It seems like that united won't sack ten hag soon following his good result against manchester city. United is not trophyless this season. It's also replacing chelsea to go to the conference league too. I think that INEOS will try to stay with him. I have been streaming it, fergie and sir jim were also watching the game.

Yes this will definitely make The Glazers and INEOS who are currently handling the sporting aspect of the club something to think about. Two season three finals and two trophies that’s a way to start if you ask me. People will tell you he is 8th in the league and I say even Arteta spent two seasons outside the top 6 and currently they are league contenders. If you ask me INEOS needs to stick with Ten Hag because let’s analyze this, who will they bring? Definitely a new and young manager who will want to start all over again, can they offer him the time to do that? I don’t think so. Ten Hag this season has played with his preferred first eleven and That will affect just any club. Today with a half fit team they Push the best team In the world and won.

IMO, ten hag will be staying for another season. He will not leave from the club. FA cup gives him a hope to manage united for another season. Even though this is not a prestigious trophy but united can at very least avoid to be a trophyless club this season.

That's more than enough to be a reason ten hag to stay.

Firstly let me reiterate your statement a little, the Emirate FA cup is the a prestigious trophy not only in England but around the world, it is the oldest cup in club football. If it is not prestigious the spot of an European football wouldn’t be offered to the winner. The cup might not be as mighty as the league trophy or the champions league but it is definitely there. If we say it is not prestigious then we are equally saying the Europa league Isn’t also

Many betting markets are broken because Manchester United beat favorites Manchester City. 9.60 odds before live match. For those who dare to choose Manchester United's winning odds before the match starts, an extraordinary victory for them.

Doubts about saying that Manchester United really don't have a big chance in this final are quite unfounded. I don't blame those who analyze like that, but it is surprising that Manchester United's winning mentality in the FA Cup has not been damaged like they were in the PL.
I'm quite happy with this win at Wembley and this is the 13th trophy.

That’s the beauty about football, sometimes you will be given the necessary doubts and with determination you will overcome. I wouldn’t say I was too confident that Manchester United will win but I was full of optimism that they will definitely push city through this and they did. The first 45 minutes of the match was definitely a show of brilliance by Ten Hag, he was  very aware that Manchester city love to hold the ball very well, so he decide to compact the midfield. Bruno today definitely showcase his talent and worthy, he was everywhere today.

I was very happy for Ten Hag becoming victorious in this match because it definitely proves to people all what he has been saying this days. He has always insisted with a fully fit squad he would have won some matches he lost and the show today proves that united with the some additions can definitely play the top football. This right now will give INEOS more to think about as they consider sacking Ten Hag

I also have the same idea with you on Rashford's not having a good season. I just wanted to say that it wouldn't be a surprise for me to see him being included in the squad because of being experienced.

Yes there is a justifiable reason as to why Southgate did dropped Rashford, this season England had some great players Coming out of the ranks and giving Southgate a selection headache. So I wasn’t too surprised to see him missed the cut. But we need to ask ourselves, is this still a case of poor performance only that made Rashford to be dropped because if it is so  then the likes of Grealish too shouldn’t be there because stats wise Rashford had a better season than him. Rashford too me has never been appreciated much by Southgate because even last season when Rashford had one of the best seasons of his career he went to the World Cup to get just few minutes, so to me there is also personal preference attached to his exclusion

Turkey are having quite much problems on especially goalkeeper and forward topics. Therefore I also don't think that we will progress so much further in the tournament. I hope that we can make a surprise.

Turkey seriously have lost the pedigree they use to have in the past when they have five or more classy players that they can boost of turning the tie around for them. Currently I would say they have a squad that is young if managed well will definitely caused problems to other Nations. In the Goal keeper position I think the Manchester United second choice Bayindar will definitely slot in, although he hasn’t played any significant minutes this season, to me watching him in the only game he’s played for Manchester United this season I think he could do the job. As for the forwards, the likes of Arda Guler and Juventus Yildiz might look so young but they could be pivotal in this competition looking at how they have faired this season
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 24, 2024, 10:38:10 PM
Firstly, I don’t think Klopp will accept the offer to coach Bayern Munich that was their direct rivals while he was coaching Dortmund before becoming Liverpool’s managers, and for him to have decided to leave just like that means he may not take any club offer for now.

On the other hand; Vincent Kompany is not a bad coach, he haven’t coached a big team yet but his tactics are better just that they lack quality players that can help the team with extra effort.
I am expecting him to be a very competitive coach at Bayern Munich, he will give his best to overtake Alonso next season.

No club is definitely not taking any managerial role currently as he has started that he is going for a very long and well deserved rest from all this. He even pointed out that it could even be over that he would not return back it. So there is no way Bayern Munich will have gotten him. Moreover the German is a very passionate coach and has this unique bond with the previous employees and this mutual understanding will definitely make him not to take a job from Bayern Munich. I could remember his response of either managing another premier club aside Liverpool and he clearly said he doesn’t see himself doing that.

This is probably the worst bid that a saudi team could make. Even if they had all the money to sign him, there is no way Leao is going to move there. He is only 25 years old and all the other top clubs on top league have hi on their radar. I know The Saudi Pro League is serious with their project of turning their league into top tier league but this is definitely too much for them. I

Its just absurd to even bid on a 25 years old player. Normally they would go for players over 30 years of age

This is not the first or the most absurd bids by the Saudi pro league clubs. They have started going for younger players to come sign for them not just this season but since last season. The hierarchy said they are quite different from the Chinese and they will start coming for the young players. Last season I could remember some quite few going over there which even made Toni Kroos to criticize the players then. They have also had bids for the likes of Mbappe, Oshimen and other exciting young talents too, so don’t be too surprised as we will definitely see more of it as promised by the Saudi club’s owners
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you feel when you earn merits in your post or replies. on: May 24, 2024, 09:48:00 PM
I felt nothing different with what you just said and I think that was what motivated me to keep on pushing (learning, studying, making adjustment etc) and sometimes merit is what tells someone they are actually improving and it also give hope. Imagine posting everyday and you made up to 100's of post or more and yet no merit, you will be so depressed and discouraged, I think merit is a reminder which tell someone that he/she is understanding the forum.

The merit was said to been a tool for to reduce the amount of spammers on the forum and it did serve its purpose but the merit  has been treated on the forum has an incentive for doing a great job and this seriously gives people goosebumps. Yes for reputable member who have tons of merit they don’t feel anybody currently but as a newbies whom is looking to become like the top or reputable members they find every merit as an asset which wen gotten is seriously appreciated. Just like how social media have like button or the rest. And how it makes people feel is the same way the merit makes one’s feel.

My first merit was a thing of appreciation and I cherished it so well and it definitely made me wanted to do more posts and get more of it, to grown in the forum one needs this merits and as such it’s worth the fun. If you post everyday and fail to get the merit I think it will definitely get discourage about this
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Allow Non-investors to discourage you in your Bitcoin journey...? on: May 24, 2024, 09:26:15 PM
It's actually funny because OP is asking us as if we already are taking advice from other people from outside the industry when it comes to bitcoin. I never did and still don't.
Back in the day when I first bought bitcoin I didn't really know what it was. Did not have extensive knowledge. I bought it after reading about it for a while, watching videos by people fascinated with it (no, not any pump and dumpers or traders) and kept holding for years. Each bull market filled me up with more and more confidence and so it went. With each bull market (and this is my third one) holding became easier.

Exactly this is is not just any easy task one is embarking on when they want to invest into bitcoin, the thing about it is you need someone who have been in the business to actually guide you and not only that you need his constant advice most at times. This is part of why many investors you will later see selling either at a loss or too only. With someone who has encountered many market corrections will definitely be a source of inspiration for you when you encounter the challenges listed above, having had the experience at in the past you will able to get in depth experience and not just knowledge on how to deal with the stuffs like the bearish period.

It is not even just cryptocurrency or bitcoin situation but overall do not take advice from people who are not in the niche same as yours. People who are not into bitcoin will always dissuade you from investing in it because everyone Always sides with their believe and as such you don’t expect someone who might have been seeing bitcoin as scam as your advisor
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea of btc is genius the limited supply that's why i think it's safe heaven on: May 23, 2024, 10:28:40 PM

It isn’t the only reason why but it is one of the reasons. You can imagine what large total supply we see these days. You can see a token total supply over trillions and whatever number is after that. If Bitcoin did that, it would definitely not be valued the way it is. The demand is increasing but it’s not too available as well, if Bitcoin was like 100 trillion supply, it would be easier to own 1 because there’s just too many.

The limited supply of bitcoin has in no doubt added value to the bitcoin price but I will say the other thing that actually made Bitcoin unique was not just this but different set of advantages ranging from being your own bank to it been decentralized and many more. Just has you have said the denomination or total supply could still have been more than 21 million and still be this sorted after. Let’s say it was a trillion total supply then yeh value wouldn’t still be worthless just the a single bitcoin might be what a satoshi; the minimum denomination of bitcoin is worth now. The major thing that made bitcoin more valuable is the growing popularity or say rate of adoption
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Work From Home or The "Laptop Class" is Immoral or Not? on: May 23, 2024, 10:14:08 PM
What it has anything to do with the moral values?

Work from home is the new normal and it's the fact that we can't change and that's what the evolution of internet will lead to anyway sooner or later if COVID hasn't interfered in midway and forced everyone to work from their place.

Work from home is actually good for the company too, they no need skyscraper offices, no need to spend huge money in electricity bills and work at everyone's convenience.

The world is rapidly moving towards becoming a smaller village with the inception of new technologies daily and as such some things are there that are going to be stopped. The new generation of Gen Z are definitely those who are exploiting things like working from home to ease not just the workers but the company too some extra expenses that would have been spent on a physical working environment. But still I will say that the act of working all from home to me is certainly not attainable for all companies no matter what because, some companies would definitely need a physical establishment before they can earn the massive trust of customers to prioritize them. A total work from home would certainly cast doubt on the effectiveness of the services.

The Tech Industry are easily the most effective setups that can easily venture into the work from home thing because they usually do not need edifice to show the customers or consumers that they can be trusted. But for sectors like health and educational services then a work from home wouldn’t be enough for the clients even if it is a consultancy.

Elon is a scumbag and his opinions are worthless. He got rich because he was given a bunch of money and was lucky enough to be in the right spot when Paypal needed a cash injection in the early days. He is far from a genius, he was just able to accumulate enough money from other peoples hard work and then decided to go on a Twitter spam fest. He's been known to do insider trading, has a brutally thin ego that reacts badly to offense when he is shown up as a clown and has wasted huge amounts of money ($20 billion+ overpaying on Twitter alone). He wants people in his companies in the office so he can squeeze all of the energy out of them, but it is not good for the workers.

Personally what I will say i deduced from the relaxing of worker working from home for the then Twitter and now X by Elon Musk was just to me a thing of cutting down expenses on the company. Elon Musk even though regarded as the richest man currently took a major hit when he bought the then twitter company. If we recall it was also the period where inflation was threatening a lot and he had to cut his loses like the way other companies do during recessions. He must have weighed the value of this workers and felt like those working from home could actually be less effective and that’s why they were the targeted ones to lose their jobs
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 23, 2024, 09:41:28 PM

But it seems, if for example Bayern Munich doesn't get the right coach next season, then maybe Bayer Leverkusen will still be able to win the Bundesliga trophy again next season. I think this could happen, considering that it seems like Bayern Munich also has internal problems which are likely to be difficult for them to overcome, especially regarding the right coach for Bayern Munich next season. That way, it is very likely that teams like Dortmund, Leipzig and Suttgart will also be better next season. Ofcourse,it would be interesting if Bayern Munich failed to dominate the league, because with Bayern Munich still in chaos it would give other teams in the Bundesliga have the chance to win the Bundesliga trophy.

With the way things are going forth for Bayern Munich it is not brainer that they definitely have an internal problem which they are yet to solve completely even though they parted ways with some of the club officials. The biggest mistake was the untimely sack of the current German head coach Julien Neglesmann, who to me was the perfect fit for a club like Bayern. Tuchel who they shouldn’t have announced to that they are considering sacking is now looking to leave even as Bayern Munich is making moves to keep him as feels betrayed. Now Bayern who many have rejected for personal reasons are looking to confirm Komapany as head Coach, this is a very tricky job at this stage for him, because he seriously lacks the experience to head such a big team. But should this come out true then I will give it to Bayern Munich for spotting a talent. Kompany actually is a great potential who if he masters his craft will bring back good days for Bayern.

Bayern Munich falling of the radar is still not I imagine now even though eras come to an end but this Bayern Munich team looks like a club that can still challenge.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 23, 2024, 08:50:52 PM

It will be a puzzle in the next few weeks who will leave and become coach of the 3 big clubs, Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayer Munich.
I see that Pochettino would be the right choice if ETH left Manchester United, we all know that in the last few years Pochettino has always been rumored to be the coach of Manchester United, maybe this season the rumors will be proven.
However, for Bayer Munich, by choosing Kompany, was this the right choice or a reckless choice because several top coaches rejected it.
and if this rumor is true who is the Chelsea coach who will replace Pochettino?

It’s is most surprising seen that lots of football fans are just looking out for  Manchester United to Sack Erik Ten Hag, I still don’t get why. For rival fans I understand they just want to banter Manchester United which is a football thing but for a typical Manchester United fan I find it unreasonable looking at the possibility of this happening, the only valid reason a Manchester United fan will support the sacking of Ten Hag is of you’re a blind Ronaldo and Sancho fan and you’re looking for a way to get back at him. A fan who truly has the club at heart will not want this, take a look at the current market saga aside the old coaches like Mourinho and Conte who is available that is better than Ten Hag that you will want as replacement? Personally I don’t see any manager at the moment.

If you say Manchester United should employ a new young manager then we are starting the rebuild all over again and This is what we have been doing for the past 10 years that Sir Alex left the club. Manchester United need to calm down and restructure from the hierarchy and give Ten Hag sometime and back him with signings they see fit
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 22, 2024, 10:43:45 PM

Really, I haven't seen such update about Xavi Hernandez leaving the club Barcelona at the end of the season. Can you share a link to this? Was this confirmed by Fabrizio Romano?
Didn't they recently worked things out? Deco the club director and some directors within the club wanted and had recent agreement for him to stay next season, I don't know where this one comes up again.
I know nothing about his relationship with them club president but he wasn't backed when he should have been backed. Most of these reporters spread dirty news.

Really, I'll go confirm this new from Fabrizio Romano on YouTube and X. Hansi Flick is tactically sound, I will be rooting for him if he sits top of those names mentioned to replace Xavi Hernandez.

This is definitely old news no need to go back extra to search again, all this candidates where the ones lined up to replace Xavi when he himself announced that he was going to go away from the club. The man who was mostly tipped to replace him was the then De Zerbi and also Hansi Flick; who Barcelona do not held in high regards like that due to playing pattern of high intensity game and Barcelona still prefers the tiki taka pattern. They have analyzed how the market is and decided not to part ways with Xavi again and he will remain next season as their manager.

I have known Chelsea as a low goal scoring team but I was surprised to see Chelsea transition into a goal scoring machine. For the longest period second part of this season I was confidently playing Chelsea 3+ and they have been delivering for me.

This was were most people were getting it wrong but Chelsea weren’t a low scoring team but they conceded lots of goals which affected their goal difference. They actually scored 77 goals with only four clubs Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle the only ones to out score them this season but the number of goals conceded were much also which was 63, higher than that of even Manchester United this season. So they didn’t score less but were just not converting their chances more
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 22, 2024, 10:24:54 PM

Chelsea's performance at the end of the season was very good, even surpassing the performance shown by Manchester United for that Pochenttino deserves to be appreciated, but I don't know why Chelsea management is not satisfied with the results given by Pochenttino, the current rumor is that Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly currently in contact with mckenna. Chelsea management should be able to provide opportunities for Pochettino because it is not easy to compete with great teams in the Premier League.

Not a Chelsea fan but this is a disastrous decision taken by them. The Chelsea team this season would definitely struggle under any manager, the team was filled with many raw talent coming into the premier league for the first time, a league that even the best players usually find themselves not able to perform at a higher level in their first season. Pochettino did well considering the availability at his disposal to me, he was trying to build a team and yet got struck multiple times by injuries to mostly his consistent players, towards the end of the season we all saw how a fully fit Chelsea team can cause havoc.

People say he doesn’t win tittles even in his days at Tottenham and I said how many finals did Juergen Klopp had lose before been at where he is today. What baffled me was that Chelsea were already aware with the lack of quality coaches on the market but yet they had to part ways with this man. I don’t see the future but he is certainly better than the coaches they are currently linked with.

Manchester United are on the verge of making such mistake too by allowing Ten Hag leave with not so many high profile coaches around. Yes both have had a similar bad season but I will definitely give them time. Arteta has now competed twice in row for the Premier League title after finish 8 on his first two seasons which shows that patience is a virtue sometimes
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your parents invest in bitcoin ? on: May 22, 2024, 10:07:02 PM
Convincing parents in terms of technology today is not an easy thing we can do and it is very unlikely that we will succeed in convincing them about crypto, because they are very comfortable with investing in real assets that they have known for a long time and it would be better for them We don't invite them to this risky investment which makes them anxious when they experience failure in the assets they invest in.
What you did was very good, because you didn't force your parents to invest with high risks if they invested and didn't understand it well and you preferred to focus on your own goals so as not to make mistakes in the investments they made.

I will be so brutal but I will say bitcoin isn’t for too older people except they have been in the tech field Long term before. Buying bitcoin or cryptocurrency is just about the money for it but also ways to protect the wallet it stored on are most important. Yes I agree that bitcoin isn’t for just too tech savvy people but also you still need to have that basic knowledge before falling into it.

My biggest concern isn’t even the volatility of price in cryptocurrency, this some of them can handle if you convince them that it is a long term hold thing but the problem is them been their own bank they are easily vulnerable to common simpler phishing attacks like email attacks and can easily lose every thing to scammers which is worse than the price fall we all worry about
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does exercise before and during trading activity help ones chance of good profit on: May 22, 2024, 09:52:06 PM
This forum section is becoming almost like gambling now. People coming up with such shit topics that nobody can contribute properly to. I mean DUH exercise is good for you, we modern humans spend too much time in front of screen. I have to work in front of it 10 hours a day in my shift, and in my break, it's another computer (this one) to come and chat.

That's nothing to do with trading.

If you're trading and glued to your screen eating, and socializing, that's addiction. Bigger problem than no exercise Wink

It is certainly not a thing of debate that it now contains utterly meaningless threads to be sincere, although out of topic but I blame it on the lack of merit been circulated here that will at least be an incentive to quality posters. Once merit reduces from a board it goes to become a spammers den and many quality posters quit coming here.

Does doing regular exercise before and during trading activity help ones chance to make good returns or is it not reason enough to help a trader earn better during trading?

Your strategy is what makes a good trade and nothing more. Yes traders often hit the gym regularly because it is the easiest thing to do to get their body fit. As a trader or even general a human you need to be in a clear state of mind before you do anything most especially mental stressing things like trading which requires you to be in a clearer state of mind. It doesn’t direct impact any changes to your trading but simply keeps you fit and healthy
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 21, 2024, 10:17:03 PM
Chelsea are a crazy club man. Pochettino was starting to get Chelsea looking like a good team again. He wasn’t responsible for most of the signings that haven’t gone that well. I think they should have given him time.

And now I see that the Ipswich manager is favourite to take over?

Crazy, crazy club.

That is it I think Bohely needs to appoint first a director of football that will most likely over see everything about the sporting area of the club so that he could just go and sit aside. He has been Making series of bad decisions since he arrived and to me is the major problem the club currently faces. I am 70% sure this wasn’t a decision made base on the team performance but rather because they couldn’t get to agree with Pochettino terms. The signings done by Bohely was a bit off and was the problem that Pochettino faced, he to me of recent was beginning to get the team play well and should be given the time. Now a new manager will still need more time to get his players and play in a certain pattern which will take a season, more self if it’s a raw manager

Anyone who expected Pochettino to stay at Chelsea after this season is either they didn't pay attention to what that guy actually presented to the team this season or they aren't a fan of the club who love mocking Chelsea and trolling their poor performance or the person doesn't watch most of Chelsea match at all. If not for the fact that Chelsea has done a lot of mistakes by sacking some coaches during the half way season, he should have left before now because I don't see any difference between him and Lampard.

I strongly disagree with you, I expect Pochettino to stay and wasn’t because of banter but because he to me was the perfect person for a long project. He carried the club from 10th to an European places. He might have gotten it hard in the first half of the season but he surely did great in the second half of the season with only Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool the clubs that have more points than him in this half of the season.

Signing another manager now will mean the manager needs time to also get to work which is a step backwards to me. Let’s take a look at Arsenal, they are now competing for the league in two consecutive seasons but you know that it was because of the patience that Arsenal had for him. He finished 8th in two seasons and still got to keep his job which to me was what Chelsea should have done
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: May 21, 2024, 09:47:44 PM

But bro, it's just my way of thinking, maybe there's something I read and see on the news, yeah, but tell me one thing, honestly, what are you saying you don't like? Badmouthing Ten Hag? because I clarify that I speak badly of him and not of the Club, because I have arguments that support my comments, for example what he did with CR7, that seemed like an injustice to me, and I speak of karma especially about him because just look, CR7 left to Arab football and yet he is having the success that Ten Hag did not want him to have in the MU and on a pure whim, and look how the life is that puts everyone in their place, the team like Such the MU has stopped winning and it is Ten Hag's fault, of course many say that he comes in to play, but he directs, and from a football point of view I see that City is much better prepared than MU, plus MU has to improve a lot, I consider that they have a squad Phenomenal, they have players worthy of being champions, but what if they are poorly managed?

I don’t see any Karma hitting anybody as far as I am concerned. The team having a difficult time getting results which we all is mostly associated to the hierarchy lack of buying quality players and also mostly injuries to frat team players. Ten Hag might be hated for his role in the event that got Ronaldo out of Manchester United but he wasn’t the person that pulled the plug, the club did after he made a retrograding statement about the club, even it was true the media to air his views were not the right one.

His issue with Ten Hag was to me a thing that both had their fair share of the blame to. Ronaldo wanted to dictate everything at the club and Ten Hag wanted the control of the team which is the first for a successful manager. The issue to me started when Jorge Mendez was busy offering Ronaldo out to champions league clubs which was a direct insult to the club and the manager because he could have just handed in a transfer request instead. He missed pre season and blamed it on the death of the his Daughter which could have also been communicated to the manager or the club. Ten Hag build a team during this preseason and didn’t want to go against it and then had to drop Ronaldo to the bench which he didn’t want. No manager will want to lose a dressing to any place even if you’re the greatest player in the world. sir Alex actually aced the likes of Van Nistroy and Beckham when they felt untouchable and there was nothing like Karma to me and same thing is happening to him. So there is no karma like you insinuate buh how faith wanted it
17  Other / Meta / Re: Is this forum getting worse and worse? on: May 21, 2024, 09:00:22 PM
I don't want to correlate this forum's comedown with the mixer ban, even though I've thought of it and it's likely one major factor, but what's the current picture of Bitcointalk according to you? To me, it's declining in genuine interest.

I wouldn’t say mixers directly but some signature campaigns that weren’t about mixers too ended and the forum is filled with Gambling signatures which you know requires participants to post more on gambling board and that has actually reduced the participation of members most especially reputable ones in the forum, so yeah the signature campaign actually did have its effect on the traffic here.

The few boards that you will see getting busy this days is the gambling board and also the speculation board when there is a huge pump or heavy dump. This days people just come online to meet campaign post quota and pass on to the other places. Seriously the forum is at a decline when compare to last year
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 20, 2024, 09:50:10 PM
Pep Guardiola actually care, if he is given another team to coach I'm not sure if they are going to make it the way he is successful in Manchester city. He is a good coach no doubt but he has one of the best combination of players right now in Premier League. Even when he was in Barcelona, his effort alone didn't bring those trophy, he had the best players then and this is why all his clubs are not free from Financial fair play allegation, Barcelona had it and Manchester City has the same case.

You see this right here is the reason why most people actually do not consider Pep as the greatest manager that some people point him out to be. I will say this is debatable because to me he has earned they recognition. Yes he managed the best teams and the best players at each team and spend money a lot, but I tell you there are many coaches today they actually spend much money than him and couldn’t implement there playing pattern on the team. It is easy to gather lots of players but not that easy to make them play beautiful football and put them straight up as a serial winners. A four peat in a row of the premier league is definitely not something that is ordinary. Greats like Alex Ferguson couldn’t also implement that so let’s give Pep Guardiola his flowers

Real's victory this season has been clear for a long time now, long before the last rounds, because their form clearly showed that they are the best this season. Moreover, their chances of winning the Champions League this time are very high, so this season is clearly for Real. Given the way they are now, they will be incredible next season if Mbappe joins them

In as much I don’t believe it that Vinicius will actually don’t like Mbappe coming to Real Madrid because he might have said that due to the anger then they Mbappe first rejected them. Vinicius is a selfless player that I think Mbappe will definitely benefit from as a teammate due to his work rate. This players are not similar players they have different style of pattern that to me complements each other.

Mbappe will definitely add much firing power to the Real Madrid team and will fit in well if everything goes well, but this doesn’t mean they will be too exceptional next season, there was a time they had the Best players in each position on the team under Mourinho but still failed to win the Champions league.

It’s really a step backwards for Manchester United and for Chelsea they have really improved their game and the result at the end of the season is really impressive, no one expected them to end at 6th place and secure a spot in European competition. I feel Chelsea will qualify for the Europa because i don’t see Manchester United winning Manchester City in the FA Cup.

Manchester United needs to improve their team before next season starts because this squad cannot compete in the league especially with such weak defense. They need to rebuild the team even though Ten Hag will stay a little longer.

Yes Manchester United to improve because this their season was definitely too poor. They have already arranged departures and that would mean more arrivals too which is good. But you see that Manchester United defense I don’t think they actually were lacking quality but rather injury ripped them off their players like Martinez and Shaw plus the entire back line except Diogo Dalot.

As for Chelsea they were coming up this end of season which wasn’t a shock to me, because I did expected much from them and to be sincere they were actually creating chances all season but weren’t able to convert. Also the midfield looks settle as Cole Palmer took the attacking role with Gallagher been given the freedom to be a box to box. This new formation has actually shown the quality of Moises Caicedo who look better without Enzo around him. If I were Pochettino I would build on this last eleven during preseason and add just few changes
20  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Running a Bitcoin Nodes; My curiosity on: May 20, 2024, 06:46:37 PM
I've read a lot about the Bitcoin nodes and about running one myself but it's nearly impossible to download almost 500 GB of the entire Blockchain with the speed of the Internet I'm currently using. I know nodes are just simple computers running on the Bitcoin network operated by individuals and I've also learned that there are approximately 75k active nodes ( both listening and non-listening nodes) my curiosity is what would happen to Bitcoin if these 75k node operators decided to shut down.

If all nodes shuts down then everything about bitcoin also goes down. Because miners are also node runners and if all miners stop working then nobody will mine bitcoin, nodes also verify transactions which makes them much significant to the network.
So it’s Fair to say bitcoin that without node runners bitcoin won’t exist.

Except you want to run a full node then downloading the whole Block shouldn't be your problem. You can run a pruned nodes to reduce the total storage which the block will occupy in your disk space, The current Blockchain size is around 651.13 GB [1] so it's even above your 500 GB space.

Running a prune node is just practically saving some blocks only, nothing changes with full node. You will still need to download every block which is the total storage and that’s what OP was all about. Also even if you need to import an address practically a old one you will need to download all blockchain again
