1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum about to pull a Cloak? on: November 19, 2015, 06:24:02 AM
It will be 15 Nov soon but ETH has not risen much like CLOAK. If your prediction is true, ETH would have gone up to 0.01 BTC by now.

It could still turn out like Paycoin Cheesy

Don't be so optimistic, I dont trust the ETH developers the least.

Paycoin was an obvious scam.

Ether is a token for exchange of value between contracts, and between individuals and contracts.

It was never intended to be a currency used to buy a comfy chair from Overstock.com.

Speculating in Ether is a fool's game, it's only purpose is to be a unit of value to exchange for "gas".
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: September 26, 2014, 04:57:27 AM
Large stakeholders are now bailing.

The forum is heavily censored. I didn't even realize I had been banned, my posts still showed in the thread (to me) just not to anyone else.

I have money there and just want to get out, but I can't post a WTS thread.

If you were considering Zen, my suggestion is to stay far away.

For any Zen believers my account is for sale, it's small 27.3 MH, make an offer.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: September 06, 2014, 12:27:54 PM
I sold my hashlets yesterday, but noticed I have no payout now for today Wink

Since we are paid about 16 hours after we "mine," there should have been one.  Contacting support...let's see how much of a hassle this is.

GAW certainly does not do details well.

I discovered this too. If the hash is not in your account at payout time you get nothing for the day.

The buyer gets activation codes as if they were brand new hashlets, they do not get the payout either.

Zen just pockets it.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: GAWMiner Hashlet Discussion Thread on: September 04, 2014, 10:32:31 AM
So the only benefit for the Hashlet Prime is the fact you can change pools and they "might" introduce new algorithms?

Did everyone who bought the standard Hashlet get upgraded to a Prime? If so, it really makes me think it's not worth the money. To go from $16 to $40 for no reason..

Yes everyone who had the standard hashlet before the new ones came along got their hashlets upgraded to Prime.

I do wonder the same although we could all get surprised in the coming days, as there must be a good reason why it is more expensive compared to a zen hashlet.

It makes no sense at the moment, as the zen pool is the most profitable pool anyway, so why would you want to switch it to anything else.

Exactly, I want to buy but I feel like I'm being ripped :/

Should I buy a zen, prime or just buy more BTC? I was gonna do it for a bit of a hobby/laugh to be honest as I used to mine but have nothing to "keep and eye on" these days.

If I where to get some more Hashlets today I would probably go for the ZenHashlet Solo rather than shelling out for a Prime. As you said above, the price diff between the two is too big right now. However that being said, when we get to find out what is planned for the Primes (scrypt-n mining is rumored), perhaps they will be a better alternative later on. But paying 2x for a Prime compared to a Zen Solo is speculating that something better is to come.

If you want Primes but don't wish to pay full price, try the marketplace section of hashtalk.org There are quite a few for sale, including my own Smiley The going rate seems to about $27 per MH.

so the new hashlets were just to make people think they have a choice and the old miners are now $30

WOW just WOW.

Not sure why the people on here who currently have hashlets are holding on to them?
Sell your hashlets and get out of this Ponzi scam before its too late and they get raided.

That's good advice, I will sell.

How many do you wish to buy ?
I'd recommend to ignore that troll memcid/flexhash. This clueless dog just barks all day. Nothing new here.

My post was meant to a s sarcastic reply ... guess that didn't translate into text so well Smiley

Smells very much like a Ponzi scam

Because it is and they need to be shut down.
So how did you lose $15,000 to GAWMiners?

I had $15,000 worth of hardware with them and I started asking questions and posting various proof on hashtalk and they locked my account and banned me.
I therefore gave the proof to the feds and I'm waiting until something happens.

Riiiight. You're full of crap.

He has fed friends, beware, and he took those 15k straight out of his butthole.

From what I understand, ether doesn't exist yet. So this is probably a scam.

ok i'm selling ETH in the other thread too... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762079.0

and i have to say... i dont think its a scam....

i meet one of the guys behind it at a bitcoin meetup.

Ether is a "Bitcoin 2.0" protocol ( you can code with it ) or at least its gana be when they finaly perfect it.

anyway... hero member "saying i really don't thing ETH is a scam coin..."

take it how you will.

I think people may be wondering because the ether genesis block will not even be created till next year Smiley

Maybe you should explain that you are trying to sell an IOU for future ether. and that since you can still keep a copy, you could get the future ether and keep the payment too ...

Fully agree with you, we can't say what will be the price when it will on market,
Buying this time is really very risky investment because we don't know when will it will live on market.

I's not only that, if you buy a wallet now, you have to trust that the seller has not kept a copy.

Whoever redeems the wallet for ether first gets it. You could end up without ether and without the BTC you paid if the seller is dishonest.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: GAWMiner Hashlet Discussion Thread on: August 31, 2014, 01:35:25 PM
I have 68 primes for sale.

PM me with an offer if your interested.

I did kindly ask volder to let the adults get some work done if he couldn't answer my questions, that shouldn't be offensive, thats the PC way of saying fuck off.

That would be correct for a normal person, but not for volder the self-proclaimed whale investor and inside trader with moderator powers... well you learned your lesson Smiley

There are a couple of other resellers that you should probably stay away when you get back, forgot their names, but I think you know who I'm talking about.

I think Volder made a nice profit, He had a buy thread taking any sellers at 16.

Then he sold to new buyers after the price increase for 19.50.

He claimed these were new, straight from Zen, but I sold a few hashlets I had and when my buyer got then, he got activation codes just as you would with a brand new one Smiley
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS] Ethereum - Buy ETH (ether) at a reduced price, 10% OFF on: August 31, 2014, 12:24:54 PM
As posted by Stephen_Tual (Ethereum team member)

It's impossible to trade ether either during or post ether sale. The reason is as simple as it is obvious: if Alice tries to sell her wallet to Bob, what tells Bob that Alice has not kept a copy of her wallet somewhere? Nothing, its impossible to prove, and therefore it's impossible to safely trade ether pre-genesis.

I am a newbie and love reading your thread.

Thanks for all your support

I bought 30MH of Hashlet, hope it was good investment...

Even at the rate Zenpool is paying, you will not recoup your investment ,,, it simple math.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW OneMiner ZenCloud Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: August 24, 2014, 02:02:34 AM
For anyone doubting here is a photo of just one of GAWMiners farms from the CEO Josh Garza

http://altcoinforum.org/GAWfarm.jpg

You might want to pull it seeing that it was deleted from hashtalk.

We can see a warehouse and that they have a few hundred miners miners in stock. It's very unlikely that it's a mining farm since there is not a single cable, power supply, or controller in sight and you can't stack Zeus hardware like that. These red ones are Falcons I think, that's 1 KW per machine. Not sure what the black ones are, maybe Zeus Thunder - similar to Falcon. At the very least I would like to see the other side of those shelves. There would need to be some impressive cable management and cooling back there.

Come on dude you're getting a bit ridiculous.

He's correct that this is not a mining farm, its just a warehouse.

Look at the black pipes running across the top of the building, those are water pipes, part of the fire suppression system. I've seen many data center's and believe me, they do not use water for fire suppression.   Cheesy

Also the sheer volume of air in that building would make cooling impractical.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 19, 2014, 12:30:14 AM
can we send coins to exchange now?

If your running the new wallet code, you should be able to.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 18, 2014, 03:46:45 AM
This is a fantastic coin, Granted, there are some issues, you can't mine it, and you can't send any coins, these are minor issues.

Look at all the advanced features these dev's have put into the coin, I'm sure these will work just fine.

I will buy heavily as soon the the exchanges start up again.

This is one talented team.
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW OneMiner ZenCloud Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: August 16, 2014, 02:02:15 AM
It's pretty obvious that GAW/Zen is out of cash and desperate.

I'm not sure how they could decided that a ridiculous announcement like this would keep them going.

A perpetual money machine.

That can't be a scam.  Cheesy

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]MULTICOIN丨X11丨MC丨First Multi Signature Coin | Multi Coin - Multi Vote on: August 04, 2014, 02:24:26 AM

First of all, the Dev made a mistake. He most likely wasn't focused on that aspect of the code because he had a vision on a different area of the code. He admitted to the mistake, its not that big of a deal.
[/quote]

He wasn't focused on how many would be produced? I could buy a typo .. eg. he meant 1000 but typed 10000, but 5000 vs. 10000 .. come on.

Then to deny it. It wasn't until I posted the code showing it would be 10000 blocks that he responded. Why? Because he knows nothing about programming and couldn't even interpret the code until someone spoon fed it to him.

[/quote]
Second, the WALLET is more secure that every other Crypto wallet there is. But this isn't all, the Keyjoin factor is being developed as we speak, which IS a new feature, a feature that bitgo raised 12 MILLION dollars to develope.

Third, even IF the coin is stagnant for awhile, have you seen the coins on the market? BOOM has nothing special. At all. It's literally a copy paste code of the standard crypto with the logo on some shirts, and it still is taking off. Multicoin at least has a one up right now (secure wallet) as well as a one up in the future (keyjoin being developed)
[/quote]

Why is it more secure .. show me the code. The current code in Github is a mishmash of other coins code. The multisig feature is fake. If you want to see a cut and paste coin .. multi is it
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]MULTICOIN丨X11丨MC丨First Multi Signature Coin | Multi Coin - Multi Vote on: August 04, 2014, 01:11:31 AM
I have never seen so many people angry that their worthless bag isn't going to be worthless after all. I personally have about 19k coins at this time. When mining is over I will have about 19k coins. In the real world, it is not ethical for company to buy their own stocks cheap one day and then announce a deal with a major retailer the next day just to sell their stocks at a ridiculously high rate and walk away with everyones money.

Today, Crypto is a dirty ballgame where most big investors rely on insider trading and privileged information to profit off of everyone else. As tempting as it may be, we will not contribute to this philosophy where the rich get richer and then burn out to release a new coin the next day.

Several of the MC majority shareholders have asked us to fork MC and roll back so they can remain the majority holders. In response to our refusal, they have promised to destroy MC and, as a result, destroy any means in which we could pay for the continued development as planned. In essence, they want to control the market or they have promised to harm every single MC holder without remorse. It is a dark day indeed and this needs fixing.

dev , you need to explain why he said multi-sig is a joke.

The KeyJoin update we have planned would expand the features of MC to match those of the $12,000,000 Bitgo wallet. MC still has work to be done and as you can see for yourselves we have made some serious progress.

It is easy to twist the truth. We started out thinking they just wanted more information but have long since come to realize they only mean to harm us and will never stop. When they said we were hidden block premine scammers, we deleted the messages. When they said we had abandoned you, we kept working and ignored them. I do not know what the real motivation is, but we can look back at the ridiculous accusations made since day one and see they care not for the truth nor for your best interests and when proven incorrect they regroup with a new angle of attack. We will carry on like we promised and will not waste any more time fueling the flames.

+1000 dev. Proud your still trying hard even going under fire from so many people who think the world is perfect and free of mistakes.

After the coin still paid out POW blocks (after block 5000) the dev posted that that wasn't true .. the blocks would pay 0.

That makes it pretty obvious that the dev can't even read code, much less write C++.

The multisig features of this coin are fake. This is really funny because there are more than one open source implementations of true multisig. It would be fairly simple to move this code in and actually have it work.

This dev can't code. There will be no new features. Buy or mine this coin at your own risk. I see it as a losing proposition.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]MULTICOIN丨X11丨MC丨First Multi Signature Coin | Multi Coin - Multi Vote on: August 03, 2014, 05:28:48 AM
Glad to see that the dev is back and this thread is back on track.

Also interesting to see that the first option is currently leading. But with a block reward of 400 coins per block and 10,000 blocks, wouldn't that be the same thing as 4 million coins? Since 400 multiplied by 10,000 is 4,000,000? So how does the second option differ from the first?

Exactly the same. We initially weighed the cost of offering different options but this would be a logistical nightmare. Also, after we had the admins remove our moderating abilities, we have also lost the ability to remove the poll. So we threw the numbers in there and no matter what you choose, you will win the vote this time.

Multisig, have you responded to C-Cex in order to have trading restored on their exchange ?
