Any News on a Mac Wallet?

Now is a great time to buy Max - and if we keep hold of them and only sell small amounts as the price rises (if necessary) this will keep the steady price rises stable.
If this does hit the $2 mark some are predicting and everyone starts selling lots of coins at this stage, the price will crash again.
But if we all sell conservatively - and only where necessary, the price increasing to $5 is definitely possible.
So hold on to your hats (and Max) and enjoy the ride.

Is there any proof of this or are you just guessing? I'm new to MAX so I don't know who anyone here is but you don't look like the dev. Are you a max coin insider, perhaps? It would be nice to get some sort of official confirmation from the devs here stating that max is still very much involved in MaxCoin. That would be a big deal to a lot of new investors.

I talk to Max Keiser in person on an almost daily basis. I also speak on behalf of the team. If you want official confirmation of Max Keiser's involvement, then tweet him. Or just read his twitter feed. Just today, he posted several tweets about maxcoin. As I said, he is still closely involved. Those claiming otherwise have no involvement with the coin and are just being dishonest and trying to spread FUD. Let me translate to right words: Iam dev and we make maxcoin to make money forselfs. We need money and we tell you anything possible and imaginable to persuade spend your BTC/USD and any other right money to we earn fortune. We not afraid of lies. Of course that we fuck all of you becase we need your money and nothing else. We have agreement with Keiser and we split earnings 50:50. Ongoing developer support when was the last feature released for maxcoin? before or after the last iceage?
Paper wallets ? around 100 coins have them
Multiple exchanges? Same
Stabilized price floor? Yup , flat bottom.
A number of crowd funding projects .. of which none is going through
Atm.. none

I doubt anyone is crazy enough to stake a huge amount of money in this, but i'll state this loud and clear: I'd advise against it - but a small bet won't kill anyone. I hold a small amount of Maxcoin, too small to worry about the price going down any further (or up, for that matter).
But i find the pro-coin V hate-coin debate here an interesting social experiment.
It's natural that those who have spent a lot on this coin will post that it is alive - after all, they have an interest in raising the price.
Those that proclaim it dead may well be right, but if the coin is dead (and it looks that way, but looks can be deceiving) surely must have sold all their coins? (after all, it is only going to get worse, right?) and if so, why are they visiting this forum to post? surely people in this category will have moved on?
But regardless of whether the value of the coin goes up or down, you can only sell if there are willing buyers. So any increase is only 'monetised' if you can actually sell.
i'm lucky enough (if that's the right phrase) to not really care what happens (i can afford to lose what i have invested in Maxcoin), but if it were to go up - albeit 1% or more, i means nothing unless there is a willing buyer and a simple way to make the trade.

I'm still fairly new to this game... what is the best way to monetise Maxcoin? (or any crypro currency?)
i can see many trading sites that show lots of numbers changing from one coin to another, but if i wanted to sell some Maxcoin, what is a good way to get some actual cash back?
I'm sitting on a measly sum, but if i decided to move on, i'm not sure what the choices are.

Hi subSTRATA - Yes, you are the only person to vote at the moment - I assumed that i'd see the sending address of those who sent coins (because i'm happy to return them - i can see that it looks like a free coin bid though - but really? at 0.02p a coin i'm not gonna be rich!) - but the transaction says from unknown so i couldn't do this automatically. Mentioning it here isn't a solution as anyone could say they sent the coins, and i'd have no way of knowing the truth. Send me your address and i can return them. I still find it odd that those deriding the coin are still posting. If i don't like something, i don't keep returning to the shop to vent... i move on. Surely if you have dumped all your coins, you have no interest any more? This is odd behaviour. I suppose that those who have invested time/mining/money in this to see nil or negative results and have genuinely dumped them, are feeling insecure regarding their decision and need to keep returning to the forum to prove their decision was right. So we have a typical self-fulfilling prophecy - "i dumped because the coin is s&%t and if i continue to deride the coin, i can continue to feel good about my decision" If you genuinely think this coin is going no-where, and have dumped all your coins, and if you post negativity here, you are just showing your own insecurity regarding your decision.
