am also paying a bounty for a mac wallet. Anyone capable, PM me with your cost requirements. I have another guy working on it, but the first person to get it gets the payment.

I appreciate this

DEV Update 7/20

I find it funny how the altcoin community complains about all the "shitcoins" that come out, but for every new coin, they dump the ones that are works in progress and jump on the newest released coins.

It's not really the devs to blame for this trend, releasing all these scam and shit coins. It the altcoin community, they show with their bitcoins that they dont care about many projects, they just want to jump on the next train. Stop blaming the devs for creating more coins and then abandoning them and moving to the next. They abandon them because their communities and investors do first. If you believe in a project, we should all work together and support and promote it.

With that said, KEY has had some tumultuous price waves over the last two days. We the dev team are still strong and believe in our project. We're moving forward. Anon is working and underway and we will have an explanation and infographics on this soon.

Yes, the USB metal key is going to be a mix of Tails, Tor, and the KEY wallet. You will be able to plug the usb KEY into any usb port on your pc, boot up and be connected only to Tor encrypted without any DNS leaking or other programs making connections through regular IP. Coins will be sent through the anonymous mixers and through Tor. Best would be to use the KEY on a laptop and a public wifi.

There's a lot of things to be done and we're doing our best to meet all the goals. We've brought a couple more members on the team to help with content writing and infographics so we can present more to the community. I'm working on the website and hope to be live tonight, or possibly tomorrow.

Thanks to KEY believers for staying with us.

Thanks for the update and details of the USB KEY drive , looking forward to using it.

July 18, 2014:  KEY Update

KEY Proof-of-Work has ended and the coin has gone into full POS.

Thank you for helping us mine securely through the small blocks at the end of POW.

We're currently working together the KEY website, and today we leased more servers to start testing some features.

KeyCoin Devs

July 18, 2014:  More news from KEY Developers. Second update today Smiley

We're now listed on coinmarketcap.com and doing quite well.

A website is under development, for now our holding page is up at www.keycoincrypto.com

As mentioned in the previous post, we leased more servers. We are now running 8 nodes for the coin, all staking to increase POS network health.

12 more servers have been rented so we can implement our anonymous coin sending technology. We aren't making a huge deal out of this yet, but yes, it is working, and yes, it will be completely finished and released in the next few days. We will have explanations and infographics closer to the release - for now, we don't want to hype things up too much. More features are coming, and will be announced closer to their completion.

KeyCoin Devs

WOW, anon coin sending, value added !!

Looking good. The name alone gives this coin real world potential. Can't believe no one thought of this before. Key dev headquarters is going to be right next to jpmorgan in New York. lol.

There are only 1 million coins available, the value will rocket when features are announced
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin - X13 - No Premine - Community Bonus - Cryptsy - Updates on: July 17, 2014, 10:43:39 AM

A Message to the Community From the KEY Team

We've spent the last 12 hours making sure our network is as stable and secure as possible. More nodes have been added and the checkpointing depth has been tweaked.

We're releasing a new wallet with DNSSEED updates so that wallets automatically connect to to nodes without editing the keycoin.conf file.

POW checkpoints have been added to the code to improve blockchain security.

This is an optional update. The new wallet is here:

https://mega.co.nz/#!JMMAxQ7I!evtw_VQE_WtOiVjFWfiiEpb3pr7vpR0pjyYnIuoU-qE

Linux users may git pull.

We've also updated the KeyCoin logo. We like this one better so it will be used until we have a community contest for a new logo. One step at a time.

Customized QT wallet features are being worked on, and we will be adding Tor nodes in the next few days, for those users who wish to connect through Tor.

Other features are also being worked on. Please check the ANN for updates.

If anyone missed our official introduction statement: https://mega.co.nz/#!YA82hLTB!Eh-qvTzt_0fLWfPjn_jn--uyuZEEAxa3dEtngD4f4Yw

Thanks for the update, I appreciate being informed, shows you guys are involved and things are progressing. Please keep the updates coming, love the new logo, can't wait for contests
