1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / HashCookie Pool - Alpha Testers Needed and Coin Suggestions! on: August 06, 2014, 11:01:54 AM

HashCookie Mining Pools

We, HashCookie Mining Pools, are creating a simple, powerful pool network. We are running the new CoiniumServ system, allowing many algorithms, coins and miners with fast payouts and efficient mining.

This system is currently pre-release, and is buggy. Therefore, as we begin to implement our pools, we ask of some Alpha testers prepared to point and old GPU BTC miner at us to help out.

The new system will allow for many coins, all mineable on the same address (eg. scrypt.hashcookie.org:3333 is LTC and :3334 is FTC). On the list of things to do is a profit switching miner such as the one nicehash uses (point your miner at the server and it chooses the right coin for you). We have the basic pair, BTC and LTC, but are in need of some new coins!

Which coins would you like to see in a revolutionary pool system?

If you want to be a part of our Alpha testing team, send us a pm!

So for those holding and accumulating this coin, what's the draw?  I'm mining it with my nvidia cards because I was sick of JPC and hoped this could go somewhere.

I have about 30K coins from mining and am wondering if it's time to move on or not.  We can look at success stories like britcoin and take solace that it can take a little time to get going, but that dev team is really on top of things trying to get the word out.

What say you?

30k is decent, once it hits Poloniex (shortly, by the looks of it), people will see it and become curious, then inspect the ann to see its unique features. This is where the other half of investors come from, and once it gets there things will start happening

Which pool do you prefer and what do you think about Hashharder or Suprnova?

And what's your preferred cl file? whirlcoin.cl, whirlcoin_old.cl or wirlpool.cl?

Is it common with the whirlcoin algo to get after a new start of ccMiner at the beginning about 55 rejects before first MHs gets accepted?

My Nvidia GTX 750 Ti settings:

Code:
#!/bin/sh

export DISPLAY=:0

export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100

export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1

cd /home/x/ccminer-djm34-0723

./ccminer -t 1 -a whirlcoin -o stratum+tcp://www.hashharder.com:9649 -u XXX -p X

I get about 40% rejects with the newest ccMiner and about 25% with the newest SPH-SGMiner.

THX for every hint Smiley

Strange, usually that problem is to do more with internet than miners - do the rejects stop after a while?

I've finally managed to get whrl.hashcookie.org online, but I'm not getting any accepted shares. Could someone point some hashes there for me?  Thanks Smiley

I'm running NOMP and MPOS together, and I think it has something to do with my nomp configuration, but there's no errors anywhere...

HashCookie.org is proud to announce it will be hosting WhirlCoin as its first coin!

MPOS at this stage, but huge modifications are planned, including web based pool switching! (Always mine to one address, change pools via web interface)

We hope to see you at the launch!
