1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia: Lot of users with issues in withdrawal and deposit on: February 15, 2018, 12:24:19 AM
I'm having an issue where my crowdcoin deposits have suddenly stopped showing up on the exchange.
Looking at the block explorer I can clearly see the wallet has received those coins, but they aren't showing up on the exchange....
Nearly 24 hours and no response from support...

This is nonsense.

I have problems with CRC too. Sent a small amount (fortunately) last Sunday and it is stuck at 18/20 confirmation. Looking at all complaints against Cryptopia I am thinking about leaving the exchange, but I just don't want all my coins to be lost now.

My coins made it through today, with no explanation why there was any delay.. supports doesn't like to answer tickets.

I got my board today...never got a tracking number. But, about 10 minutes ago got a knock on the door and it was was the dhl guy with my mining mobo.

Just phone pictures, taken in my dimly lit basement, I'm sure they served their purpose.

Also, I ordered on Jan. 20th, if that makes a difference.

We are getting ready to ship the new batch of boards soon. Still have some work left to get them all ready, but here's a short teaser of how the new cooler will look like.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stability Issues on: January 19, 2018, 03:06:51 AM
I use KlausT and had similar issues.

First, I had crashing issues as well when I combined different types (1070 with 1060's in my case ) in the same mining program.

Run them in separate instances and then see if one of them crashes. if it does, then you know which cards aren't liking the oc'ing you're doing. If not, then they simply didn't like being together, at least that's what I've come up with.

This tech has worked for me until I can fix the problem completely.

also, to add what I've found stable for my system, I have two rigs. I run 4 1060s in the same instance and no issues. On the 2nd rig i have 2 1060's running together and a single 1070 running in a solo instance. I found that the 1070 didn't like my aggressive oc'ing, so I backed it down a bit and so far 6 hours and no crashes.

Edit:
I just noticed you said the WHOLE rig locks up? damn, maybe a short or power issue?

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Separate Mining programs running at once on: January 16, 2018, 08:02:04 PM
Unless you are mining different algorithms or different coins, there is no good reason to run separate instances.

Not to contradict you here, the only reason why I started doing it was because I have complete mix bag of cards. I have everything from 1070's to 750ti's, but, mostly 1060s.

If I ran those all together it would crash at different points, so through my various resolutions one that I found to be productive was running separate instances of the different cards, 750ti x2 on one instance and so on up the line. Now, to be fair, with overclocking and other various reasons, I've never gone back and recombined them into one instance.

I just went back in and combined the 1060's into one instance, I left the 1070 separate and 750ti's have been removed for lack of space.

tl;dr.

Just wondered if running the separate instance and having the difficulty run lower was I hurting myself.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Separate Mining programs running at once on: January 16, 2018, 07:15:10 AM
Run all cards on one mining instance or separate them and run one for each card?

Seems like my difficulty goes much higher running one instance then if I run separate instances for each card.

I assume that's a good thing for the coin I'm mining currently.

Question is, am I doing myself a favor by separating them or not?
13  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: Bitmain antminer S9 on: January 15, 2018, 01:24:06 AM
I feel like I've seen those pics posted many times before in other ads. I'd be cautious here.

Also, those aren't even s9's , one pic is L3 and the others are s7's.

You have 12 x 1080 ti's and you are worried about the costs of power supplies??  Huh

This has to be the dumbest things I've ever heard.

18 f is not going to be good for the motherboard and other parts of that computer. while it would do well for the gpus absolutely, i'd be careful with those temps constantly on a motherboard, hd, and other parts that don't get completely warmed up.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cheapest possible way to mine on: December 31, 2017, 03:11:09 AM
You asked about the "cheapest possible way to mine".

If you're on a tight budget, don't want to wait for hard-to-find hardware, you could always do some hashing by hand using pencil and paper.

see: http://www.righto.com/2014/09/mining-bitcoin-with-pencil-and-paper.html

It only took me 600 days to solve my first block, beat that!

I think the amd cards can duel mine, but are harder to optimize them compared to the nvidia cards. Just my thoughts.
